JUDGE SOLARA
The Sun
"Do not be afraid, little one.
The sun will still rise tomorrow morning."
Role
As intimidating as the Judge appears, she is honestly rather sweet. She patiently judges the dead in her court, careful to listen to everyone's words. Although she watches over humans from the sun, she cannot read their thoughts, and she feels it is important to thoroughly know one's motivations before forming any sort of judgement.
She gives plenty of chances for redemption before judging. The residents of the Underworld have behaved so poorly, Solara thought with full honesty they would enjoy themselves better in Empress Rori's kingdom, surrounded with like-minded troublemakers. The Judge quite frankly wants the best for everyone.
In her spare time, Solara occupies herself with quiet hobbies. She is an avid gardener. Although she considers the entire living world her garden, the First Garden is in her kingdom. It is filled with lush plants, most of which do not exist in the living world. The dead are allowed to plant a seed for the dreams they hoped to accomplish in life. Solara likes to turn these broken dreams into something beautiful.
She also likes to knit blankets of warm sunlight for her people. At night, the stars shine because they are wearing Solara's blankets. The Judge loves baking and cooking, and she can do it without the aid of a stove or oven.
Appearance
Solara is genuinely a giant, far too tall and broad to fit through a standard doorframe. Despite her terrifying size and frame, she is incredibly warm and gentle, with a touch careful enough to hold the stems of tiny injured flowers while she ties them to a support stick. She has short black hair that spikes up whenever she removes her crown, a dark warm complexion, and intense russet eyes that are nearly impossible to look into.
Solara has an incredibly deep voice, soft but powerful. She will never raise her voice in the slightest. She speaks warmly and slowly, and she has no issue repeating herself. Although Solara does not interrupt others verbally, she may give you a hug halfway through your sentence if you appear to need one.
Solara is often wearing a long cloak, extending nearly seven feet from her shoulders to her ankles. It is a dark velvet red, and incredibly warm. A grown man could hide by tucking himself away in the soft lengths of her cape.
Solara honestly dislikes wearing armor under her cloak. She finds she looks overly threatening with it. More often, she is wearing hand-knitted garments, made from the same soft sunlit fabric as the blankets she makes. Even though her normal clothes lack the shoulder pads of her armor, people can still sit on her shoulders and rest there. A gentle giant, Solara will be happy to let you.
Personality
Solara is a peacemaker, preferring to listen before she speaks. She is eternally patient. Creative people have attempted to make her lose her temper, saying the worst things imaginable or even trying to assassinate her. These attempts fail miserably and she responds to them with a ridiculous level of motherly concern. She seems unable to form a single angry or violent thought.
The Judge loves humanity, as well as other living things. She likes to comfort others and take care of them. It is said she mends the wings of butterflies using petals from her garden, but she does not pluck the petals, her beloved flowers donate theirs instead. Solara is incredibly careful not to hurt her "children," as she knows her strength and makes sure to keep it in check.
She believes that every human has a kind heart deep inside them. And that with enough patience and love, even the worst person can change. Solara does not like violence or war. She has faith that the humans of Lunara and Helio Village can make peace, because of the compassion innate in humanity. The Judge does believe that everyone is inherently good.
Abilities
The Judge's strength and endurance are oftentimes her first impressions. That, and her warmth. She is known to cook food with the heat from her hands, and attempted murderers have gone away disappointed after their weapons melted uselessly. Although she is capable of instantly incinerating someone who touches her, she refuses to hurt her beloved children of humanity. Hugging her feels comfortably warm and not the slightest bit hot.
Her touch brings a sense of calmness to people, and it seems especially effective when used to pacify aggressive ones. Some believe it's all in your head. They think people lose their will to fight because of the Judge's intense patience. Either way, her hand-knitted blankets of sunlight have the same calming effect.
She also likes to watch the world from the sun, like a mother watching her children play.

ACACIA- THE SHIELD
Goddess of Time
"You say time heals all wounds?
Bet your bottom hourglass I do."
Acacia is the firstborn daughter of the Sun and Moon. At the time of her birth, humankind was created to live in the world, and all humans were immortal. Acacia represented their ever-persisting life, determined and enduring. She was the only deity who could physically enter the living world.
When she fell in love with a human named Sam, at first all was well. Then other humans began to fall in love with each other, and the Sun and Moon decided this love should create something grand. So they created birth, and Amber was born to represent new life. However, soon the villages grew too crowded and life was miserable. To even the balance, they made their last daughter, Zelkova, or death.
