If Chai has not reappeared then your colt could also go to Mazikeen otherwise I have to write in Gaagi dying. XD She’ll take Ella’s foal in too and both would settle her so nicely.

as far as gaagi's death goes perhaps there's an infection from her leg and she passes?
or maybe mazi's just that hardcore and realized gaagi wouldn't make it so left her behind?
also, yes, alfheim is kidnapping all the foals in valhalla lol

Mazi is dominant but she loves her foals so I’ll have her experience Gaagi’s death and because she’s still lactating she’ll take up the role of mother for the little colt. I know in the wild some mates steal foals so perhaps the colt gets lost from his mother (probably her first foal and she’s careless with him too) and Mazikeen takes him in. She’ll be stressed from the death too and is over protective of him. Like won’t let anyone near - especially Titan.
I just can’t wait for her and Thera to be besties.

we could totally do that! I actually had a mare several years back who rejected her first foal entirely (wouldn't let him nurse AT ALL and kept chasing him away before we took him and put him with our other mare who with a day or so took him in) so it could almost be like that? Like he's a super thin little thing who's basically scared of everything even nursing since his dam was a brat?

@ches: I can definitely see the Thera and Mazi becoming super close, especially since they have such good coverage between the rest of them. I can just imagine Mazi going wild and Thera just knocking out everyone cleanly whilst they are distracted XD

edit; Also I was just thinking, since little boy will be younger than Gaagi and since his dam
is rejecting him it could be an interesting turning point if Mazi asked Cita if she'd let
the little colt nurse since Citadel is still producing colostrum? It was just a thought but
it could for sure be interesting since right now Cita is feeling a wee bit salty towards
Mazi about Thera XD

So far Orion is a traumatized little colt. Being two days old one would expect him to
be lively and playful but that's the exact opposite. Orion's dam, Muscadine, seemed
to instantly reject the young colt- resorting to chasing, nipping, and even attempting
to kick out at the palomino foal anytime he neared her for anything, be it affection or
even to fill his belly she seemed to despise him. These events have made a youngste
r plagued by fear and trauma. His delicate pelt is already littered with little scratch
es and cuts from a flying hoof or a fall and the lack of nourishment has brought hav
oc to his frame. Sunken in sides and deteriorating muscles leave the colt with little
to show other than his pelt and his bones. Orion is extremely frightened and skiddish,
he's known no other affection besides that of his younger twin and even then he tend
s to flinch away from touch if he isn't expecting it. He's a sad little sap at the momen
t and doesn't seem to know how to be a foal, instead he's lethargic and fear stricken.

Muscadine is a sour mare who is as inexperienced as the come. She's never had a fondness
for foals and when she had her first foals, Orion and Vesperia, she felt no connection to
either. The runt of the two foals pulled slightly at her heart and she's let her filly nurse
a few times out of pity but the mare doesn't recognize the colt as hers and has comple
tely rejected him, turning to violence if he nears to close to her and is constantly chas
ing him off. While she hasn't accepted the runty filly she doesn't react in such a volatil
e manner like she does to the colt but wishes she didn't have to look after either of th
em. Muscadine is a rude mare who lacks morals and manners, she does what she want
s when she wants and she's spoiled rotten. She belongs to no earls or kings and she lik
es it that way- she has little use for them except when she's in estrus and even then s
he is aggressive and combative. This mare cares little for what repercussions her acti
ons have and seems to believe she's untouchable. Overall she's a sour brat who needs
a good fight to put her in her place- but even then she'd play dirty and only come ba
ck angrier and more aggressive than ever.

@na'vi - i'm thinking of naming my filly 'vesperia', which means 'evening star', if we go with her being the twin to your colt, you could use a name like 'zoran' meaning 'light of dawn' c:

@Azhefa - so I had an interesting idea? If we go with the idea of them being twins it's already been
established on little man's part that their mother would be a neglectful little witch who is rejecting them (due
to her just being a newbie mom or a brat either is fine with me) It could be kinda interesting if perhaps they
somehow were split and someone took in little girl and Mazi took in little boy? It could be that my boy wandered
away after being chased off by mom for trying to nurse and got lost? I think it could be pretty neat if opposing
herds had one of two twins!

So far I had an idea of naming him Orion and how does about 2-3 days old sound? He's going to be in pretty bad
shape when found/stolen/rescued by Mazi c:

edit; I also only have Cita's part left to type up! I'm sorry some of them are a bit choppy or odd, they're pieced together
from a super sleepy Na'vi to a hurried Na'vi and now a semi normal Na'vi lol
