    @ashiido
    !!! welcome back ashiido!! you've been dearly missed! we've moved on from the usj event, and currently we are doing a beach event! in this beach event, not much stands out, besides the water gun war sayuri is [trying] to wage upon bakugou. aside from that? everyone is pretty much doing their own thing.
    we have some new members since you've last been here! all very talented ones, might i say.

    the rp has slowed down a bit since most members have gone back to school, so there's no rush in being too active here. if we're not in school, we are either suffering at work, going through some health issues, or anything in between or under the sun, so there's no expectation from anyone here to frequently write! just a psa to everyone <3

    @newt
    im sorry to hear that hun. i hope school isn't being too stressful. i hope you can come to any of us here for help with anything, should you need it <3

    @toon
    do you understand the suffering we all went through,,

    @espeon
    okay, good to know! i was just curious, since i tend to refer to everyone's characters ooc with their given name, but i know not everyone does that! [i.e., with tonomi, he's just kinda. tomo. instead of suzuki LMAO]

    i agree! i like to let the interactions say for themselves how characters feel about each other and let relationships grow that way. though, sometimes it is nice to have predetermined stuff! a little bit of each isn't too bad. and i feel you about all the characters! a few other members and i did mass relations posts [like toon did recently] for our characters towards everyone elses' and it was...hell. actual hell LMAO

    and that's fair! ringo doesn't really. get along. with those identifying as female anyways skjsKJKJS out of choice, not because he dislikes them-he has very specific. desires. when it comes with interacting with people,,
    he's a nasty boy but i really love him so LMAO i hope you grow to enjoy him at least a fraction as i do,,airi is looking like an interesting character!! i can't wait to read more posts you write for her!

♡ noya karuma [のや かるま] ♡ unknown ♡ may 13th [?] ♡ bigender [afab] ♡ he/him ♡
♡ bisexual biromantic ♡ "amaranth" ♡ immortality ♡ 158cm ♡ 1-b [villain] ♡

