Okay so, if we do go with Sickness so far I've got a few choices. A most of these are made up.
Plague
Small pox or Chicken pox
Wraith Insomnia -those who fall prey to this can experience: have insomnia, loss of appetite, Muscle loss, irritability, short bouts of insanity and Death.
Banshee Paralysis - Those who fall prey to this can experience: Paralysis, hallucinations, Insomnia, loss of voice, bipolar reactions and death.
Rabies
Bald Body - Those who fall prey to this can experience: Fur falling out, rash's, blisters, freezer burn, sunburns, and sensitive skin.
or
Explosive Hostile Nausea - Those who fall prey to this can Experience: Nausea, hostility towards others, explosive tempers, loss of appetite.

Edit: Added a few things, after I realized that WI and BP and their symptoms can lead to death. Though the others aren't as obvious. xD

While Explosive Hostile Nausea is tempting, there is the drawback of remembering site rules, that can turn rather gruesome if someone gets over zealous with writing.

Wraith Insomnia in my opinion would be a good choice, being unable to sleep can cause a lot more problems than what's listed, everyone reacts differently to being unable to sleep and it keeps tensions high.

Designing our own plague could work to get the ideal mix of what we want. I know some will think instantly of black plague but honestly the conditions of the pack wouldn't cause it.

I like rabies the most, but I feel that Banshee Paralysis covers the most ground when it comes to symptoms.

I think I'd have to go with Insomnia one. Lack of sleep will also cause other adverse affects, sleep deprived hunters won't be able to hunt well, they'd be too confused and discombobulated, same with fighters and such. Plus with muscle loss it would make the other plot section of the other pack invading even more of a threat if the pack is having to rebuild muscle again.

but omg the Banshee one has potential to reveal some dark secrets via hallucinations.

My personal favorites are Wraith Insomnia, Bald body and Banshee Paralysis.

Edit: I just realized that if Amaya does die, one of my adult chars would probably adopt Apollo and Artemis. xD