Soon it was Sam's turn to meet Zelkova, but Acacia would not allow this. She fought her sister in a test of will and won. As punishment for messing with the circle of life, Acacia was shut up in the sky and forbidden to physically enter the living world again. To this day, the sisters are in a stalemate. Acacia cannot leave; like her sisters and mothers, she is confined to the sky. She can still leave in spirit, like Amber and Zelkova, unseen by the living. This means she can still fight off Zelkova if she were to attempt to take Sam. This ongoing conflict has not stopped for countless generations, and so far, Zelkova has not tried to take Acacia's husband again.
Although the Goddess of Time is deeply rooted in the past, she also has strong hopes for the future. This manifested into two half-blood children of her own- Hope and Grace Brie were literally created from determination and hope. Acacia met her husband on the Mountain that Pierces the Sky and handed over the children, so he would no longer be lonely.
She believes these children will be a great gift to humanity, and they will accomplish something incredible. Not just for humanity, but for their parents separated by life and death. It has been a long time since Acacia has walked the earth. Somehow, she believes her long wait is nearing its close.
Role
The Goddess of Time is not the all-knowing oracle figure you might expect. She is simply the patient one who remembers the past and holds faith in the future. She comes from a time before death, and since then many things have changed, but some things never change. Although humans are mortal, they still hold the undying perseverance instilled in them from their creation.
Sometimes, people will ask Acacia for help. To protect their lost child, to let them recover from a deadly illness, to watch over them on the battlefield. They are really asking her to buy them more time. Although this bargaining may extend their life, due to Zelkova not wanting to fight her eldest sister, sometimes the conditions become so dire, the tormented mortal regrets their choice and wishes Zelkova had taken them instead.
It is said that seeing Acacia in a dream is a message that you must be patient, hang onto your determination and hope through the trials you face. This is pretty accurate. Acacia takes after Solara in terms of unyielding patience.
Appearance
Acacia is a towering woman of six foot, with broad shoulders and a strong frame. She lacks the womanly curves that female humans have. It's ironic because the Goddess of Time absolutely does not have an hourglass figure.
She has long black hair, always kept back in a ponytail. Her eyes are a deep russet like Solara's, but they become brighter and more intense when she is particularly determined. She has a tanned, honey complexion, though not as dark as Solara's.
She has a deep and calm voice, a rough but warm baritone.
Acacia loves to wear armor. Although her mother's cape is a curtain to her, she has a cloak of her own, a brilliant white one that seems to shine like warm sunlight.
Personality
Calm and patient, Acacia never loses her temper even when she fights. She truly loves combat, despite being a relatively peaceful sort of person. Acacia is incredibly determined and protective, and nothing makes her happier than physically defending her loved ones. Unfortunately her imprisonment in the sky prevents her from doing exactly that.
She likes to make terrible jokes, especially ones that make fun of her own self. Her "cooking" is a favored topic to ridicule. Her number-one favorite would have to be her horrible puns concerning fatal injuries. Something like being stabbed through the heart repeatedly will warrant an idiotic comment like, "Hey, I get the point now."
The Goddess of Time likes to remind people that time heals all wounds. Like, literally. She wants humanity to believe in her as their protector, as she's convinced that one day, she will return in the nick of time to beat up some villains and kick their butts all the way back to hell.
Abilities
Acacia has tireless endurance like her parents. Although her strength cannot compare to Solara's, she still has super-strength by human standards. Acacia also likes to blatantly abuse the whole immortality thing. Other than that, she's... literally the most normal goddess around.
Does spear-fighting count? Or making heroic speeches?

PRINCESS ZELKOVA
Goddess of Death
"Don't be afraid of meeting death.
Instead, you should be afraid of never truly living life."
Role
Zelkova is responsible for escorting the dead. Since she is only present in spirit, the living cannot see her. So those spooky stories of Zelkova jumpscares are just stories.
Appearance
The tallest and slimmest of the three sisters, Zelkova stands at a ridiculous height like 6'3", but she barely reaches Mother Solara's shoulders. She has long, silky black hair that falls in light waves to her waist. Zelkova has a graceful stance and long slender legs. Like her Mom Kelly, Zelkova looks incredibly youthful, but her clothing choice would suggest otherwise.
She is very self-conscious about her body, so she covers it up with a long dark cloak that reaches her feet. She will sometimes put up a hood, hiding her hair and most of her face. Zel weaved her cloak out of shadow, like Solara knits blankets made of light.
Zelkova has paler skin than others in her family. It has a warm honey tone like Mother's. Her eyes are a deep, soft russet, almost black.
Personality
The youngest in the family, Zelkova does not like to question her parents or older sisters. She is a rather quiet and sweet type who hates to stir up conflict.
Oftentimes mortals tell stories about the ruthless and murderous Grim Reaper, but Zelkova is honestly a gentle soul. She does not enjoy the heartbreak that death often brings. When people blame her for all their grief and pain, she feels very guilty about it. She hates to take young children away from their parents most of all.
