❝ Castiel was born into a small pack, they didn't have much power and
other packs certainly didn't have any respect for them. At only six months of
age his pack's territory was raided by a larger and stronger rival pack from
just a few kilometres away. His pack was split up, but Castiel and his brother
were taken in by a nursing mother who had two pups their own age. He and
his brothers were raised within their new pack, but his brother was overcome
by a sickness and died just a few months before they were to receive their
ranks. Castiel was assigned the role of a fighter, and he lasted for two years
until he noticed the corruption within the pack and betrayal was at every turn.
As soon as Castiel spoke up to challenge the alpha for his rank his pack-mates
turned on him, shunning him for the pack and throwing him out to survive as a
lone wolf. The last wolf he saw was his surrogate mother, who wore nothing
but a look of disappointment and betrayal upon her face. Upon being cast out
Castiel made it his goal to survive through the years and bring up his own pack,
one stronger than the one he had lived in, a pack built of those destined for
glory. He wanted power, and he would no longer have any boundaries to
prevent him from getting it. ❞

❝ Mira has always been the shy pup, the one that didn't socialize as much but
rather spent her time doing the things she found fun. She always liked to watch
the hunters run and bring down prey as a team, it intrigued her. She grew up in
a small pack, but often treated like trash and as a servant due to being the
daughter of an omega. She never really felt the need to stand up to their
commands, jeering and bullying, so she did as they said and stayed quiet. As she
finally started to grow up, she started to have more and more of an opinion,
starting to get a little annoyed by their constant commands. When she finally
spoke up about wanting to be treated as a proper member of the pack she was
met with retaliation and disgust. She was thrown out of the pack and left to fend
for herself, the others not thinking she would survive even a mere day. ❞
