➳name; Geralt of Rivia, also known as 'The Witcher', and 'The White Wolf'.
    ➳age; 104, but he appears 37.
    ➳gender; Male
    ➳sexuality; Hetero
    ➳crush; None
    ➳role; Slayer
    ➳fandom; The Witcher

    ➳hair; Whitish-gray
    ➳eyes; Bright, slitted golden
    ➳skin tone; Pale white
    ➳height; 6'2"
    ➳weight; 170lbs
➳appearance; Geralt would be called quite 'dashing' by most normal women, if not for his unnaturally pale skin, glowing golden eyes, pale white hair, scarred vis- well, you get the picture. A Witcher through and through, Geralt was basically born to be a warrior, and this shows in both his appearance and physique. Lean, yet with a muscular, athletic body, and a gaze and posture that intimidates lesser men within seconds. He generally wears his trusty leather armor.

➳abilities / powers; In addition to superhuman agility, strength, eyesight, and senses, Geralt possesses the ability to utilize Signs - a variety of different magics with different effects, based on the Sign used. Igni, for example, launches a short-ranged, yet intense inferno of fire, setting foes alight and melting most weaponry and armor. Along with this, Geralt is a master combatant in both close and long ranged combat, as befitting a Witcher of his status. A highly skilled alchemist as well, Geralt possesses numerous different potions and decoctions that grants him different abilities and upgrades, depending on the potion or decoction consumed.
➳weapons; Geralt uses two steel and silver blades, Iris and Aerondight respectively. Both possess magical enhancements, giving them useful abilities to help out in combat. They are also quite beautiful to behold.

➳personality; Independent first and foremost, Geralt does not like to be ordered around or provoked. He can be cold and ruthless to people who are wicked and malevolent, and to those who sees the need to treat him like a servant. He is, by nature, a loner and an outcast, with a ruthless streak that makes him extremely dangerous when provoked. Most of the time, he can be apathetic, cynical, and threatening. Despite his outwardly cool/cold nature, behind his exterior hides a fiercely loyal friend, a man of good - if dry humour, and a giver of sound advice. He is also very protective of said his friends and companions, and is willing to go to great lengths for those who matter to him. He can be kind-hearted and caring to the people he loves, although this side of him is rarely seen by strangers. Unless morals are involved. He freaking hates morals, but he can't help but attempt to help someone if his heart wants to.

If they're willing to pay afterwards, even better.

Geralt is also known to be extremely adept at allaying intense, and at times bleak, situations, and as a man who would much sooner have everyone return home than draw their swords, the 'White Wolf' is extremely quick and sharp in his decision making, whether it be to slay yet another man or beast, or attempt to talk them down. His experience of almost a century in the world makes him a world-weary Witcher, often expressing disdain and circuitous insults to those he considers cruel, foolish, or downright stupid. It also makes him someone who isn't afraid to speak his mind, for better or for worse.

➳other; Believe it or not, Geralt has had many intimate trysts in the past, despite his intimidating appearance.

name. edward elric aka. the fullmetal alchemist
gender. cis male age. 15
fandom. fullmetal alchemist role. slayer

personality.on the surface, Edward displays an immature sort of personality. he is decidedly stubborn and strong-willed, frequently letting his pettiness and vindictiveness get the better of him. he is somewhat selfish and self-absorbed, generally acting more out of self-interest than any sort of philanthropy as well as taking several opportunities to stroke his own ego or flaunt the governmental power and monetary license of his military position. edward is also rather quick-tempered, resorting more often to steel-fisted violence than calm negotiation to settle disputes.

history. edward lived with his mother, his father and his younger brother alphonse. when he was very young, his father abandoned his family. his father was a skilled alchemist and his books taught edward and alphonse. it was just alphose, edward and his mother for a while. one day, alphonse and edward came home to their mother dead on the floor. wanting more than ever to get their mother back, edaward and aphonse decided to try and recreate her; a human transmutation. instead of creating their mother, they created a monster and just creating it wasn't even enough. the transmutation made edward loose his right arm and left leg. alphonse lost his whole body. a colonel heard about the transmutation and came to edward, offering him to become a state alchemist. he took it and now is the full metal alchemist.

