▸rune. ah, bailey. the poor boy cursed with the ability to understand the serene chirping and trilling of avians. simply put, he
understands birds. now, some may think that this is a grand gift to have, being able to understand the songs and chatter of birds.
these people have never heard the incessant gossip of the sparrows from dawn to dusk, or the horrid words spoken in their lovely
calls. it goes without saying that bailey simply hates birds. for a long time, he never spoke of his ability simply because he didn't
think that others couldn't understand the birds, he thought that everyone could and therefore it wasn't worth mentioning.

▸appearance. bailey is a brunette boy standing at a respectable height of 5'6, with a fairly average build, not particularly lithe,
nor particularly stocky. he has near-black brunette hair and similarly shaded brown eyes. bailey is, for the most part,
unblemished, save for his constellations of dark moles on his face, arms, legs, and torso.

▸presentation. bailey is one to be very picky with his wardrobe, choosing only the most comfortable and highest quality
clothes he can find for a decent price. typically, he chooses more natural colors rather than bright, vibrant colors. not
particularly drab, but you certainly won't spot him in a vibrant pink number. if he were to be described as having a
certain style, it would likely be defined as "preppy".

▸personality. bailey has a very serene temperament, seldom annoyed by anything--unless, of course, that thing is birds. he has
a very breezy, carefree mindset and certainly isn't one to overthink a situation, rather, he would be more likely to oversimplify a
situation. he is generally soft spoken and subtle, not one for conflict. bailey seems to enjoy the little things and tries to find the
good in everything, though he isn't unrealistic with this optimism. he knows when he hopes for too much and always makes sure
to check himself before he sets himself towards a goal. however, with his meek mind, he seldom sticks to his goals anyway, instead
choosing to undermine his own ability and setting his own expectations lower and lower so that they can be met with minimal effort.

▸rune. sawyer's ability is one that she, and her mother, noticed fairly early in her life. after all, when some kids have bruises
for a week and your own bruises disappear within the same day, anyone would be at least somewhat curious. to give a name
to her rune, she simply has an enhanced healing factor. not "regenerate body parts" enhanced, but "papercut healed within a few
minutes" enhanced. essentially, her body can heal anything a normal human's body can, just... faster. this doesn't make her
invulnerable to infections and disease, however, as her immune system itself isn't strengthened, only her healing ability.

▸appearance. a dirty blonde figure with lightly tanned skin, sawyer has a rather lithe figure, standing at a height of roughly 5'8.
her hair is naturally waved and reaches just below her chin in a bob-length cut. her skin is largely unblemished excepting
a minor scar on both the palm and back of her hand, the remains of her experimenting as a teenager about just how far
she could push her healing ability. many describe her eye color as recycle bin blue.

▸presentation. sawyer has a very artsy style, per say. she likes unusual pieces and trinkets with a vintage look and feel to them.
they love to mix and match prints, and are a graphic-tee aficionado. a staple that she pairs with nearly every outfit is a pair
of extremely faded, once-red-but-now-brownish buck leather persephone doc martens from her grandmother, who claims to have
come across the rare, once-popular shoes whilst going through her attic, which contains relics from previous generations such as
the Millennials and Generation Z received from now-deceased relatives such as sawyer's great-great grandparents.

▸personality. sawyer has an extremely analytical, practical way of thinking. she is very curious and is always looking to further
enrich herself. throughout her years, she has gone through various different phases and hobbies. from carpentry to gardening,
painting to cooking, she always has to be busy with something and seldom has any free time. she is a very dignified, graceful
being and does everything to the best of her ability, even if she has no idea how to do it. sawyer would much rather try a
million times and figure something out on her own than ask for help and do it right the first time. this stubborn, head-strong
side of her can be taken as both a good and a bad thing, depending on the eye of the beholder.

↳ His mother was the alien half of his genetics who married his father and brought to this
world two hybrid children. Hiroaki and his younger sister, Hanako, who unfortunately fell
ill at the age of six and passed away at eight years old. The death of the greatly adored
little girl hit the family hard, especially the remaining child who was nine at the time and
missed his sister while feeling how could have done something that just might have helped.
Though he kept his sister in memory and sometimes spoke when alone as if to her, life still
moved along and he had no choice but to follow after. He got decent grades in school, fell
in and out of the odd thing called love, made friends and lost some, got in trouble and had
fun with it. He willingly volunteered to move to the new planet since while he lived a good
and relatively easy life, Hiroaki didn't feel like he had much of a future down here on Earth.
