personality || Beatrix is very clever and sharp-tongued. She doesn't have a filter as to what she says, and doesn't particularly care of she offends someone with her words. She's impatient and quick to annoy, and trust me, you'll receive an earful once you've struck a nerve. Though, despite this prickly attitude of her's, she does care deeply for those within the pack and fusses over their wellbeing often. She's more than willing to take away someone's pain and feel it for herself. In addition, she doesn't like to admit it, but she can be a real softie with certain things, particularly if she hears one of her packmates' tragic stories. She will cry, a lot. They might even get a very tight, constricting hug.

history || Beatrix, like Hudson, was taken away from her original life at a young age, aged just two years old, so she doesn't remember her original life. However, once Beatrix turned ten, she quickly became one of the fiercest of the experiments, constantly fighting against the scientists, and never giving up. She received a lot of punishment for this behavior, but she never let it quell her anger, in fact, it only stoked the fire. Many scientists would walk about with bruises, bite marks, black eyes, what have you, all from this girl. At fifteen, someone finally let her out, she still doesn't know who to this day. She likes to claim that it was a scientist who was just sick of dealing with her. Once released, she eagerly followed some other freed shapeshifters out of the laboratory, joining the pack. With her powers, it was decided that having her in the position of Iota would be useful.

personality || Jace is calm, quiet, and has an undying sense of optimism, making him a really soothing presence to be around. His wisdom and maturity go beyond his age. He has a big motivation to help others in need, but as a result, often times has a hard time considering his own health and wellbeing. He has a bad habit of working until he passes out. He's also incredibly gullible, forgiving, and it's way too easy to earn his trust and to deceive him. He is a firm pacifist and would never dream of hurting anyone, no matter the situation. He believes that any tension can be relieved by words, or at the very least punching an inanimate object instead of a person.

history || Jace was taken away from his family at twelve years of age when he was just taking a simple walk in his neighborhood by himself one afternoon. It was a terrible experience for him, to be separated from his close-knit family; his mother, his father, and his two younger brothers. He desperately clung to the warm memory of them in the lab, even as he began to forget what they sounded like, what they looked like, how they acted. However, he passively went along with the experiments, believing that he would have a peaceful way out. That belief came true, and he was beyond grateful when, at age 23, he was secretly released and snuck out of the lab with the help of a benevolent scientist who had grown fond of his gentle nature. He started out his life of freedom by trying to search for his family, but unfortunately, in the wake of the recent apocalyptic events, he realized that it would be impossible. That was the first time he's given up hope. He stuck with the pack of fellow shapeshifters, and has begun to consider them his new family.

personality || Hudson is a smug individual, with a casual and cocky attitude that could easily get him killed. He has a streak of mischief to him, loving to involve himself with some trouble whenever possible. On the other hand, he has a good sense of humor and surprising to most, he's actually quite organized and focused when it comes to his work. He's able to come up with a mental to-do list, and he will do anything in his power to get those things done that same day. Though, by no means is he a workaholic, because he by far prefers relaxation and play. He is also rather observant and enjoys analyzing the personalities and quirks of those around him, and then pointing them out to that person, just for the sake of irritating them.

history || Hudson was just three years old when he was taken away to the labs, and doesn't really remember his life beforehand. Hudson, however, does remember the absolute nightmare of the experiments he suffered through for years. The way he was locked up in a small space all of the time and the horrendous lack of activity or freedom in his life stick out for him in particular. He hated every second of it. He wanted out, and he on day managed to get out by his own means. After years of studying the scientists who worked with him, he noted that one had frequent migraines. One day, that particular scientist was having a migraine, and by screeching at the top of his lungs, that scientist broke down. Seeing this distraction as an opening to escape, he snatched the scientist's key card and ran out as fast as his legs could carry him, and ran until he felt like they were no longer following him. After weeks of wandering, he came across the pack of shapeshifters, and joined the group. Eventually, the higher-ups found him trustworthy enough to handle the position of Rho.

personality || Selene is rather aloof, she's distant, quiet, and keeps her guard up at all times. Very few earn her trust and even fewer get to know how she's feeling. She keeps her problems to herself and avoids talking about her emotions with others at all costs. For this reason, she's pretty much a mystery to most. However, she has a huge soft spot for children, and around the kids in the pack, she becomes very cheery and playful, as well as fiercely protective. Aside from the typical things the kids must learn for their survival, she also teaches them songs from musicals, and she will every now-and-then teach them whole plays. She's a dreamer, who always imagines what her life could've been, and what her life still can be.

history || Selene was taken into the lab when she was eighteen. Her home life was rough when she was taken away; her mother left her father, her father had to work two jobs to support his family, and on top of school, Selene had to take care of her three younger siblings. Over the years, she nearly escaped several times, and every single time, she was dragged right back to her cell. At 24, she finally did manage to get out, finding her way to a city. She wandered the streets, stole a few books full of play and musical scripts from a library, and hid away in alleys. However, the scientists managed to find her again and brought her back. She kept her books hidden. She'd read them, she'd recite them, she'd memorize them, and she'd sing their songs. They were the one thing that kept her mind off of the reality of her situation. It was a miracle when she escaped once and for all when she was 27 along with a few other shifters, who guided her to the pack.
