unlike many of the shifters in the pack, andy was
actually born and raised in the labs. a true test-
tube creation. she went through many traumas
during her years in the labs and still has the sc
ars, both physical and otherwise. she fell in lo
ve with another captive shifter as a teenager w
hich the scientists actually supported. the two
became 'mates' once they matured, but it only
made the scientists force more tests. for eight
years they were tormented due to their love, b
ut as soon as it was found out that andy was pr
egnant, the two broke out and escaped. they li
ved on the run for months before a hunter killed
her mate. andy joined the pack soon after, their
warriors killing the hunter that chased her. she's
been with the pack ever since, using her powers
to heal which promoted her to the rank of iota.
since she's recently lost her 'mate', andy isn't loo
king for another, but is trying to move on for the
sake of her child. she also knows she'll need the
support and security that comes with having one.

sasha was born in the labs just like andy had be
en, but only stayed there for half his life instea
d of most of it like andy. sasha adored andy and
nicknamed her 'stardust' after the scientists nam
ed her andromeda. the two were pretty close, b
ut sasha escaped the labs without her after she
chose her lover over him. he escaped when he w
as only sixteen and has been living on his own e
ver since. it's been a hard life, constantly on ale
rt for hunters or the minions from the labs who
were out looking for him. his birth lab saw him
as the ultimate weapon, a lion with the ability t
o control energy without much of a second thou
ght. sasha knows how valuable he is to the labs
and refuses to give them the pleasure of captur
ing him. when he heard that andy had escaped,
sasha set out to find his baby sister, his stardust.
its been months and he has yet to find her, but
he's confident that he's on the right track and w
ill find her soon. he has yet to find love and doe
sn't care to, he's too use to being out on his own.

genetically speaking, eva is the identical twin to
zachariah, but in reality, she's actually a year yo
unger than him. she was created on a whim by t
he scientists and is considered a surprising mirac
le of science. her genetic code was taken and sp
liced many times to try and create something be
tter, but nothing ever worked. eva's negation po
wers became known when she was only a few m
onths old. it would cancel out the powers of ev
ery shifter in her immediate area which only hel
ped the scientists. they used her to shut down t
he powers of aggressive shifters and kept her ar
ound when performing tests to keep them off. s
he was put through many traumas when being u
sed in such a way, but has been able to block ou
t much of it. she escaped shortly after her broth
er did since her jaguar form had manifested at t
he same time. eva had found the pack in oklaho
ma, but stayed away after they were attacked a
nd has followed them to colorado. she also has y
et to actually meet her twin brother, zachariah.

mika was john beckett's first ever successful cre
ation, all the others having never drawn a breat
h. he was the first of many for 'project guardian'
, but none ever surpassed him. mika was trained
since 'birth' to be a loyal guardian, to protect th
e labs from those who would destroy it. he was
given electro-shock treatment to implement trig
ger words, a precaution after several guardians
went rouge. mika hadn't needed the triggers, h
e was undyingly loyal to his creator, but they w
anted to be safe. when he was 20, his creator h
ad a daughter and was given orders to keep an e
ye on the child. years later when jj went on a ra
mpage, mika was injured protecting marie and
was unable to save his creator. he's now fully lo
yal to only marie. his trigger words are spoken i
n german to protect from accidental use; alpha,
dawn, one, guardian, january. he became a lone
r after being separated from his lab during the a
pocalypse. he's still looking for marie since he's s
till loyal even after being separated for so long.
