hey everyone! welcome! I hope you are interested, I know this doesn't explain much about the plot but I'm adding pack descriptions to the rp thread. Basically, this is about one dark, cold pack, waging war on another. While one pack has it easy, with water, and abundant prey, the other is full of hate and is starving and wants to take over. So any plot ideas that follow that are more than welcome to be brought up. <3 I will be alpha of the Embers pack (the one that is wanting more land and is "evil") and so alpha of the other is open.

The devil is, and always will be, a gentleman.

i. Thanatos ii. 5 years old iii. Burning Embers Alpha iv. Male
v.Thanatos has a very thick ebony pelt, topped with bright amber
eyes that seem to bore holes into your soul. He is all muscle and his fur adds size to him,
though it isn't very deceptive. The giant brute weighs in at 220, and reaches 3'7
which makes him tower over everyone, its like he was meant for this role.
He sports scars over his left eye and a few on his shoulders from past battles
but his fighting skills have left him without very many scars.
vi.Thanatos is very dark, he is closed off to the world and the
pack on occasion, though because he is alpha he is force to mingle and keep track of
everything that is going on. You will rarely see him smiling and much more often see the
evil in his eyes. He kills for fun, and picks on the smaller. Its extremely hard to make him
laugh, though if you're the right wolf, he might show his emotions. He likes to be alone,
he doesn't say much, unless spoken to and you will know if he doesn't like you. That being
said, if you are the right wolf, he is loyal, caring, and even trustworthy.
vii. He is extremely young for an alpha, and a lot of wolves have doubted him
in the past. Many have tried to take his position but have failed and
he continues to defend and protect what's his every day. He was born into
a pack called Silver Creek, when he was only 2 a wolf by the name of Kaleb
came and overthrew the Alpha of Silver Creek, after only ruling for a week he
murdered everyone. Everyone besides Thanatos. Thanatos was the one to end
Kaleb's life, but not before he lost his entire pack and family. He then started
his own pack, and defends it because he doesn't want anyone to go through the
same thing he has.

a very thick, white pelt, with hints of greys and silvers mixed in. topped with deep honey
colored eyes that you can hardly see due to the darker tones that cover her face. She stands
slightly taller than the average sized female, and is also very strong.
v. athena is a very feisty girl that is always instigating arguments and
breaking into fights. She is known for being merciless and deceptive, yet cunning and flirtatious.
She is always the first to aid in anything that the Alpha might need.Athena is hard to get
along with because of the first impression she usually gives off. She can be extremely
cold hearted and for her young age is full of hatred.
vi. she stumbled upon Burning Embers just two years ago when Thanatos
was just starting to form a decent sized pack. She took a liking to this pack because they all
had one thing in common, anger. She was tossed out of her liter for being to large,
she was then taken in by a wolf named Elle. Elle was very kind and a great adoptive mother,
but she was killed when she refused to take an Omega as a mate in the pack she and Athena
were in. Athena knew immediately that she needed to get out, so she left. She
refused to take a mate of lesser rank, just like Elle.

v. Smart, patient, kind, out going, gentle, reserved,
trustworthy, can be shy. Very smart, fast thinker, obedient, careful. She has very good agility, and she cares about everyone, and shows it. She is a hopeless romantic and just wants a mate that will be extremely protective over her, and get jealous over the little things.
vi.Her family abandoned her when she was only a few months old. She was then found by Blue Moons pack and tries to repay them for taking her in every day in every way she can.

Name: Hrafn (Norse for Raven)
Nickname: Hrafn is short enough.
Looks:
Description: Hrafn is a brute that is a little on the small side. Though most wolves in Burning Embers are slim with hunger and Hrafn is no exception, even if he was to fill out his frame, he would still stand a little smaller than the average wolf. With contemplative yellow eyes and a coat of cream with highlights of silver and black that catch the light, Hrafn doesn't look like much, for one belonging to a pack known for their viciousness and anger. All the same, he is lithe and wiry, with a smooth but thick pelt that manages to hide his ribs. He is well proportioned, with a slightly longer tail in comparison to the rest of his body, something he always used to step on in his youth but now uses quite well as a balancing aid.

