Pebblefoot paused as Leopardspot came back into camp, empty-pawed. The tom padded over, 'The prey asleep?' he asked, in a low voice.

HollystarHollystar would go back to her den to have another nap, since everyone in the Clan seemed to have everything under control. Hollystar wasn't surprised that her mate came back without any prey, since leaf-bare was obviously the time of year when all the prey hid in their warm burrows.
Leopardspot"Yep," Leopardspot said to Pebblefoot. "As asleep as a leaf."
Shatterpaw"Well, there was this really pretty flower that only blooms in the winter that I wanted to show Hollystar because I knew she'd think its pretty, and because I thought it could maybe help in a poultice after Hollystar saw it," Shatterpaw honestly told Leopardwhisker.
