when ginger was twenty-one, he was in a car accident- hit head on by a drunk
driver. by some complete miracle, though, ginger walked away with only a broken
arm and a mild concussion. a week later, he dropped out of college and invested
everything he had into a business downtown. three years later, ginger is the
owner and operator of flour power, a successful bakery in the clinton district
that's as well known for it's food as it is for it's overly cheerful decor, which is a
call back to the 1970s hippy subculture. ginger attributes that success to either
god or him having actually died in the car crash. granted, most of ginger's success
comes from his ambition. while he's not the cutthroat ambitious type, he's not a
wet paper towel, he knows when to stand up for himself and how to run a business.
of course, ginger was raised by two very business-minded parents, who instilled
that in him at a young age. despite being so driven, ginger is a very anxious person.
he tends to be pretty soft spoken when anyone interacts with him outside the
normal business setting, and maybe even a little flighty. ginger is very open-
minded and warm-hearted, really. he'll help anyone in need. to him, every person
has value, and he wouldn't hesitate to give someone the coat off his back, even
when he's living in a less than ideal apartment above his bakery. ginger is
creative and innovative. there's always multiple solutions to any problem, and he's
the type of person to run through several before deciding to stick with the most
unreasonable option available.
