Decided to revive my old RP since I'm back on the Marvel bandwagon!

After the events of Civil War, the Avengers are broken up. Steve and those who sided with him are residing in Wakanda for now, while international governments are attempting to track them down. From there they go out on ocassional missions when people are in trouble, but they risk getting thrown back in prison by doing so. Tony and those who signed the accords are still in New York, continuing the Avengers initiative under the control of the United Nations. Although, when Hydra rises up again, bigger than ever and with plenty of superpowered individuals in their hands, the divided heroes must come together once again to defeat Hydra once and for all.

Rules:
1. All CS rules apply
2. Disable your signature on RP thread, but they're fine on the discussion thread.
3. Try to use proper grammar
4. No killing others' characters without permission
5. You will be kicked from the roleplay if you don't post at least twice a week,
unless telling me before hand that you'll be away.
6. Minor swearing like damn and hell are allowed, but all other swears must be censored and used rarely.
7. Character limit includes 2 canon characters and 3 OCs.
8. No romantic relationships between your own characters.
9. Write in third person
10. Must write enough that people can respond, preferably at least 3 lines of text, or a small paragraph.
11. LGBTQA+ characters are encouraged. Fill this rp with headcanons!
12. Character forms and ooc conversations go on the discussion thread
13. Keep Infinity War spoilers to a minimum! This will take place in those two years between the two movies. You can include canon elements from Infinity War as long as they're minor pieces of info.

Current Events:

An attack has recently- and suddenly- been made on New York City, and a few buildings came tumbling down before our heroes could stop it. The attacks are rumored to have been organized by Hydra, meaning that they are starting to become more direct than in previous years. The threat is large but practically untraceable, even with all of Tony's technology. It being clear that they were going to need some extra help, with much hesitation and over-thinking, he soon called up Steve and the rest of the Avengers to meet about the incident in the Avenger's training facility.

History: After his tussle with Tony, Steve freed his friends from the raft prison, and T'Challa graciously offered that they could stay in Wakanda. Bucky was put in a deep cryogenic sleep while Shuri and Wakanda's scientists figured out a way to help him, and the rest of the group was lent a small apartment building near the center of the city.

Relationships: Friends with most of the Avengers, even though some friendships are rocky.

Personality:
Loki is cold and manipulative. He enjoys playing with his opponents and showing off how intelligent and prepared he is. He can anticipate another's move several steps before it. Some say it is sheer dumb luck he can do so, others say it is due to his magic. Loki doesn't show softer feelings outside his frosty facade but despite being cold towards others, Loki actually cares deeply for Thor, refusing to admit so, if confronted.
Loki is known to lash out when vulnerable. Often manipulating another's feelings so he is spared and can gain the upper hand. There are many warmer feelings that Loki hasn't experienced due to his closed-off nature but if someone manages to worm their way past his facade, they would find a broken, lost god who just wants someone to care for him.
History:
Loki is the son of Laufey, a frost giant from Jotunheim. He was adopted by Odin when he was an infant with his heritage concealed from him. When he grew older, he discovered that he was adopted in a battle on Jotunheim. When he confronted Odin, Loki's emotions grew out of control and he lashed out verbally at his adopted father, upset that he had been tricked for so many years into believing he was a true prince of Asgard and had just as equal rights to the throne as his adopted brother, Thor. After that, he became lost and didn't know his place in Asgard as he was of the race that Asgard children were raised to hate and fear. He decided to destroy the Jotunns to prove to Odin that he was worthy of the throne and equal to Thor but his efforts were rebuffed by Odin. In the end, causing Loki to become suicidal and fall into the abyss.

Currently, Loki is left wandering around Asgard disguised as Odin.

- Loki is the younger adopted brother of Thor. His relationship with his brother is strained and they often fight viciously against each other. Although, recently, Loki has been showing more forgiveness and love towards Thor as he grows older and the influence of Odin and Asgard's throne are no longer around.

- Loki is a recognised enemy of the Avengers and hated by many of them due to the mistakes he made in the past. He tries to pretend he is not affected by their hostile feelings for him but ultimately just wants to be accepted. The longer he is rejected, the more crazed he will become to earn everyone's respect.

Name: Thor Odinson
Alias: Thor, God of Thunder, Point Break, etc (There’s a lot more names he’s been called once or twice on the Wiki)
Gender: Male
Age: ~1053 years old
Affiliation: Hero, member of the Avengers.
Sexuality: Probably Bi
Positive Traits: Quite caring. Very Optimistic. Trustworthy.
Negative Traits: A bit awkward. Overconfident, occasionally.
Powers/Abilities: Superhuman strength, speed, reflexes, agility, durability, stamina, etc. Essentially everything a regular Asgardian has, but better. After his father and sister died, he has become the strongest Asgardian. Longevity. Accelerated Healing Factor. Elemental Manipulation, mainly Weather Manipulation and Electricity Manipulation, are powers he can use, even without Mjølnir. Some form of Flight is another thing he can do as well.
Skills: Thor is a master martial artist, able to fight well without using his powers or a weapon, if need be. He is highly skilled in using a range of weapons, mainly hammers, swords, and spears, though he could probably use other types of weapon if he had to. While not as good as Loki, Thor has got good leadership skills, and has lead various groups before. He’s a skilled enough pilot, and has driven various ships of different types before. Like all Asgardians, Thor is Multilingual, being able to speak and understand many, many languages.
Personality: While Thor certainly used to be boastful and arrogant, after some recent events, he seemed to change. At first, he had lost his confidence, and wasn’t sure about what to do, but he quickly got this confidence back, as well as a change in personality. Now, Thor tends to be more over-excited when he’s talking to others, and can come across as a bit awkward as well. He’s a lot confident in his actions, and fighting ability, and is more careful of what actions he takes. He has more of an open mind, and tries to see the good in people, even if they’ve done bad things, and he’ll show if he cares about someone. Because he’s been off Earth for a few years, he doesn’t know what happened during Civil War, and is unsure of why the Avengers aren’t friends anymore, but he doesn’t care too much, and keeps a friendly nature with all of them. He trusts the Avengers the most out of everyone, and then Loki next, and then he tries to trust the new Superheroes that showed up while he was gone. It’s good to have his trust as, if you do, he’ll listen to what you say, and he’ll try to help out as much as he can.

Thanks! Haha, I’ve been thinking about adding an OC or two, if nobody else joins and we need some more characters.
Just so it’s not the same few characters interacting all the time. And also because I have several OCs I might as well use at some point.

I watched several Marvel Films again, plus Infinity War, and I realised that Thor is on my list of favourite characters. I don’t normally add characters to that list unless there’s a good enough reason for it

Ok, I’ll just plan out who I’m gonna use, and then write up the forms for them. But it’ll take a little while as I’ll have to write a bit more, because I’m gonna write up some appearance bits as well.
Wow, really? Well, despite the fact that it can take a while to create an OC, it is nice, in the end, to see a finished character interact with others. But that might just be me, I’ve created a lot of OCs over the years.

Wowzer, yeah. I’m actually gonna start watching some more Marvel films again, because I can, and because it’s just fun to watch them. I’m only missing a few films I want to watch again, though, so that’s a little sad
