When she was in her apprentice stage, both of Iceflight's parents died during an outbreak of greencough. The loss devastated the young she-cat, and she took to secluding herself. It took almost a moon for her to recover, but once she did, she had a determined ambition. This was a strong flame that burned within her and urged her to rise up, to try harder and become the best warrior she could become. The flame was not an unhealthy one that threatened to burn her alive, but one that pushed her to train harder, hunt harder, fight harder. Soon her warrior ceremony came, and Iceflight never lost the desire to serve her clan.

Iceflight was an observant, thoughtful individual from the moment she was born. Her ability to think through all her actions proves useful in hunting, causing her to excel in that field. She is also a good battle strategist. Surprisingly, in actual battle, Iceflight does poorly in one on one combat. Only when she is paired with a partner does she turn into a formidable enemy. This is due to her lack of physical power.

Stormpaw is able to come up with all sorts of new battle moves due to his creativity, even on the spot. His unorthodox fighting style can easily throw a younger cat off balance, but more experienced fighters are able to counter them just as easily, due to lack of physical power. His spirit is strong, causing him to have long endurance, and, he is agile and quick on his feet and able to outrun most enemies. Instead of training himself in powerful blows, he tries to tire his enemy. This strategy has many downfalls, but it is the best for his smaller than usual build.