powers.despite Edward's small stature and young age, he is a remarkable combatant. as suggested by his unprecedented acceptance into the state alchemist program at such a remarkably young age, edward elric is an alchemical prodigy of genius level intellect. from early childhood, he displayed proficiency for alchemy, acquiring self-taught alchemy skills and comprehension from the advanced literature in his father's abandoned study at an age that shocked even his mother. having incorporated alchemy into his life during his developmental stages, edward sees the world alchemically and is therefore able to solve complicated codes, puzzles and mysteries much more easily than normal. edward became one of the few alchemists who do not require a drawn transmutation circle to perform alchemical transmutations. by merely touching his palms together, he creates an energy circulation with his arms and transmutes by using his own will as a substitute for the necessary runes. this remarkable talent makes his transmutations both instantaneous and incredibly versatile, allowing him to use alchemy to its fullest potential in direct combat.

The Nerevarine

Postby Wormgod » Tue Feb 27, 2018 3:48 pm

((Sorry about the length in Ashirah's form. Morrowind is a lore-heavy game, so many things need explained. To help, I put a TL;DR on abilities.))

    ➳name; Ashirah
    ➳age; 300. Physically mid-twenties.
    ➳gender; Female
    ➳sexuality; Bisexual, prefers men.
➳crush; N/A, for now. Keeps away from romance for personal reasons.
    ➳role; Slayer
    ➳fandom; Elder Scrolls III, Morrowind.
➳race; Dunmer, or Dark Elves. Literal translation: "Cursed Ones". They hail from the volcanic province of Morrowind in Tamriel. Their eyes and skin reflect the fiery land they inhabit.

    ➳hair; Copper
➳eyes; Red pupils and black sclera.
    ➳skin tone; Deep gray-blue
    ➳height; 5'2"
    ➳weight; 165
➳appearance; Ashirah is an intimidating woman. Like all Mer, or elves, she has pronounced brows and deep set, almond shaped eyes. Despite her diminutive size, the battle-scars and near-constant frown reflect her power. She is almost always in her battle armor: a ceremonial set of Indoril armor. Outside of combat she forgoes the helmet so her face is visible.

➳abilities / powers; Ashirah is a Dunmer and the Nerevarine. Dunmer, like all elven races, have a natural affinity for magic. They also have a strong resistance to heat, fire, ash, and fire-based magic. Ashirah has training in Alchemy, the study of magical properties in plants and animals, and extracting those properties in potions. She is also trained in using enchanted items, wearing medium armor, and fighting with a longsword.

Ashirah is the Nerevarine, the reincarnation of a long-dead saint, king, and general named Nerevar Indoril. She followed the path as prophesied by the Daedra Azura and told in oral history by the Ashlanders, native Dunmer who still follow the tribal ways. She fulfills all the aspects of the prophecy, including wearing moon-and-star, a ring enchanted for Nerevar by Azura herself. Anyone besides Nerevar who wear it will die instantly. To fulfill the prophecy, she was also infected with Corpus; a zombie-like disease spread by Dagoth Ur. Normally, to get Corpus is to suffer as tumors and madness slowly grow, but death evades as those with Corpus are rendered immortal. Ashirah has Corpus, but symptoms were removed by a powerful wizard. However, she is immortal in that she stopped aging. Corpus also fights other diseases, so unless she gets another magical disease, she can't get sick.

She serves as the Hortator of the few dozen Dunmer that escaped the wrath of the beasts.

    TL;DR:
Dunmer: resistant to heat, fire, ash, and fire magic
    Trained in Alchemy/potion-making
    Trained in using enchanted objects.
Trained in longswords. Uses a sword that's on fire all the time.
Trained in medium armor. Wears a suit of Indoril armor.
Has Corpus, a magical disease that makes her ageless and immune to all but other magical diseases.
Has moon-and-star, a magical ring that proves her identity as the reincarnation of Nerevar Indoril.
Is a Hortator, the Dictator/General for the few dozen Dunmer that fled the beasts.

