[Princess of Wolves]

Hollystar

Hollystar would peaceully sleep in her den. "Excuse me. Hollystar?" a voice said. Hollystar woke up just as the strange voice prodded her back. "Oh. Hello Shatterpaw. What are you up to?" Hollystar said as she stretched her tired limbs.

Shatterpaw

Just as Shatterpaw was about to prod Hollystar on the back, Hollystar woke up. "Oh. Hello Shatterpaw. What are you up to?" Hollystar said to Shatterpaw. "I just wanted to show you something. Follow me to the elders' den!" Shatterpaw said.

Leopardspot

Leopardspot would stretch his aching limbs. The training he did last night helped his nightmares go away, but now he had to go on a patrol. He obeyed his own commands, although so tired. It was leaf-bare, so the fresh-kill pile was smaller and smaller. Leopardspot had to hunt or else the cats would starve. And by the weather, this leafe-bare was sure to be the longest.

Leopardwhisker was lying in her nest, one eye ajar. Her apprentice had rushed out at some point, and now Leopardwhisker was waiting for her to return, to question her. The bitter cold of leafbare seeped in through the entrance and she shivered, curling up closer to herself.

Spiderpaw was sleepily dragging himself out of his nest, yawning and blinking away the tiredness. It was cold, sure, but he had to get up for training and hunting.

Pebblefoot paced around the clearing, lost in thought.

Hollystar

Hollystar would follow Shatterpaw. As she was padding after the apprentice, Hollystar saw Leopardwhisker sitting at the entrance of the medicine den. "Shatterpaw. I think Leopardwhisker needs to speak with you," Hollystar said as she attempted to read the expression in Leopardwhisker's eyes.

Leopardspot

Leopardspot would twitch his ears for any sound of movement. But no sounds came. This mouse-brained leaf-bare is just what I need right now! Leopardspot sarcastically thought. Since he knew most of the prey would be hiding in their warm burrows, Leopardspot just decided to head back to camp.

Shatterpaw

"Shatterpaw. I think Leopardwhisker needs to speak with you," Hollystar said. Immediatly after Hollystar mentioned Leopardwhisker, Shatterpaw raced to Leopardwhisker. "So what did ya' wanna talk about?" Shatterpaw asked.

Leopardwhisker had an amused smile on her face as Shatterpaw bounded back over. 'Say, Shatterpaw, what did you need to tell Hollystar?' Her voice was level, but she was trying not to completely show the pride in her apprentice - Shatterpaw was hardworking and dedicated to what the two medicine cats did.

Pebblefoot paused as Leopardspot came back into camp, empty-pawed. The tom padded over, 'The prey asleep?' he asked, in a low voice.

Hollystar
Hollystar would go back to her den to have another nap, since everyone in the Clan seemed to have everything under control. Hollystar wasn't surprised that her mate came back without any prey, since leaf-bare was obviously the time of year when all the prey hid in their warm burrows.

Leopardspot
"Yep," Leopardspot said to Pebblefoot. "As asleep as a leaf."

Shatterpaw
"Well, there was this really pretty flower that only blooms in the winter that I wanted to show Hollystar because I knew she'd think its pretty, and because I thought it could maybe help in a poultice after Hollystar saw it," Shatterpaw honestly told Leopardwhisker.
