valeria is a loving, gentle girl, who hurts with passion
and feels without hindrance. she has strong maternal
instincts, often latching onto younger campers in an
effort to protect them. she loves children overall,
and she often mourns that she will likely never be
able to havea family of her own because of her
status as a demigod. she is a hopeless romantic, who
adores love songs and love stories, no matter how
cheesy they are. she gets jealous easily, especially
when it comes to those that she has romantic interest
in. she is emotionally resilient,but at the same time,
has uncontrollable feelings that will reduce her to a
sobbing mess in seconds, even if she gets over it
within an hour.

history;
valeria has has a life with its ups and downs, but it is not one that she would
trade for anything else. her existence was not born of love and adoration as much
as it was momentary, mutual desire, and she has long since learned that there is
no use being bitter about that. she grew up alone with her mother until age
seven, after which she married her father. she considers him to be her dad,
much more than hypnos, and refers to him as such. they had a relatively happy
life all together, and she was thrilled when she found out she was going to have
a baby sister. she even helped pick out her name: sofia. she adored her sister,
going as far as to be the first to her crib when she cried at night, though it
wasn't as if she could do much to help at the age she was. she continued to
watch out for her over the years they spent together.

as she grew older, her struggles in school increased, but her parents did the best
that they could to help her. her dad, a college professor, put hours into working
with her on her homework. her grades improved over time, and she learned to
be proud of the things that made her different from everyone else, under the
guidance of her family.

however, such great things never seem to last. one day, valeria brought a girl
home and introduced her as her girlfriend. her father was welcoming, but her
mother was not. she threw an absolute fit, shouting and throwing things and
generally making her opinion on the matter known. after that night, things
were tense between her and her mom. her dad was furious with her for
treating their daughter that way, and after a little while of her mom
continuing to mistreat and shout at her, their marriage began to fall apart.
eventually, when valeria was fourteen, they officially divorced. valeria was
devastated, blaming herself for it. she fell into a deep depression during the
process of her father battling for custody of sofia. in the end, he lost, and
valeria was cut off from her sister altogether, because her mother feared
that she would 'ruin' her in the same way valeria was 'ruined'.

she and her dad started over together, finding a suitable apartment and
calling it home, even if it was not as impressive as the home they had
shared with the rest of her family before. things started to look up, as
her grades improved again and her dad even got her the dog she had
always wanted, but could never have because of her sister's allergy.
again, though, things began to fall apart when the demigod 'perks'
she had miraculously avoided began to come for her. she was attacked
relentlessly, and after some time, her dad called up her mom to ask
if she knew what was going on. her mother begrudgingly explained
what she knew, and that she knew of a camp where valeria could go.
her dad decided that was for the best, and even though valeria
resisted at first, she eventually agreed. so, he took her to camp
half-blood, and she has been there for about six months.

Parents: His mother is Isabella Ulysses, alive and healthy. His father is Ares, the God of War.
Godly Abilities: Like every Demi-God, Cael possesses inhuman physical attributes and reflexes, but due to his father's own influence, Cael's physical prowess is second to none, praised by Ares himself. Additionally, due to his Father's blood running thick through his veins, Cael has an inert mastery over all weaponry, which allows him to immediately understand and use a weapon to its full potential as soon as it touches his hands. His physical abilities, combined with his mastery over weapons and tactics, makes Cael an incredibly dangerous enemy to have - and a much better ally.

Weaponry: Xiphos - A magical artifact, given to Cael by his Father, after the boy managed to kill a massive Hellhound with nothing but a sharp tree branch and a trashcan lid. It takes on the appearance of a bronze ring, but when clenched with sufficient strength, it transforms into whatever weapon Cael desires in that moment. It does this by drawing on Ares' own Godly ability to manipulate and generate weaponry. Generally, Cael sticks to what he's most comfortable with - that is, a large claymore or some type of battle axe.

