Theresa Grimes , or "Candie", hasn't been a criminal long. At the age of nineteen, she decided, after a
rough few months, that the world owed her. She had experienced deaths,stress, bankruptcy, being evicted
and living on the streets. She was done. Enough. Her parents weren't around to help her, considering her
father was dead and her mother was always high, Born an only kid, Theresa had no siblings to rely on. She
was on her own. That's where the stealing started. What began as only necessities soon turned into clothes,
jewelry and other things as she got more greedy. She was caught one day, stealing a candy bar. In her blind
panic of being arrested, she used her old house keys and stabbed the man who caught her. As the blood fell
down her fingers, she realized she didn't feel guilty. The adrenaline of doing something bad was always there
when she stole, but now it was amplified to the point of feeling high. Theresa lay there giggling for hours as
the effect wore off. After it was gone, she felt lost again. That high of adrenaline let her forget all her issues
for a little bit. She needed that feeling again. She began killing at random, no pattern or rhyme to it. After
she realized the police were after her, she decided it was time for a makeover. Theresa cut her hair, bought
some sunglasses and got piercings + a tattoo, and started wearing loads of makeup. As for her alias, that was
tricky. She needed a name that sounded real, but cool at the same time. After realizing what got her started
in this life, she decided "Candie" was appropriate. Tired of working alone though, she came across "the quiet
ones" from an undisclosed member who wanted her as a recruit.
