as i do recall, there were some plans made for a bit of drama in the beach episode! so, if everyone is still wanting to spice that up a bit with some villain conflict and such, then i think it would be reasonable to have a bit of a space in between usj and the next arc, to give everyone's characters a bit more time to interact, and also to give all the players a chance for their schedules to settle down a little bit so they can write more freely!

hhh first off, i'd like to apologize for poofing on you all; i was beating myself up for not getting replies up fast enough, and that's also sort of when i knew i had to take some time off to recuperate and adjust my mind set. i'm totally on board with the beach episode, but since it takes place after the usj attack, kotone will be dead, so i won't be playing her anymore. yay? luckily (????? am i going to die), i have another character,, planned,,,,,, :,,,,)) someone please take my computer away LMAO. i'll get up his form sometime within the next few days hopefully, but in the mean time, i'll probably be a little more active than i was for the past few weeks.

kazuya is exactly as his appearance suggests; quiet, shy, and always seems bored. there's not many
things that are able to catch his interest, and when paired with his almost nonexistent attention
span, kazuya often comes off as the type of person to not care about anything at all. he will talk and
initiate conversation if necessary, but he has a naturally quiet voice, which often results with kazuya
needing to repeat himself several times before the other person can hear his words. it's bothersome
to him, so he tries to not talk unless he absolutely needs to. he's fairly chill and laid back as well, so
if you ever need anyone to watch cat videos with (fun fact, cat videos are his entire life), kazuya is
your go-to guy. he also adores puns and dumb pick up lines, and you'll definitely be able to get some
laughter out of this normally stoic student through those methods. he can also be found with his head
phones over his ears when he's alone, or around his neck during class time. the type of music that is
often played through his headphones are jpop (vocaloid, sekai no owari, spyair, kenshi yonezu, daoko,
ect.) and classical music of all types and composers from different time periods (orchestral, piano solos,
violin solos/bach, vivaldi, haydn, beethoven, chopin, mendolssohn, debussy, ravel/baroque, classical,
romantic, impressionist, 20-21st century as examples for some of the classical music works he listens
to). as uncaring kazuya may seem, he actually is quite intelligent and learns quickly, which is shown
through his style of fighting and the sort of tactics he often uses.

when kazuya was still in elementary school, he was often teased for having a more feminine appearance
than the rest of his classmates, due to his larger eyes, softer skin, and slightly longer hair. as a result, he
became accustomed to avoiding confrontation with the rest of classmates and keeping to himself. that
was safer and induced less opportunities for the other children to pick on him, but it greatly impacted
his social life when later in life, others found out that he wasn't as willing to talk about himself. he had
also managed to convince his parents to allow him to learn aikido as a form of self-defense against the
students who react in a physical manner and as a way for kazuya to maximize the effects of his quirk. his
life at home was also relatively lonely, as his parents were often on business trips, and often traveled to
different countries that spanned over a minimum of two weeks. he would often practice his quirk in the
confines of his own home because he had nothing else to do, and eventually, he soon become better at
controlling it. interestingly enough, kazuya had always been rather slim, which contributed to how he
used to seem feminine, but as he grew older, he also started to put on a little more muscle, due to his
aikido training.

as the name suggests, time to stop is a quirk based around time manipulation. while it implies how the
user is only able to slow down or stop time, it also effectively enables the owner of the quirk to speed
up time as well. it only affects a small group of living creatures or inanimate objects at a time, and how
kazuya contols his quirk depends on who his target is. in order to completely stop someone's time, slow
it down or speed it up, he needs to initiate physical contact with his target(s) before attempting to use
his quirk. then, he would smash an hourglass (amount of time comes in 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute,
and 5 minutes) onto the ground, and the people who had been touched by kazuya would immediately see
how their time would've slowed, accelerated, or come to a standstill. being slowed or forced to stop
moving would result in not being able to dodge attacks quick enough, and having their time quickened
would mean that that the people affected would act too quickly, therefore rushing into potential danger.
once the amount of time within the hourglass he had smashed had gone by, the hourglass would piece it
self back together, and the effects of kazuya's quirk would fade away. he is able to control which group/
what sort of person he wants to affect with his quirk, and after he uses his quirk once on someone he had
touched, he would have to physically touch them again to be able to control their time with his quirk. as
shown with the hourglass, his quirk covers a little bit of time reversal, but that is much more difficult to
master, and for the time being, kazuya is only able to turn back minor paper cuts and scrapes that he had
given himself. due to the non-aggressive nature of his quirk, he learned aikido in order to fight back and
gain the upper hand when paired with his quirk. when other people are under the control of his quirk, they
either see everything around them stop moving (when kazuya wants to freeze the person/people's time),
slow down (when he slows down the person/people's time), or accelerate (when he speeds up the person/
people's time). people whose time becomes suspended or accelerated for too long may become nauseous,
and the effects will pass onto kazuya as well.

words, take away his aikido, and his quirk is only useful as support for those who are able to fight.