♡ personality ♡

    xxxxxxxxkaruma's mostly a hypomaniac, his energy levels being overly high, and he typically behaves in a buoyant manner, where he is overly animated, over-expressive, scattered, and otherwise 'manic'. he puts on a front of optimism and hope, and is confident not in the quality of his work, but in his efficiency and ability to work for hours on end, never giving way to fatigue. his time management and scattered thought process leads everything to chaos if he is left to his own devices, projects, plans, and anything in between slipping through the cracks due to his inability to focus on any one thing for a longer period of time. what he needs in his life is guidance from other people to keep his head out of the clouds and help him focus on tasks at hand, as if he is left to do things on his own, while they may get done, the main topic would've gotten lost along the way, and otherwise wouldn't be very substantial in the long run of things. excitable and zealous, he is restless and active, rash, and easily worked up. karuma is humorous and witty, though perhaps in the more darker side of things, though few people would ever recognize this hypomania as an unconscious defense mechanism to cover up and ward off the nagging fears of depression that follows him wherever he goes. while cheery and entertaining, he is extremely reckless when it pertains to himself, and doesn't have much care for his own safety or well being. part of this is because he doesn't think he should worry about himself, that he is the last person anyone, including himself, should worry about. another part is because of his quirk, where he's well aware that if he didn't like an injury he sustained, he could end his own life to fix it, or if the reckless thing he did ends up in his own death, it wouldn't be too terrible, because he'd come back after a little bit of regeneration. karuma truly doesn't see the point in worrying over himself, and this doesn't stem from very many negative thoughts, more so because he sees it as a waste of energy. when most people get hurt, they have to wait for it to heal, and when most people die, they don't come back. for him, it is different, so he gladly will shift any and all concern directed towards him to someone else, as he genuinely doesn't see the point in anyone bothering with him. he simply enjoys the adrenaline near-death or actual death experiences give him, the pump of serotonin whenever he gets hurt or dies almost addicting, and he goes to great lengths to do new and exciting things to test his limits and see all the different ways he could 'die' and feel this all too fleeting euphoria. he is known to frequently overuse his quirk due to this destructive behavior, but he genuinely doesn't see a problem in it. if he has a quirk, why not use it, no? his optimism and hope is more so for other people. he doesn't hold much for himself, but in this state, his attention is too scattered for him to focus on the negative aspects of his thoughts, and thus he doesn't feel too bad about it, just a shrug and a 'oh well! that sucks! lol' sort of feeling. generally, though, instead of encouraging people [unless he particularly feels they need the encouragement] he is in a constant state of teasing and making playful quips at people. his tongue is actually rather sharp, and he can speak the meanest words with the softest, happiest smile on his face. does he mean these words? is he being rude, or just playing? one will never know, because his playful manner is near identical to his passive aggressive behavior. people often go years thinking that karuma hates them, only to find out that he actually adores them, and vice versa. he is, in the truest sense of the word, an ass, his nasty grin betraying the cute, innocent aura that he radiates. he can be sweet, if given the chance, though he is what one would call a 'bad person', using people to his advantage and having a hard time empathizing, at least in this state.
    though, his hypomania has to end at some point. during this period of time, he is in a depressive mode. when he hits this mode, he hits it hard, and sinks to essentially rock bottom, where he is unable to pick himself back up in any shape or form. this is where his scattered thoughts come to an end, and he is able to focus again, though without the energy, he is unable to think about anything substantial, and is usually left to the negative swarm that had been cultivating over the last few months of his mania. this is where he begins to drown, sucked into this whirlpool of hatred, where he broods and ferments in the tar that is his mentality, too heavy and sticky for him to remove himself on his own. bogged down by the weight, all his energy is drained, and opposite to his mania episodes, where he hardly sleeps, now is when he never stops sleeping, sometimes passing out for days at a time. he doesn't have the will or desire to do much of anything, and he tends to not take care of himself, sometimes going so far as to let himself 'die' of starvation and dehydration [to which, he would reincarnate and come back 'cured'] because he just couldn't be bothered to help himself. his empathy levels skyrocket during his depression phase, to the point where he very distinctly and heavily feels the emotions of other people, and thus becomes rather overemotional and can be found frequently crying over seemingly unimportant things. he also becomes very nasty in this state, becoming very mean and snappy with people around him, attacking others for no known or visible reason other than the fact that he's irritated and doesn't feel too well. pain from physical wounds he handles rather well, laughs over them actually, or dismisses them, but psychological pain really puts him on edge, to the point where he feels constantly judged and attacked, and will lash out if given the slightest of chances. like a cornered, wounded wolf, while it may seem best to leave him alone during this time, this is actually when he needs companionship the most. he gets destructive in this state, and not in the fun, serotonin-releasing way like he does during his manic episodes. as harsh and disgusting in personality he can be when upset, he needs at least someone to tolerate him and offer their shoulder so that he knows he isn't alone, and has an outlet should he need to release any of the pent up emotions that had built over the months he wasn't paying attention.

♡ quirk description ♡

    xxxxxxxximmortality is exactly as it says. it renders the user completely unable to die by natural means. this includes old age, any kind of wounds, suffocation, starvation/dehydration, removal of organs, poison, venom, pretty much any way a person could die, karuma is unable to die by that means. this means that someone with immortality could essentially live forever, and end up floating in space by themself once the planet inevitably combusts on itself and disintegrates. there are speculations that there are ways to kill someone with immortality. all thoughts about 'unnatural' ways to kill someone aside, a very real possibility would have to include someone with a quirk that can halt or deactivate other quirks. if karuma's quirk was deactivated while he was dying, and he died with his quirk deactivated, there is a chance that he could remain permanently dead. another possibility would require someone to halt the regeneration ability that comes with immortality. if karuma is unable to regenerate important organs, after a while, there is a chance that he could also remain dead. these are all theories, however, seeing as karuma is still alive and not dead.
    immortality works by excessive regeneration of the body. once the body shuts down, regeneration activates, and the cells in his body begin to repair each other and form together to fix whatever damage had been wrought upon him. this can do simple things such as heal slash wounds, and do large scale things, such as form entirely new organs or limbs. this extension of his quirk makes karuma a perfect organ and blood donor, seeing as he could offer up everything he has and will just grow new ones once he dies. contrary to popular belief, his organs and severed body parts do not disintegrate or disappear once new ones are formed, so he could essentially constantly produce new, healthy hearts and be the worlds best organ donor. this, by extension, means that if his head is severed, his body will simply grow a new one, leaving karuma to be greeted with his old head. there are drawbacks to constantly having to make new organs and limbs, however. do it too much in too short of a time, and the body part in question could become very, very weak and frail. a new formed body part is never as strong as the one lost, and it takes time for it to catch up to where the previous one was. if a new heart keeps having to be made, this drawback could lead to an arrhythmia or a malfunction in the heart's ability to pump blood and keep the body alive. this would eventually fix itself on its own once given time to recover, and the new heart would be just as strong, if not stronger, as the previous heart[s], but there would be a period of time when karuma would be weakened.
    using immortality too much and too often could lead to some very serious drawbacks. of course, karuma would never actually die, hence his quirk, but it could entirely make his life a living hell. dying too much too often does a hefty load of psychological damage. it's not natural for a human being not being able to die, and despite quirks being a regular part of society and human genetics, the brain cannot handle the pressure and realization that it truly would never be able to be put to rest, and could lead to some very undesirable disorders and damage to the psyche. it can also lead to severe memory loss, where the user starts to forget sections of their memory from before their last death. continuing to abuse it despite already experiencing the memory loss could result in permanent memory issues, leaving the user unable to remember current events and happenings, and reduced to someone essentially with dementia. eventually, the memory loss would subside, should the user live long enough [i.e., someone with an appropriate quirk killing them, or attempting to] for enough of their cells to regenerate and 'remove' the handicap, but by that time, the user would not be surrounded by their initial or usual social group, and would have to restart their life and begin anew.
    immortality by subsequence allows what is practically eternal youth, where the user looks young forever. this is the case seeing as the user cannot die from old age, and thus cannot grow old. after about the second decade of initial life, the user stops growing and showing signs of growth, sort of like a vampire or demigod. this makes it hard to guess karuma's age, and also hard for karuma to know his own age. someone with immortality that also has experienced memory loss may completely lose track of their age, and will never again accurately know how 'old' they are.

