personality; Romanos is a bit of a hard nose. A stickler for the rules and willing to do anything to keep others safe. Romanos has taken it upon himself to try and keep all the sea creatures around the island safe from harms way. His main enemy has been the humans, ever since his family went mysteriously missing when a fishing boat raided their herd.
weaponry/items; Romanos has no hands, so using items are difficult for him. However slight power over waves and the ability to glide out of water for short times is quite useful to him

I don't think either of my characters would fit a caretaker very well. However I have been kind of wanting to make a hippocampus for awhile. I was thinking of him being a guard that patrols the perimeter of the island. He would probably be up to looking after any lost children he finds. He would probably be a strict parent though.
This is all just a thought though, in case no one else decides to rise from the dead in this rp

If possible, could Lyle join this mini family? c: he doesn’t really have any friends oof

family: Her caretaker is Romanos and sibling is Lyle

personality: Alyssa loves to play on the sand and in the ocean. She loves to be around people. Alyssa is very bubbly and energetic. She is also super curious and out going. One of her favorite things to do is turn into a seal and swim. She is always trying to be very active and happy.

history: Alyssa was swimming in the ocean in her seal form, when she got lost. She then saw a shore and swam over to it. That's when she saw a Hippocampus. He swam over to Alyssa. He was a guard who patrols the shores of the island. She told him that she was lost and had no idea where she was. He calmed her down a small bit. He said that he could take care of her. Alyssa accepted his offer and they have lived together ever since. Sometimes, she turns into a human and walks around the island, sometimes without him knowing. Depsite him being strict, they always get over their disputes. Alyssa loves him so much.

his body is about twice as long as the picture shows. he has both lungs and gills, but is both faster and healthier when in an aquatic habitat. he is mostly black, with the white splotches on his back being white. his teeth are ivory white, and the pronounced scales on his limbs are obsidian in colour. the webbing on his back is dark purple, and the spines are bright white like his teeth. his length matches that of a medium sized sailboat, about 40 feet.

personality; lacus is quite protective, and being the current largest animal native to the island, he thinks of himself as it's guardian. he is quite serious, rarely showing a playful side, and demands respect. he is very easy-going, and not hard to please. he can often be found on the beach getting some sun when he's not swimming the length of the island keeping an eye out for poachers. lacus is the oldest known creature on the island, both hatched and raised here.

personality; umbra is very bright, and very cheery. she likes making others happy, and adores young creatures. she is a little quiet sometimes, and has a fear of large crowds and humans, but this doesn't get in the way of her life much. umbra is a very intelligent creature, always one step ahead of poachers. she is a very skilled swimmer, easily making sharp turns and displays of grandeur through different underwater tricks.

In all honesty I feel the same way :/ I usually wait for other people to respond though, so maybe I could make another character for one of yours to interact with? Maybe more people could see the thread being bumped more often, though I may be without internet in a week or so