➳weapons; Ashirah wields Trueflame, Nerevar's personal sword. It's a flaming curved longsword. It is always on fire. It doesn't ignite its wielder. She uses it as a torch sometimes.

➳personality; Ashirah is a little spitfire. She grew up poor and a criminal, untrusting of everyone, especially guards, authority figures, and the wealthy. She is blunt, unforgiving, and entirely willing to use violence to help the remaining Dunmer; hence her position as a Slayer. After all, she is trained in combat. She can help her people that way, instead of hiding behind the forcefield.
She takes her responsibility to the remaining Dunmer very seriously: she puts their wellbeing on her shoulders and does not share that burden with anyone else. This means she is constantly carrying a lot of stress, and is not good at coping with it. She does it because she has to: she is the sole sovereign authority for their race as Hortator, and Hortators serve until Morrowind is in peacetime again. Her word, literally, is law, and that means their needs come before hers.

➳History; Ashirah was born in Cyrodil, the province of Imperials, a race of Men. She was born an orphan and grew up being passed from orphanage to orphanage, and eventually the streets. She stole to feed herself. Eventually she was caught and thrown in prison for theft. Unbeknownst to her, Emperor Septim had been watching the growing unrest in the province of Morrowind and was worried. There, Dagoth Ur, the devil of the local religion, was growing in power. This was bad, as in the world of Tamriel, faith directly contributed to the power of the gods. Dagoth ur growing in power meant he had more worshippers, which meant less power for the Tribunal, which could snowball into worshippers turning on the Three (Tribunal) to Dagoth Ur and feeding his power. If left unchecked, his influence could spread Corpus--his Divine Disease--and madness all over Tamriel. The Emperor had read of the Nerevarine Prophecies, and found a possible solution to the worrying political and religious unrest. With a convincing enough fake, the unrest may end. Luckily, his prisons held a convincing fake.

Ashirah was taken out of prison and forcibly removed to Morrowind. There, she worked under an Imperial spy to learn more about the Nerevarine Prophecies, the locals input on them, and the like. As she adjusted to life in Morrowind, she joined the Tribunal Temple. These living gods, whom walked among their people, struck her as much more honest than the ones the Imperials worshipped. She quickly became a devout and spent her days either working for the spy, attending sermons, or volunteering with the Temple. She took the Pilgrimage to holy sites all over Morrowind, following in the steps of Vivec, the Warrior-Poet and main god of the Three. She even stepped inside the Ghostfence, a gigantic magical wall around Red Mountain that contained the blight storms that Dagoth Ur creates. The longer she lived in Morrowind, the more odd dreams she had. Disturbing dreams, almost like flashes of memory. A few left her waking up covered in sweat and screaming. At first she would be talking to a familiar Dunmer she never met, and then he would turn to face her and suddenly he was wearing a golden mask.
For some reason, that terrified her. When she woke, she remembered that Dagoth Ur wears a golden mask.

But eventually Ashirah had to learn what the Imperials wanted to use her for. The spy showed her his orders; that the Emperor planned to use her as a convincing fake for this old religious prophecy. She was shocked and offended: offended that the Emperor was willing to meddle in his people's religion (after all, it isn't his religion, so why should he care?) and shocked that, she oddly fits the prophecies well. She had heard of the Nerevarine Prophecies before, but the Temple denounces them as superstition, and she was even tasked to convince one madman that he wasn't Nerevar reborn.

But she worked with the spy even more, going to the Ashlander tribes to see if she could fit into the prophecies. There she took orders from the last wise woman that preaches the prophecies, and she further filled them. She encountered Corpus, convinced the tribes to recognise her as Nerevarine, convinced the Great Houses to call her Hortator, and united all of Morrowind again, this time against Dagoth Ur and his "Sixth House" cultists. At this point Ashirah had a bit of a breakdown. After all, she just became a devout and then learned that her religion was all based on a lie and the living gods were simply greedy, powerful people who were afraid of her and her past life. And on top of this, she was having all these new memories and feelings from her past life as a man and that was very hard to wrap her head around.