Personality: Cael, having grown up in a tough environment, is quite straightforward and blunt with his words and feelings, yet he still manages to possess a naturally kind and courageous soul, with a somewhat dark and violent sense of humor. Being a genuinely confident and free-spirited young man, Cael isn't exactly one for being shy or subtle, not afraid of speaking exactly what's on his mind - which has gotten him into quite a few fist-fights in the past, and has been the reason for a lot of spicy relationships, as well. As the son of Ares, he is incredibly ferocious in battle, with an inner bloodlust that can only be quenched by fighting. This also makes him a...bit of an adrenaline junkie, and incredibly adventurous to boot. High-speed motorcycle races, skydiving, mountain climbing - all of these are some of his more 'wild' hobbies that he usually takes part in during the summer.

For the most part, Cael is seen as a brave and cheerful Demi-God, despite his rugged demeanor and battle-loving tendencies. He's very protective over the Campers that he sees as his 'friends', and is fully willing to go to the Underworld and back for any one of 'em. Hell, it would probably be fun.

History: Caellum's past isn't anything extremely noteworthy. He grew up with a single mother, in the rougher parts of Melbourne, Australia He was always the 'man of the house' despite his age, having to take care of everything since his mom was almost constantly sick, due to her Alopecia. Times were...hard, but Cael persevered, staying strong, even if it caused him pain to do so at times. He never knew who his father was, and for the longest time, he hated the man for leaving his mother alone and helpless.

Even then, Cael always knew that he wasn't normal.

For one, he found out at an extremely young age that he was a genius when it came to Ancient Greek literature and languages, after an accidental perusal through his middle school's library. Secondly, despite his young age, he was bigger and tougher than every other kid at school - which was even more apparent whenever he got into some fights, both inside and outside of the classroom. And, finally, it was the skulking monsters that was the last straw. Shadowy wolves, prowling the corners, spooky howls and snarls during the night...it all began to weigh on the young boy, so he did what he did best - faced it head on. He could handle himself, but when these things began to affect his mom - who he could often hear crying or breathing fearfully in her room...well, he'd face the Devil himself for that woman.

Decision and mind made up, Cael left his house quietly at night time, and ran deep within the bowels of the city, where no one would find him. The sounds of a long, menacing growl followed him.

He had only been eleven, but armed with a tree branch bigger than he was, and a trash can lid, Cael, fierce and angry, bum rushed the nearest shadow within the cover of darkness, body-checking a macabre wolf with the force of a car. The following fight was long and rough, with the boy getting bit and clawed dozens of times over, but he persevered like always - with an arm-length claw being his trophy. The other shadows slowly dissipated, apparently cowed by the defeat of their alpha.

When he got back that night, it was to a tearful and scared mother who had felt the change in the atmosphere, and the peaceful silence of their home. No more monsters stalked them...for now, and after a bloody yet fearless Cael told her of what happened, the sickly woman decided that it was high time for the boy to go to that Camp. She wanted him to stay under her watch 24/7, and grow up without the weight of destinies and monsters on his shoulders...but his safety was her primary concern. So, they got into their beatup pickup, and headed off.

The next week, while he was being claimed by his father under the watchful eyes of the Camp, Cael promised himself one thing. He'd grow strong, stronger than anyone, and kill any damned monster or being that even dared to threaten him or his precious ones. That was a promise of a life time.

She's quite outgoing, though she can be shy around people she doesn't know well. She's an incredible liar, and will lie to you for all she cares. When mad, Elena is most likely to not talk to you. She doesn't like to surround herself with people she hates. It makes her uncomfortable. If you do somehow get on her bad side, watch out. She will not sugar coat the things she says about you. On the other hand, if you care about her and she cares about you, don't expect her to leave your side anytime soon.


нιѕтσяу: Elena comes from a big family with lots of siblings and cousins. She was raised by two wonderful parents who pretended to be her birth parents. She never thought to much of it, for her family was happy. When she found out that her Dad was just her step father, she began to question more things about her family. Her mother ended up explaining it to her and she began to calm down. That same summer, she started going to a camp for demigods, and this became her second home. (Camp Half-Blood)

Weirdly, he wasn't claimed for a whole month. Some people believed that he wasn't wanted, and being Damon, that could probably be true.