♡ history ♡

    xxxxxxxxkaruma has a very vivid memory of his life from his time as a toddler to around his days as an early teenager. he was initially thought to be quirkless, since there was no for sure way to know if his quirk had developed or not. his parents had quirks that were unrelated to immortality, immortality being a recessive, genetic mutation of sorts, so they were all looking for the wrong signs, and as a young child, was given the idea that he was quirkless, and that is how he lived his life. it festered a lot of resentment for the world, seeing as kids would tease and make fun of him for it, and any hero he had the opportunity to ask if he could become one if he worked hard enough would shut him down and tell him to try to come up with a new dream. he was never given the encouragement he deserved, and that sent him to a dark place, so that by the time he was a young teenager, he tried to end it himself. that is where he discovered his quirk. it took a few attempts, research, and critical thinking for him to slowly understand what was happening, and while that should've brought him happiness, it simply brought more anger and hatred. he would rather be quirkless than given the ability to never die. after this, he doesn't remember much. he remembers becoming much more reckless than he typically was. karuma wasn't a good kid by any means, and he participated in a lot of dumb, probably illegal activities even as a young teenager, and he assumes that somewhere down the line, he pushed himself too far, and a lot of his memory was erased from that time. after that skip, he remembers waking up in someone's house. they were a villain, who had found him and decided to take him in. during the years that he spent with this person [he could never find his family again. they moved out of their house and he could never find any contact info on them. people didn't even seem to know their names, despite them being rather popular in the neighborhood from last he remembered] he took on a new name [he couldn't remember what his name was, aside from his family name, but he dropped that in favor of naming himself after the person he currently lives with] and they raised him into the life of criminality, which he was already rather familiar with. he already had some bitterness towards the world from previous events, and it didn't take long to become enamored by the league of villains once he found out about them. figuring they would be entertaining and give him the adrenaline rushes that he so desperately craved, he flocked to them, where he enrolled himself in yuuei for their sake, despite all the complaints in the world. he wasn't even sure if he was of the proper age, considering he didn't and still doesn't know how much time had passed during his blackout, and has no idea how old he is properly, but considering he still looks young and not even of his second decade, it is assumed he is of high school age. or, rather, hopefully he is. he still lives with the person who took him in, and he regards them as an older sibling, one of the few people he thinks fondly of.

