yukimura kōri
" careful, you might just burn~ "
name ;; yukimura kōri [雪村 氷]
gender ;; female
age ;; fifteen
status ;; villian
villian name ;; permafrost
quirk ;; dry ice
quirk specifics ;; kōri is able to produce dry ice from her body (mainly her hands) and is able to freeze the surrounding carbon dioxide gas into ice. she is only able to freeze carbon dioxde within a five metre radius or so. the dry ice she produces, already dangerous on its own, can be used for general attack and defense, as well as for explosive use (forming some in a tight container, which as the dry ice sublimates, it explodes) due to the nature of her quirk, kōri is a more resistant to the cold than a human normally is, but is still able to suffer frostbite if exposed too long to the dry ice
personality ;; kōri is what you would call unpredictable. to those who are unaware of her villian status, she's quite friendly and almost always seems to have a smile on her face. she also seems to be curious to the point of sticking her nose into someone else's business. however, to those who are aware that she is a villian, she is most definitely not what was is on the outside. she harbours a huge dislike for heroes and is quickly able to flick her kind and curious personality to a much darker and sinister one. inside, she holds little remorse for the deaths of others (even by the hands of others) and sometimes does enjoy playing around in fights, taunting and teasing, even to the point where she researches about her opponents beforehand just for insults and/or comebacks. she can be seen as a try-hard, always wanting the last laugh and say in any fight or argument. like her quirk, she's cold to the point where it really burns and does not care about things that do not concern her.
history ;; as a child, kōri was just a quiet child, never really standing out at all. all around her, there were people who showed off their quirks and boasted about being a hero. due to the dangerous nature of her quirk, kōri often recieved remarks regarding that her quirk was dangerous, but cool (pun not intended) as she grew up, she began to realise that most of her classmates didn't have a strong sense of 'save people' that she thought heroes to have. this made her believe that heroes were just there for the fame, glory and money. this belief then grew into dislike, then pure hatred. knowing that everywhere around her loved heroes, she soon came to hear of the league of villians. knowing that they at least shared the same viewpoint as her, she faked her death by freezing her house with dry ice when she was home alone, making it seem like she had accidentally lost control of her quirk and killed herself with frostbite by accident. this gave her a chance to run and join the league. to this day, she's still unsure if it worked due to the lack of media attention, but is glad that she's escaped that world.
as she neared the high school age, she saw that all around her, other villians with a similar age to her went sent to ua as undercover villians. she believed that she would've been sent, but never was told to go. she was told she was a little too unpredictable to be sent and so she waits for the next opportunity to attack ua to unleash her pent up frustration and anger at heros.
