Once, there were two worlds. One of technology, another of magic. For a long time, the worlds remained separate.
Than, a door opened.
At first, the inhabitants of the worlds didn't know what to think of each other. Soon, friendships were formed and the worlds became one. To access both worlds, special keys were formed by the ingenuity of one and the abilities of the other. All were given access to cross over as they pleased. However, after a hundred years of this alliance, perhaps it was only a matter of time before war broke out.
In the end, both worlds decided to end it before things got worse. All keys were destroyed and all ways of entering either world were permanently sealed with powerful magic.

Plot - Hundred of years ago, the worlds Earth and Pytherra had lived together until a war ruined it all. The leaders of both lands thought that all ways of accessing the other was gone. However, the magic holding the door closed is coming loose and keys to them are appearing withing Earth and a dark threat is rising withing Pytherra.
-Human characters will need to come across a magic key somehow. You can play it out however you wish. To use the keys, you have to find a door with a keyhole that they fit into. Whether or not they fit is totally random. It might work first try or not until several tries. There are also other doors which randomly appear in places. Keys will always work in them but only someone holding the key can see and enter this door. When the door is opened, it will lead into the other world. All doors however are linked to the same place; A large elven city.
-Creatures of Pytherra can just start by going about there day until the humans arrive
-Once things get going, I'll play out the start of the "dark threat" and we'll see where this goes from there.
Pytherra - This is a world in which magic and many creatures from all throughout mythology around the world reside. Most creatures, despite their intelligence, live a wild animal-like or primitive life. Elves are the only species with a society as complex as humans, with culture, language, and buildings similar to ours, though with their own unique aspects; most notably the use of magic. Electricity is not an aspect of life within this world as magic is not in Earth.