Zelkova likes her peace and quiet, since she is easily stressed out by the conflict of her daily life. Like Solara, Zel loves flowers, and she has her own little garden filled with deadly poisonous plants. Although any of the plants could kill a mortal with ease, the dark moonlit garden itself has a great beauty. Zelkova goes there whenever she's feeling down.
Abilities
Zelkova has endless endurance. The spirits of the dead couldn't run away from her if they tried. Eventually she would catch up to them.
Like Kelly, Zel can control shadows, although her Mom's power would override hers in a standoff. Zelkova has learned to knit using shadow, making clothes and blankets like Judge Solara can. Although, instead of a soft white cloth of sunlight, Zelkova's shadowy creations are a thick black silk.
Zelkova can also induce sleep, or pacify someone by making them sleepier. Others can fight against this, but Zelkova is almost always stronger, able to force them unconscious if she needs to. The exception is with her mothers or sisters.

GENERAL CONLAN UNDERWOOD
God of War
"You can't beat an enemy who never gives up.
So keep fighting, and be that enemy."
Role
Conlan loves to spread rage and aggression into the hearts of mortals. He lives for conflict. Hatred, to him, has different tastes depending on its temperature. Disgust is shallow and flavorless like a thin broth. The cold bitterness of revenge tastes like tree sap not yet boiled into maple syrup. The true appetizer, though, is the raging inferno of uncontrollable fury, red and blinding as it consumes all logic and rational thought.
Humans do not know of General Conlan, but they will soon. After all, their hatred created him and his Empress Rori. When a human prays for vengeance or for an enemy's blood spilled, their wishes reach Conlan. He genuinely tries to help them to strike down the enemy, but his help comes at a cost. A person's very humanity can slowly drain away under his influence, as they forsake compassion for ruthless violence.
He and Rori are currently gathering an army, made of the worst spirits from the Underworld. These people had their souls tainted by Chaos, War, or both. They are promised eternal membership in General Conlan's hellish army if they can conquer and slowly destroy Lunara and Helio Village.
The Crimson Army was named after its leaders. Rori's hair and eyes, Conlan's one blood red eye, and the blood of humanity they both will shed.
Appearance
Standing at six foot exactly, with slick black hair and an athletic physique, Conlan looks the part of an Underworld leader. Although he has no scars to call his own, he will take on the largest physical scar of the living mortal closest to him. Currently, Conlan boasts a jagged gash across his right eye, which is a pale and sickly green. His other eye is a dark red, although it can be mistaken for russet from a distance. It is far less warm and more malevolent, however.
He has an intense glare and a nearly constant frown, but this is replaced by a sharklike grin in battle. He lives for fighting, and everything about him becomes more vibrant. His left eye turns a brilliant blood red, reflecting the grisly scene he leaves behind. Up until now, he has only been able to fight dead people. Soon he and Rori will be able to escape into the living world.
Personality
Brash and aggressive, Conlan lives for the thrill of the fight. He lacks patience for any hobby except war. Conlan has a passion for stirring up conflict, enraging allies and enemies alike. He doesn't care who is fighting or even who wins in the end. As long as the war keeps going, as long as furious determination sends humans clashing against one another in fights to the death, Conlan is contented. He cannot stand peace. He believes that most things are a waste of time, such as art and music. The best art in his opinion is the art of war. The best music is the clash of metal against metal and the enraged battle cries of mortal enemies who hate one another.
Conlan is genuinely helpful to someone, as long as his help creates more conflict. To him, fighting is good for everything. A nonfighting person is good for nothing. He is thoroughly disgusted by cowards and weaklings, although he will tolerate some pacifists if they can hold their own in a true battle. Pacifism without strength is simply weakness to him. But if a peace-loving person turns out to fight well, Conlan will hold respect for them. Though, his greatest respect obviously goes to the most aggressive and vicious people. Those who start fights that are not easily finished.
Abilities
Apart from his ridiculous fighting abilities and seemingly endless athletic abilities, Conlan has one unique power. He can make someone see visions that enrage them, and also visions of violence that seem justified to them. He is the small voice constantly whispering into humans' ears, telling them their enemies must suffer.
He can also generate any weapon he wants. He has begun distributing magical weapons to the Crimson Army. Most of them are elemental; a sword that burns like fire, a spear that shocks the enemy with lightning, and not to mention the freezing arrows that chill enemies' blood and leave them exhausted.
Although he could easily summon a field of blades and slash up all his enemies, this goes against his code. He would rather fight properly, sword against sword, spear against spear, or knife against knife.
