ebonyjaw is a skilled warrior with a strong sense of leadership. he has a passion for protecting his clan and is loyal to his last breath. his specialty is in battle and he prefers to use claws instead of arguing with words. the tomcat is angered easily and can be very irritable when provoked. he is demanding and strict, and even in his position as a warrior will reprimand just about anyone, besides the leader of course. ebonyjaw is also a very persuasive and cunning tom with a charming side to him. he knows what he wants and will take drastic matters to achieve it- some may call it ambition. he does have a softer side to him, though he seems rough and rugged if you don't take the time to break down his walls. he feels as though he has to maintain a reputation to feel superior. in reality, he is a huge sweetheart to those who get close to his heart and loves his sister dearly.

ebonyjaw was once a tiny mewling kit by the name of ebonykit. his father was a mighty warrior who was highly respected by the name of nightfang. his mother, a petite she-cat who was charming and witty named silverdawn. the two were inseparable as they grew up together, though they never called it love, simply friendship. many, many moons later they finally realized that they wanted a family together, and alas came the three kits named ebonykit, ravenkit and meadowkit. meadowkit didn't live long due to being born weak and frail along with the fact that silverdawn was an old queen. she simply couldn't feed the three hungry mouths. as ebonykit grew into ebonypaw, he was assigned a good mentor that helped him to excel in his training. he was never into making friends or getting into trouble- simply training, eating and sleeping then training some more. during his apprenticeship his father passed away in battle, though it was a noble death protecting an apprentice from a snake attack. his mother was stricken with grief, and he felt unmotivated due to his family falling apart. however, he got past that and made it through his training to become a fine warrior. his mother was loving and supportive, but she was getting quite old at this point and had lost most hearing. she lived a few moons afterwards then finally went on to join starclan and nightfang when she passed away due to sickness. ravensong and ebonyjaw grew closer together after the whole experience, since they hadn't been super close as apprentices.

ravensong tends to keep to herself, but not because she is antisocial. she is a super sweet and timid she-cat with a heart of gold. she is very soft-spoken and is quite different from her opinionated brother. as an apprentice she followed all the rules and trained hard, but she never was as ambitious as he was. she prefers to stay in the sidelines, and to not draw too much attention to herself. however, she is a very good friend because of her laid back personality and her kindness. she is always willing to help others, even if it would hurt herself. she has always been selfless and doesn't know when to say no. this can be a good and bad thing, since she is easily manipulated.

during her kithood, she realized things in life were not fair. her only sister didn't make it past two moons, and her father passed away soon after. she was always very family-oriented and was very close with her mother. when ravensong was made a warrior alongside her brother, only her mother was there to witness it. she often wished that death did not exist, and was confused on why such a good tom like her father had been taken so early. when her mother passed away shortly after being made an elder, she was even more hurt. she felt as though she had no family left due to her brother never being there for her. he seemed as though he only had his heart set on becoming the leader. however, the whole situation helped her brother and her grow closer. she now knows that she will always have him to count on and to confide in.

lightningpaw is an intelligent young tom with a questioning nature. he's a deep thinker, and often overthinks causing him to be anxious. he doesn't rush into situations and takes time when thinking risky things out. he is cautious in almost every aspect in his life. he doesn't make friends easily because of his insecurities. he feels as though others only talk to him because they feel sorry for him. he can't even think about love without getting awkward and shy, and probably will never be able to talk to a pretty she-cat without blushing or stuttering. he's about as shy as they come. as far as his training goes, he is a quick learner with a keen mind for remembering things. he especially excels in speed and quick reflexes, so hunting is his strong point. as far as fighting goes, lightningpaw thinks of himself as a lover, not a fighter. he has a soft and kind heart and would never wish to harm anyone.
