Personality & backstory;
Calm on the outside, that
Speckle makes sure of. She
keeps her cool, she
has taught herself
to not show emotions
to strangers. Inside
her, anxiety
overtakes her. After
her parents died,
she felt alone and
was swallowed
by her insecurities. Her
siblings and mom
died of illness and
her dad died on a
patrol soon
after. She only
connects with a few
cats but when she does, she
enjoys their
company.

looks blizzardhowl is a tall, broad-shouldered, muscular long-haired gray tabby she-cat with yellow eyes and a crippled foreleg.
personality blizzardhowl has always been a very compassionate and friendly she-cat. though she had to retire early due to her injuries, she still has a cheerful spirit, and her clanmates frequently socialize with her and sometimes even invite her to go on late-afternoon hunts with them. blizzardhowl doesn't let her affliction get her down, though she does secretly wish that she could become a warrior again sometime in the future; and her brother, goatstep, is tirelessly working to make this happen.
history blizzardhowl and her brother, goatstep, were born on a snowy leafbare evening. their parents, cougarheart and frozenwhisker, named their kits for the blizzard as well as a goat nearly the entire clan had luckily hunted down just before the storm began. they hoped that this would give their kits luck throughout their life. five moons later, when another storm struck, cougarheart and frozenwhisker suffered hypothermia and died as they had joined a border patrol just before the snow started to fall. blizzardhowl and goatstep were heartbroken, but knew that their parents would want them to persevere. blizzardhowl and goatstep became apprentices the following moon, and were ready to work hard and honor their parents. both excelled in fighting and hunting respectively, and once they became warriors there was buzz among their clanmates that blizzardhowl would make a great future deputy. blizzardhowl then began to test her limits to show off to her clan, and one day the risks she had been taking had finally caught up to her. an avalanche suddenly struck, and blizzardhowl had gotten caught in it. she suffered severe injuries and almost died, but was expected to make a full recovery until the medicine cat realized that her foreleg was indefinitely fractured. blizzardhowl had no choice but to give up her warrior duties and become an elder, but never lost her passion and spirit.

looks goatstep is a large, brawny, handsome long-haired brown tabby tom with yellow eyes and abnormally long hind legs.
personality goatstep can come off as rather serious, but in actuality he is one of the most lovable members of summitclan. he loves spending time with his friends as well as his sister, blizzardhowl. goatstep excels at hunting, and is one of the best in the clan. like his sister, he is a thrill-seeker, but since her injury he no longer tries to outrun avalanches in fear of also getting hurt. goatstep has a heart of gold, and wants blizzardhowl to become a warrior again. so, in order to do that, he brings her on patrols with him almost daily.