Eventually it came time for her to gather Kagrenac's Tools and fix what was left unfinished thousands of years ago: the end of the Heart of Lorkhan. She met with Vivec in his palace, and he told her the real history of Morrowind, of what he and the Tribunal tried to do for their people, of how Nerevar really died, and of his plans to destroy the Heart and defeat Dagoth Ur's legions and end the curse on Morrowind. He gave her one of the tools and told her the locations of the other two (deep in the heart of Red Mountain, of course). And then he spoke to her as if she was Nerevar, and said he was sorry. And she spoke back, as Nerevar, and the two talked as old friends. Ashirah left, both more disillusioned and composed than before.

Ashirah gathered the tools from the various fortresses and finally lay a one-man siege to Dagoth Ur, the main base of (you guessed it) Dagoth Ur. There she found that the crazed man was busy building his own god, Akulakhan, which he planned to use to drive away all the non-Dunmer and take over the world. It was half finished, a lower half and some exposed ribs, with the Heart of Lorkhan nestled inside, beating magic into it. The whole chamber was open to the magma under Red Mountain, just a few hundred feet below. Ashirah lead the man on a chase around the crater, then doubled back and quickly used the tools on the Heart, beating it over and over until it broke away from the mortal plane, presumably flying back to the dead god. Without his source of power, Dagoth Ur was now mortal, and she finished him in a long, bloody battle. Ashirah fled the magma chamber as the pieces of Akulakhan fell into the lava, threatening to flood the whole place. Azura was waiting at the exit and congratulated Ashirah and Nerevar for finally finishing their duty--at least, this one.

But now, she had to lead the Dunmer through the tenuous time away from their false gods and back to the old ones. Luckily, Ashirah remembered Nerevar's experience with politics, so she wasn't exactly clueless, but she brought her own brand of stubbornness and violence abrasion.

And then the beasts attacked, and a small group of Dunmer followed her to wherever this place is.

Nerevar's History, and the History of the Tribunal:
To be referenced, but not required to know.

Nerevar rose to power by uniting all the Chimer tribes and fighting the invading Nords--a race of Men, or human-like people. By uniting them, he secured himself a throne and saved his people from extinction. In the process, Nerevar united the Chimer with the underground dwelling Dwemer (Dwarves) and secured an uneasy friendship between their people. Nerevar served as king, founded his own Great House (a sort of political party/branch of government), House Indoril, and made Morrowind (at the time called Resdayn) a player on the world stage.

The alliance with the Dwemer was tenuous at best. The Dwemer were a secular race who prided themselves in learning about the universe through dangerous and blasphemous means. The Chimer were heavily religious. They practiced ancestor worship and followed some of the Daedric Princes--god-like immortal beings who mettled with mortals. The alliance between the Dwemer and Chimer fell onto King Nerevar and King Dumac's personal friendship. Nerevar, a champion of the Daedric Prince Azura, was shocked and betrayed when he learned through spies that the Dwemer were mettling in blasphemy he could not ignore: experimenting on the Heart of Lorkhan (the literal Heart of a Daedric Prince named Lorkhan, who "died" while creating the universe). The Heart was deep inside Red Mountain, a volcano. Dumac and the head mage-engineer or "Tonal Architect" Kagrenac planned to use the Heart to create Numidium, a colossal golem. What Numidium was to serve as was lost to history. Possibly a god for the Dwemer, or to transcend the mortal plane, or just to prove creating a god was possible.