♡ appearance ♡

    xxxxxxxxface claim is sakasaki natsume from ensemble stars. karuma is on the shorter side of genetics, standing only at 158 centimeters [five foot two], and his body type is more lean and slender than most. stocky in the shoulders, but the rest of his body, including the slight curve at his waist and small hands with delicate fingers are rather feminine. he appears young, at youngest being mid-teens [fifteen] and at oldest late teens [nineteen]. his hair is a bright crimson red with a white underside and white strands speckled about. the left side is much longer, flawlessly transitioning from short to near-shoulder length. his longest strands have a slight curl to them, suggesting his hair might be curly if it were longer. his fringe is uneven and oddly cut, one section being much longer and more prominent than the rest. karuma's eyes are a glittering soft golden yellow, naturally more narrow and sharp angled. his skin is pale and covered in a combination of nasty, gnarly scars from his various encounters [most of them from 'fatal' wounds] and some tattoos, which depicts lots of colorful flowers. he has no particular dressing style, his wardrobe very confusing, eccentric, and all over the place. he wears what he wants, whenever he wants. his clothes vary from deep cybergoth, soft harajuku, and very simplistic styles [such as, graphic t-shirts, flannel, and jeans].
    his appearance in terms of 'body decoration' changes a lot, since he reincarnates rather frequently. while most fatal wounds do not scar, sometimes his quirk has a communication error, and creates scar tissue instead of normal tissue. if the scarred area is fatally damaged again, unless the quirk makes the same error, the tissue with be created normally, essentially 'erasing' the scar. any and all body modifications that get damaged [and healed, if the wounds are not healed and he dies] will revert back to their normal state, meaning that if his tattoos get damaged, his skin will be created as if he never had a tattoo, erasing it from his skin. holes from piercings close if they are damaged or fresh, and body modifications will be reversed. any sort of body chemistry altering medications do not work as well, as the regeneration effect cancels out whatever progress or change that the medications make once it is activated.

    karuma's gender is a bit...odd, since its an indistinguishable mix and fluidity between nonbinary and something vaguely male or masculine. he assumes the masculine part is stronger than the neutral or nonbinary part due to his being more comfortable with masculine pronouns [though not against neutrals, he just doesn't fight for them]

I love this villainous boy already... also rip kaito

why does he remind me of deadpool? is it the quirk? maybe it's the quirk

kinda curious, how does his quirk deal with burns? incinerated cells can't regenerate as endeavor so kindly stated when he burnt a nomu to a crisp. although in karuma's quirk description, it does state that he would survive the planet eventually deep-frying itself, so i think he wouldn't die from someone incinerating his cells, but how does the healing work? Does he just kinda stay in a limbo until the burned cells eventually go away and get replaced?

    @lucifer accepted! a formal 'rip' to kaito as well,,

    @everyone i do apologize for being absent as often and for as long as i have been. without getting into tons of detail about my personal life, my health has taken a turn for the 'super sucky' due to an undiagnosed illness. i may be doing some traveling soon in hopes of getting that diagnosis. which will obviously make me even more absent. i appreciate all your patience, i promise i won't leave y'all. ♥

    @toon
    since burned cells are essentially dead [which is why they can't regenerate themselves, they're. dead,] his body wouldn't be able to regenerate the way it normally would, where it would knit the cells back together and create new ones where it needed to. since dead cells are where alive ones need to be, essentially his body would have to shed off those layers of cells, sort of like a snake when they shed their skin. it would be rather similar to how his body handles poisons, where it had to reject the poisoned organ and expel it from the body before it can create a new one, since immortality doesn't detoxify poisons, just makes sure karuma comes back to life if he were to ever 'die' from some. so his body would have to remove and reject the charred cells before it could begin to make new ones and mend and replace whatever was damaged.
    in the event of a really bad burn that essentially made him a charred mess, the healing process would likely take hours, perhaps even days, where he would lay in limbo, 'dead' [he would have no heartbeat, but essentially would still be alive, provided his quirk is working and keeping his cells oxygenated as everything else regenerated] until his quirk was able to remove all dead cells and anything that wouldn't repair itself and finally got to work on repairing him. healing cannot begin until all useless cells and organs are removed, which is why the regeneration process of poisoned organs and charred flesh is much longer than if he 'died' of blood loss.
    hope that answers your question! sorry it's so long....i'll could talk forever about this quirk, i honestly really love it,,and i'm glad you love him!! i love him,,so much,

    @deku
    thank you hun!! rest in pieces you ashy boy,
    i know you don't really need me saying this here since i probably say it too often when we're on our own, but take your time and don't worry!! there's no rush for you to do anything here. you have way better priorities, and it's more important to focus on those instead of here. we'll be waiting for you when you return, i promise <3 we would never leave you!
