    Hair Color: Brown
Hair Style: Mid-Back Length, naturally wavy, often kept up.
    Skin: Tanned and freckly
    Height: 5'4
    Weight: 145 lbs.
    Build: Medium Petite

Training: Up to 4'9" Fences, Prix St George, Pre-lim

    Position: Riding Instructor

Personality: Quiet, Calm, Observant, Hardworking, Strict, Comforting, Kind, Caring, Maternal, Encouraging
History: Piper grew up around horses; she was riding before walking and started showing competitively when she was just six years old. Her main focus in her early years was in the English Pleasure ring, then branched out to the Hunter ring. She made it to the Maclay Finals during her sophomore year in High School. During her gap year after high school, she went to England and found a new love in the field - she started competing in Cross Country and would join Hunt Clubs occasionally. Coming back to the States for a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in Equine Science. She met her husband in her senior year of university when he stumbled upon an Equestrian Team meeting. He kept cropping up at different equine events and offered to help at multiple shows as her personal groom. Martin courted her and two years later proposed to her with the horse she had been training - buying it for her and presenting it to her. They married a year later.

    Age: Eight
    Breed: Thoroughbred

    Coat Color: Bay
Markings: Two Hind Socks, Full Blaze
    Eye Color: Coffee
    Height: 16.2 HH

Personality: A total goofball and attention hog. Prag is photogenic and will do anything for a treat. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but is spirited and playful. Under saddle, he is businesslike and will buckle down to work hard - even on things he doesn't love like dressage. He loves when the students take him out and love on him, or let him free lunge. Carrots, Peppermints, Carrot Cake, and Chocolate Chip Cookies are among his favorite foods - and straight sugar cubes.
History: Piper acquired Prag through her husband's practice at a time when she didn't realize she needed another horse. She had just graduated university and was trying to make a name for herself in the industry. The gangly five year old of course was in need of love and attention. He was an unfinished, untested thoroughbred, who didn't quite make it on the race track. He was in desperate need of a new home and a new job. With a lot of TLC, Piper brought the gelding to working condition and then worked him through his paces. She found out what a wonderful horse he was, full of personality, and talent. He is her young competition horse.

Ingrid Jackson |⚓| Nautica • Tigger

Postby OutFoxed » Mon Jan 22, 2018 10:40 am

    Image
    Ingrid Jackson

    Full Name: Ingrid Jackson
    Age: Twenty two
    Gender: Female

    Eyes: Hazel
    Hair Color: Brunette
Hair Style: Straight and long; Rarely worn down - usually pony-tailed, in a messy bun, braided, or stuffed under a helmet.
Skin: Mostly fair; rocking a farmer's tan year round but pasty white everywhere else.
    Height: 5'3
    Weight: 125 lbs
    Build: Hourglass-shaped, petite, lean
Modifications: Double lobe ear piercings, right helix piercing

Horses: Nexus Comet & Pauper In Blue
Discipline: Equitation, Hunter, Show Jumping, Pleasure
Training: Equitation - 3'6; Show Jumping up to 4'; Performance Hunter - 3'3 -3'6; Handy Hunter; Medal; Strong dressage foundation; Learning Side Saddle
Colors: Crimson, Blue, Black, Silver, White
    Position: Advanced