With gentle, precise movements and a thoughtful air, Hrafn seems to carry around an almost fragile air about him, especially with his small size. Couple that with how his fur always smells of herbs and spices, and you have a wolf that doesn't look very intimidating at all.

Things left unsaid...
Personality: The first impression one would have of Hrafn is that of a quiet thinker. Not exactly the type to stand out by showing one's dominance or rolling over at someone else's, he is content to be on the middle of the pack's ranking pole. He is polite yet suave, willing to throw a sarcastic quip at anyone who oversteps their boundaries, very capable of standing his ground. Accepting anyone into his den whether they are injured or just emotionally distressed, Hrafn is often just a steady pillar of support, there for anyone who needs him (as long as they're respectful about it). Being neither rude nor overly prideful, at first glance it is hard to see how or why Hrafn would be within the Burning Embers pack.

However, Hrafn was not coerced into the pack, nor does he quietly disagree with it's beliefs. No, Hrafn is wholeheartedly with his pack. Though quiet, to assume that he is a pacifist would be a deadly mistake that one will not have the luck to meet again. Though Hrafn is commonly presented as the softer side to the Burning Embers pack, the one whom loners and perhaps members from other packs would be able to bond to and rely on to help them, if he senses that anyone would do any harm to the pack, he would get rid of them, very possibly through nightshade or some other deadly herb snuck into their food. To mistake Hrafn's politeness for kindness is a huge mistake. All in all, Hrafn is just not bothered with aggressive displays. Let other wolves growl and fight amongst themselves, he is not concerned with politics. He simply sees the best choice for his pack and does it, whether it's by helping to mediate a fight or killing off someone (though he hates getting his own paws dirty)

Very sharp and observant, Hrafn is seen as a relatively smart individual, though he doesn't think so himself. He simply knows how to read a room and the emotions of others, and then use it to get the best outcome. His intelligence does not come from genius, but more because he spends so long thinking about things. He is less one of those natural born geniuses and more the kind that is resolutely determined, simply persistently practicing till he has an adequate level of mastery over something.

As a healer, Hrafn is a fan of tough love. He will not attempt to baby any injured wolf, though he would heal them, regardless of prejudice. He tells bad news straight, and makes no attempt to cushion any hard facts. All the same, he is committed to his craft, and though he may be callous or immoral, he will not let anything threaten the wellbeing of his patients, even if it's themselves. He does not abide any sort of fighting within his den, and can get very aggressive if an injured wolf tries or is made to leave before they are ready.

As a fighter, Hrafn is not the strongest. Agile with a sharp bite, he can cause a lot of pain, but does not necessarily have the muscle to have a killing bite. All the same, he is not to be underestimated. Years as a healer have given him great insight as to how the body works, and whilst he does not have a lot of strength, he will implicitly aim for pressure points and weak spots of the body, not above attacking a wolf right where they are injured. All the same, he knows fighting isn't his specialty, and will usually just tell someone else to handle it instead.

All in all, Hrafn is a quiet, philosophical wolf who is content with where he is and always ready to hold a conversation. Being amiable and calm, he is a wolf that is easy to open up to, especially in comparison to the other wolves of the pack. However, if you are a threat to the pack, you had best pray that he does not find out. Though he seems kind, Hrafn will be able to slit your throat without remorse.

History: Born to the Burning Embers pack, Hrafn didn't have all that much of an interesting life. Due to his smaller size, he tended to be picked on, which often resulted in him being ostracised or cast out. Due to this, he quickly learned how to not be arrogant, how to keep his head low and be nice enough that the other wolves would see him as a comfort and want to protect him.

All the same, he trained on his own, and at some point, got enamoured with healing. The idea that one could use herbs and plants to affect the body... It was intoxicating. He went under the tutelage of the healer at the time, and studied profusely, using his breaks to practice fighting. At some point, he became able to hold his own, and with the title of healer, was able to command respect from his peers, but even then, he has not stopped practicing.

