Jeong Hui takes most things with a grain of salt and has difficulty trusting others. He’s insanely loyal and protective to those who eventually gain said trust. He has a wicked stubborn streak and has a tendency to observe internal conflict within the group on the sidelines. Jeong Hui is confident in his abilities and is able to stay calm in stressful situations. He also has a tendency to unknowingly, so he claims, flirt with those around him almost as if it’s second nature to him. The man can be quite defensive if someone asks about his family or past. Jeong Hui occasionally acts on impulse and is at times very childlike, but will quickly correct himself when he is told about his behavior because he doesn’t always realize what he’s doing. Jeong Hui is at times innocent and doesn't understand certain types of jokes and is overall pretty naive despite the hardships he faced growing up. He is also a bit of a neat freak, he keeps all of his weapons clean and tenses up if one of them is even slightly damaged. Jeong Hui doesn’t display it much in front of the others, but he does have a sweet and kind demeanor buried beneath the anger and pain he’s dealt with.

Kwon Jeong Hui was born in Seattle and lived there with his parents and older sister for the first year of his life before the family relocated back to Incheon, South Korea where his father had lived as a child. After the death of his father at age six, his mother moved the family back to Seattle to raise her children. His mother died when he was 15 and his older sister was 20 leaving them orphaned and alone. His sister was unable to provide the care he needed which led him to living in foster care for a year before running away. His first foster family had tried to beat the ‘gay’ out of him till he had enough and fought back. He stabbed his foster father with a knife before escaping. He lived on the streets for 6 months, which had left him pretty traumatized, before eventually joining the group.

Jinx
Jeong Hui originally had been a tad bit intimidated by Jinx, but that all changed once he began to trust her. Now that he trusts her, he sees her as an older sister despite the fact the he's actually older than her. He happily acts childish and like a younger brother around her. Out of everyone in the group, he trusts Jinx the most.
Raven
Jeong Hui feels tense around Raven and is slightly scared of her due to her icy personality and fiery temper. He still does respect her leadership skills as well as her other abilities, he just does so at a safe distance. He can understand her desire to hide her past as he does as well.
Jah
Jeong Hui sees him like an older brother and tries his best to hide his joy when listening to the stories of the fights the leader has been in. He respects the man's fighting ability as well as his weapon choice.
Red
Jeong Hui, much like with Jinx, views Red as an older sister or motherly figure. He actually enjoys her company and finds the woman to be quite amusing especially when he sees her play around with people's head. He likes the fact that he can be childish around Red and the fact that she reminds him of his boundaries which puts him at ease.
Wil
Jeong Hui doesn't trust her in the slightest, it's not even because she is new to the group. She's worrisome as she refuses help and that pisses him off because the group needs to help each other in order to work properly. However, he sees himself in her when she has an outburst. He gets it, he really does he just wishes the girl would let the others help when she needs it.
Wraith
Wraith is one of the few people in the group that actually really terrifies Jeong Hui. The man is silent and is able to easily pick apart a person by what he hears. He respects him nonetheless he respects the man and isn't really annoyed by his arrogance. Jeong Hui does try to keep some sort of distance between them. Jeong Hui also finds the whole bad boy act kinda hot and even if he is scared of the guy, he is very much attracted to him... He’s not scared of Wraith, no Matt, like he used to be. His attraction slowly turned into a crush and he thinks he’s pretty subtle about it. The man makes his heart race and sends him into a gay panic with every sight of shirtless chest, wink, and hug.
Spider
Spider is the other member of the group that actively terrifies Jeong Hui. The man is eerie and at times makes his skin crawl. He would be liar if he didn’t say that Spider was hot with his bad boy attitude and tattoos.
Del
Jeong Hui while he may not trust Del quite yet knows that he eventually could. He could easily see her as a little sister and finds her quirkiness adorable. He respects how intelligent she is and knows that she is probably far smarter than he is and could ever imagine being.
Marquez
Jeong Hui doesn't know the man nor trust him, not even in the slightest. He's shady, he knows he's shady, everybody knows he's shady. The man is also dirty and messy which makes Jeong Hui uncomfortable and he wishes that man would clean up after himself.
Smiler
Out of three new members, Jeong Hui sees himself being able to eventually get close with Smiler. He sees Smiler as someone he could eventually rely on and respects that they both seem to be protective of the team as well as Smiler's bravery and organization skills and fearlessness. He likes the man's weapon choices although he does wish Smiler would keep his bat cleaner.
Brooklyn
Right out the bat, Brooklyn impresses Jeong Hui because she uses his favorite type of weapon: a knife. He would be open to even open to training her to use other types of melee weapons. He respects her intelligence and abilities, she is someone that he is happy to be on the same side as. He, like with Red, finds Brooklyn's cunning and devious tricks against others immensely funny. Yet of course he still doesn't trust quite yet because she is still too new.
Lucky
Jeong Hui relates to Lucky more than you might think as his attitude also doesn't fit the typical criminal's. The boys could probably bond over having been in the foster care system and he wouldn't mind talking about it with Lucky because he for some odd reason feels at ease around him. Jeong Hui could as far as saying that once he begins to trust Lucky, he could probably see him like a brother. Perhaps it's because their personalities are similar or maybe just like with the other members of the group, he finds Lucky entertaining.
Aster
Jeong Hui sees a younger version of himself in Aster, the Jeong Hui before the death of his mother and being in foster care. He enjoys the boy because he's amused by how flustered the boy gets around him. Jeong Hui suspects that Aster may have a small crush on him, but who is he kidding because everyone has a small crush on him. He does want to protect Aster from going too far down the path he's heading and once he fully trusts the boy, he could see him being like a younger brother.