This, of course, started a war between the Dwemer and Chimer. It was a long and bloody war, but through cunning strategy, the outnumbered and outgunned Chimer won. The epic climax came at the base of Red Mountain, with Nerevar, his wife Ayem, his mentor and mage Seht, his fellow student Vehk, and his most beloved servant Voryn Dagoth participated in the battle. During the battle, Kagrenac attempted to use the tools to quickly finish his work, and messed up. Instantly, all the Dwemer on the mortal plane disappeared. Nerevar was wounded during the battle, but after "winning", he took his Council (all those people from before, minus Voryn) into Red Mountain to destroy the blasphemy and prevent it from ever happening again. What they found was a set of tools created to interact with the Heart and copious notes on how to "tune" it to draw power. The tools were impossible to destroy by normal means. Nerevar instructed his Council and servant to guard the tools while he left Red Mountain to go be a king again. He returned a short while later to find that, not only had all of his trusted friends (and wife!) had used the tools, Voryn was corrupted by the power and refused to give them up. The five faced off and Voryn, who declared himself Dagoth Ur and a god, fled. Nerevar died from his wounds. With Nerevar gone, the three remaining council members used the tools to give themselves more power. Ayem became Almalexia. Seht became Sotha Sil. Vehk became Vivec. The three decided to use their powers to help their people, as they were greedy, they also learned to care for their people after serving them for decades.

As the trio left Red Mountain, Azura appeared, furious with her champion's death, with the blasphemy she witnessed, and with the trio. Azura, the god of prophecy, assured them that Nerevar would return to punish them of their perfidy. The new Sotha Sil, always a bit full of himself said, "The old gods are cruel and arbitrary, and distant from the hopes and fears of mer. Your age is past. We are the new gods, born of the flesh, and wise and caring of the needs of our people. Spare us your threats and chiding, inconstant spirit. We are bold and fresh, and will not fear you."

At that moment, every Chimer, once golden skinned, turned gray with red eyes. And Azura said, "This is not my act, but your act. You have chosen your fate, and the fate of your people, and all the Dunmer shall share your fate, from now to the end of time. You think yourselves gods, but you are blind, and all is darkness." And she disappeared. The Tribunal was afraid and in darkness, but they went to their people. Sotha Sil spoke to them and said their new skin was a sign of their changed nature, of being "new Mer" (elves) who do not tremble before spirits but speak directly to their immortal patrons and gods. And thus the Tribunal was born. Later, Vivec wrote a series of sermons and rewrote history to say that the Tribunal were born as gods, and that Nerevar served them instead of the other way around. Nerevar and many other important historical Chimer became saints in the religion, like in modern Catholicism. And in time, all but the Tribunal (and possibly Divayth Fyr, a five thousand year old wizard) forgot the real history, until Vivec told Ashirah.

➳other; Ashirah often talks, thinks, or responds as if she is Nerevar. These are flashbacks, usually triggered by similar situations or sights to things Nerevar experienced. In these moments, her voice drops an octave and her eyes go unfocused, as if she is in a waking dream.

The Judge, speaking to the Player through the Batter.

➳name; Goes by "The Judge". His real name is Pablo.
    ➳age; Unknown. Adult.
    ➳gender; Male
    ➳sexuality; N/A. Is a cat.
    ➳crush; N/A. Cat.
    ➳role; Ground Troop
    ➳fandom; OFF
➳species; The Judge appears to be a Devon Rex, a breed of cat known for their lack of guard hair and long faces. The lack of longer hairs makes them look very skinny and makes their head and eyes even bigger in proportion. They are often nicknamed "alien cats" because of this.

    ➳hair; White
    ➳eyes; Yellow
    ➳build; Slim
    ➳height; 1'
    ➳weight; 8 pounds.

➳abilities / powers; The Judge, despite appearing to be a cat, can speak English and French eloquently, frequently using big words that go over most people's heads. He can also grin, despite the fact that cats don't have mouths that can form a smile. He is gifted in battle, using "special" attacks (kinda like special attack in Pokemon) that are based around Aneurysms and Sclerosis.

➳weapons; His claws, which he uses for his attacks. He can do a lot of damage and inflict status effects, like Muteness, Blindness, Poison, and Palsy. Muteness prevents spells or special attacks from being used, Blindness blinds the foe, Poison does damage over time, and Palsy causes paralysis.

