Wings/tattoos/piercings - Loukai's wings are a shiny black but only if you look at them at a certain way in the light. Sometimes, they can seem to be a dark blue or purple with the right lighting and at night, they seem to sheen with an otherworldly light. This contributes to his mysterious persona.
An earring is pierced into his right ear which is a blood red ruby enveloped in a single silver bat wing that wraps around the ruby, the tip of the wing pointing upward.
He also carries a tattoo in the upper middle of his back below his neck which is a quill leaning on an ink well, birds flying above it. Underneath it is the phrase:

After the death of his parents, he also got another tattoo on his left forearm which is a simple quill pen which has another phrase underneath:
"In the end,
we'll all become stories."
BACKGROUND:
Loukai has always been a quiet boy, the black sheep of the family. He always kept to himself and never really associated with his siblings or parents. He seemed to always lack any sort of bond with anyone. Mostly this was because of his fondness for writing and living in fantasy worlds. Many people wonder if he's actually half angel with his love for this 'art'. Art is something only angels have ever adored as much as he does his writing and stories after all. Because of this though, his private life is kept just that and rarely does anyone know when he's around. He has always been a background character but as of late, with the death of the King and Queen of both nations, some fingers have now been pointed at him because of his enigmatic nature, especially after he got his most recent tattoo. However, he simply ignores them and keeps moving forward with his life.

PERSONALITY:
Loukai is a secretive person. No one knows this better than his own family. He actually does this to defend himself and make people second-guess coming after him as a target because of his true nature. Many people would definitely say he's half angel because of it and he can't have demons thinking he's weak, lest his life be cut short. He's not afraid to fight by any means but he won't truly harm or kill someone either.
He's not an open book and purposely makes himself hard to read by wearing an emotionless mask all the time. The heat on him with his parents' death doesn't really move him in the slightest as he's practiced keeping a lot of personal feelings to himself and just simply writing them down on paper. If asked questions about himself, he'll either give one word answers (i.e. sure, yes, no, there, here, etc) even if they don't fit the context of the question or he'll answer with another question of his own instead. The one word answers even go for regular questions if they're relevant, along with a gesture if the response calls for one. He rarely holds conversations with anyone.
He is, however, a curious fellow. Mysteries and puzzles intrigue him as does the wealth of knowledge in books. If he's not writing, he's usually reading or doing a puzzle. The mysterious circumstances around the kingdoms' rulers' deaths are extremely curious to him and he'd really like to investigate further as he can though he'll only do so on his own and do his best not to get caught doing so.