Fears: The Burning Embers pack falling. Though they've been in adversity, they've always pulled through, and he will see to it that he lets as many of them survive as possible.

personality. freyja is a bit of an enigma as a wolf. she's both some things and their counter opposites depending on her situation. her intelligence and strategic mind are almost unmatched though she's often shy about boasting it; she's a wolf who thrives on being doubted as it fuels her to see the surprise written across another's face so clearly. most of the time she presents herself as a calm, quiet wolf with a patience capable of handling a hundred energetic pups but be warned as it can often turn out to be a facade. her quiet is beaten by her outspokenness and desire to voice her own, strong, opinions while her calmness can hide an easily triggered temper. her patience truly isn't a facade, she'll wait for the right moment every time to do anything no matter how long it takes. she's a dominant wolf and will rarely back down to anyone, despite her size she isn't scared to bare her teeth and put another in her place when she feels the need to. fiercely loyal freyja is ready to defend her pack with her last dying breath even though she would rather seek out a truce than for this war to go on. though warm on the inside she is more than willing to hide her emotions behind a stony mask in fear of presenting herself as weak. the rare times she's capable of dissolving this mask she is a caring individual who desires a family and mate.
appearance. freyja isn't much to look at. she's a smaller than the average female and is thus often dwarfed by most males. despite her size her body is tightly packed with muscle which is usually hidden beneath a thick coat. she's an easy wolf to underestimate but most who have tangled with her once won't do it again when they see her hidden strength. her coat is rather thick, well suited for colder temperatures, and is a vibrant silver color and easily hidden within the mountain terrain she lives near. she possesses honey colored eyes.
history. freyja was born into the burning embers pack and faced many challenges in her time there. she was small and therefore doubted by many of the pack who perceived her as weak. she could sense from such a young age that the pack wasn't willing to accept peace unless the blue moon pack were all killed. At just over a year old she defected, seeking out the blue moon pack where she sought refuge. quickly freyja did all she could to prove her loyalty and once she had was gladly accepted into the pack before quickly rising through the ranks until she reached beta.

personality. plagued by misfortune and pain aeldit has developed into an angry, solitary wolf who desires to find his peace in any way he can. although not short-tempered he's highly aggressive and despises closeness from others; any form of affection he is shown now makes him snarl and snap his jaws. stubborn and brutish he isn't always the easiest to get along with and is usually okay with this fact. his outwardly personality is rather shallow and easy to decipher, he's a wolf who thirsts for others pain and seeks to make another feel the same way he does. inside he's a male troubled by regrets and self blame; he takes the full guilt of what has happened in his past and it weighs heavily on his conscious. aeldit was once a charming, though still solitary, individual who valued his privacy. though not disloyal he had never found a pack worth committing to and has thus lived a loner life for quite some time. although still stubborn towards the few he cared about he was always willing to cave, his soft spot was greater than he'd ever admit and for those he loved he was faithful.
appearance. aeldit is an average sized wolf in all ways, he is neither taller nor more muscular than the other males around him. his coat is a mixture of many different colors mainly browns, cream, and various shades of grey. his body is one littered in scars with the most dominant one across his neck where the fur refuses to grow over.
history. aeldit comes from a long line of wolves who have chosen small family packs over larger ones and at one point he too desired this type of family. at only two years old he left his the comfort of his mother, father, and siblings to pursue his own way of life. not long after he ventured across a pack where he quickly fell in love with one of the pack's subordinates, aada. the two had a secret affair for several months before aada finally left her pack on bad terms to seek a life with him. for months they lived happily together before having pups of their own, three healthy ones. overcome with bliss life was perfect for the mates. six months ago was when tragedy struck. having not gone far from aada's former pack they were quickly tracked down. in the middle of the night three of the subordinates descended on his family, while aeldit called for aada and the pups to run he attempted to fend them off. however it was pointless, one of the wolves got around him and chased after his mate before brutally slaughtering her and two of their pups. aeldit blamed himself and anger overcame him, he searched for his pup to no avail and in his despair and anger became who he now is. he joined burning embers for the sole reason of seeking some form of revenge.