➳personality; The Judge is incredibly smart, if a bit uncaring. He likes to play the 'omniscient quizmaster' role, both in his game and currently. He often responds with a riddle in place of a true response. Like an Earth cat, he prefers to follow his own amusement over what happens in the world around him...sometimes to his own detrement. However, he does care for a few things: his late brother, for example.

➳history; The Judge lived in Zone 0, an uninhabited plane of existence for himself. He was a Guardian, a being of power that runs the Zones. However, his Zone had no one else, so he had little power. One day, a strange being came: a puppet being controlled by an otherworldly being. The puppet spoke and said the being holding his strings was helping him fulfill his "holy mission" to "purify the Zones". The Judge had seen the corruption and pain in the Zones, and assumed this holy man was going to help the Elsen and the other Guardians. He taught the stranger how to fight--as the Spectres were spreading around the Zones and attacked anyone, and maybe this ghostly being that inhabited the puppet could drive them away--and lead them on their way.

Little did he know, that puppet was going to kill all the Guardians and drive the Zones into nothingness. Pure, white, nothingness. Back to the nothingness the Zones first sprung from. Along the way, the puppet killed his brother, Valerie, who was being controlled by Japhet, a Guardian who was accidentally eaten by the cat. Japhet sprang out of Valerie during the fight, and both died. Blinded with grief, The Judge ignored everything as the Zones were destroyed one by one, until the puppet found his way to the Room and attacked the Queen and Hugo. The Judge confronted the puppetmaster and begged them to release their puppet and aid him in defeating the evil. The Player did, and they and the Judge defeated the Batter. But everything was already gone, destroyed by the Batter's purifying power.

The beasts had nothing to attack when they came. The Judge left through the holes in the world they created and found his way to the others, and the forcefield. With nothing else to do, he decided to join their forces. After all, he was an unusually small troop, and could take a lot more than something his size usually could (He took a bat pretty well). With his tiny stature, a battlefield was easy to traverse, and if needed he could hop onto people's shoulders.

➳other; He is very proud of his soft fur. He likes to bathe in products to keep it that way. He does it because his brother was a model, frequently for hair products.

➳history; Cloudrunner is the prince of a place known as the Aether Kingdom...or, at least he was before the beasts came. His family thought they'd be safe when the monsters began to ravage the surface, that their kingdom among the clouds would keep them out of harms way. Unfortunately their hopes were in vain, in the end Cloudrunner lost his home, parents, and friends to the hands of their assailants. How he survived? ➳height; 5' 8 when standing straight in her reverted form. 8' 2 when standing straight in her shifted form

➳abilities / powers; Shapeshifting into a hawk (rough size in comparison to the average human when shifted aka about the size of a Siberian Tiger)
➳weapons; Talons, Beak, and brute force if needed. Though she knows basic hand-to-had combat such as kicks, punches, and how to block with her arms, she's still pretty much defenseless if not shifted.

➳personality; Protective, friendly, and caring. She will guard her allies with her life, striking down those that threaten them or the world without mercy. Those that see her as defenseless since he has no weapons when reverted are quickly corrected by her talons pinning them to the ground. ➳history; Three years after a battle that nearly led to the destruction of the world Holly awoke with amnesia within a place known as Serenaes Forest under the care of the Hawk and Raven Kings, as well as the Heron Prince and Princess, her only memories her name, what she was, and basic fighting tactics. Over the next two years she met many old friends of her caretakers and grew close to the prince, falling in love. When the beasts attacked Holly became separated from her friends and those she'd come to call family. She does not know if they survived the raid or not but she hopes that some day they'll all meet again, even if it is in death.

    ➳other;
    * Holly's necklace holds a rare gem known as a Laguz Gem; it is what allows her to shift at any time.
    * Humans where she lives are known as Beorc and the word "human" is used by Laguz to insult the race. Seeing as the two races have come to a time of understanding and peace with each other for the most part, Holly prefers not to use the word. However, she is not opposed to doing so if an individual prefers to be called as such.
    * She fears permanently damaging or loosing her wings