Personality: Bright, Spunky and always game for an adventure, Ingrid is one of those always on people. Bubbly might even be the correct term to use for this one. She's happy. She loves being alive. Even when she's serious, her eyes sparkle with the joy of life. Ingrid loves to learn; She's been known to spend the whole day searching on the internet or spending the day at the bookstore surrounded by information on horses (but that's a rare occasion and only when she can't actually be at the barn). She doesn't really understand the use of 'No'. "Jump this scary and imposing combination" 'Okay,' she'll say with a cheery smile. She's got a can-do attitude; always helping or lending a hand. She'll muck stalls just because she sees a muck fork and a wheelbarrow set aside. She cleans the entire tack room just because she noticed a fleck of dirt. She's not OCD, just loves being around horses and the barn. Previous trainers have kidded and said she's a barn pest - no matter what kind of pest repellent used, can't get rid of a barn pest. Such determination and passion has helped her climb her way to the top - since she was little and had her first pony ride, she's done all she can to be around horses. She's diligent and dedicated. Sometimes this causes her to be single-minded and overly focused. She's been known to practice the same thing for hours just until she gets it perfect - which usually ends up with a grumpy horse and a frustrated rider. She takes failure hard and the pressure of being great weighs heavily on her shoulders. She has a love/hate relationship with competitions - she lives for them but sometimes the pressure for blues just gets to be too much. She is incredibly stubborn and sometimes has to be physically moved or maneuvered (she's a little more opened minded about concepts revolving horses). A positive spirit, she can be the glue that holds people together and is a bit of a gravitational pull - like how people usually shy away from glum people, they usually are attracted to her sunny atmosphere. In competition she is focused, well as long as she's in the ring and being judged; the moment she's not, she's back to smiling and laughing and having a good time. She's definitely that one that always congratulates everyone and wishes everyone luck. She loves the behind the scenes at shows - sometimes barely making it to her own classes because she was busy helping someone else with theirs.
History: Before she was born, she was on a horse - something that hasn't stopped since; Ingrid couldn’t imagine a life without horses. She loves early mornings, the smell of grain and fresh hay, and horse breath kisses. She’s put in the countless hours of colic watch and sleepless nights spent outside a sick horse’s stall. She’s seen the miracle of life and birth, and the ending of life and death. Horse blood is what runs thick in this girl’s veins and it’s never going to change. Ingrid has at least attempted to ride just about every discipline and riding style imaginable. A fractured wrist was the result of her stint with vaulting; scars lightly lacing her shins comes from her 4-H gymkhana years when she was tiny (barrels bite back); and a hoof shaped indent on her lower back came from the unfortunate incident a few years back when she ended up under the legs of a five gaited saddlebred who panicked during a show. Her passion truly lies with horses - and jumping them over obstacles (to her mother’s continued horror). While she does live by ‘the bigger the better’, she also loves the artistic balance created in the hunter ring. She’s been a Pony Clubber her whole life and appreciates the organized chaos of rallies. No matter where horses take her, she will always live by the creed that horses come first. She competed in the Maclay Finals before she aged out. She loves to coach and volunteer for the local Pony Club chapters. In high school she was part of the Accelerated Program and has continued her education into university where she focused on the equestrian team and continuing to compete regularly.
Likes: Horses; Riding; Jumping; Competing; Hacking; Reading; Writing; Learning
Dislikes: Spiders; Lightning & Thunderstorms; Western Pleasure
Secrets: She has spent a large part of her life dealing with illnesses.
Goals: Start her own successful training stable and compete in international level competitions.

Parents: Mom - Anna; Dad - Eric
    Brother: Carter - 25
Family: The usual large family with plenty of cousins, aunts/uncles, and of course her amazingly wonderful grandparents.

    Barn Name: Nautica
    Gender: Gelding
    Age: Five
    Breed: Canadian Warmblood

    Coat Color: Dark Bay
    Markings: Star, Irregular Stripe
    Eye Color: Bittersweet Chocolate
    Height: 15.3 HH

Personality: An absolute sweetheart, Nautica is a perfect (or at least he tries to be) gentleman; he has wonderful ground manners for everyone, standing quietly for the vet and farrier as well as any pony clubbers trying their skills out. Under saddle, his charm flourishes as he makes his way around the ring following his rider's cues (even when they aren't always perfect aww pony clubbers). He has a rather curious nature which has led to a few minor injuries - and given Ingrid plenty of opportunities to work on first aid. He loves to be 'helpful' with whatever is going on he'll attempt to put on his own blankets, or help his buddies take theirs off; on the crossties he tries to help with grooming or tacking and loves to watch what everyone else is doing. He's the type of horse to throw his heart over any jump in his way, and will try his hardest to get to the other side safely.
History: Imported from a Canadian breeding farm, Nautica has had a decent life with an early start in ground training and sensitive trainers to encourage his talent. Started under saddle slowly between his third and fourth year, he was brought along with gentle steps to ensure his full potential wasn't ruined with rushed training and overworked joints. He was brought to Ingrid's trainer as project horse with potential. Nautica very soon became Ingrid's best friend and favorite ride as they excelled in training and practices together. His first show was an absolute delight for the pair - and her parents signed his sale papers soon afterwards making him officially hers. Practically inseparable, Ingrid has huge hopes to take him with her on the national and one day international circuits.
Likes: Attention, Affection, Treats, Grazing, Watching Everything/Everyone, Cats & Dogs, Good Riders, Pony Clubbers who give him hugs and cookies; Racing in the Fields
Dislikes: Bath Time, Pretends to hate Clippers, Stall Rest, Hind Wraps, Thermometers

    Discipline: Hunters, Equitation, Jumpers

    Age: Sixteen
    Breed: British Warmblood

    Coat Color: Bay
    Markings: Star
    Eye Color: Liquid Brown
    Height: 16 HH

Personality: Goofy and playful, Tigger has been caught on camera giving his rider a kiss, or sharing a slice of pizza. He's pure love and excellent with his manners and his work ethic. He loves to work and loves to play; a day in the ring or a hack in the woods; it doesn't matter, he's game. Not a fuss at all, he looks forward to what the day brings. He especially knows when he's going to a show. His crutch has to be treats, he'll pretty much make a fool of himself for food. He likes to be around other horses, easily making friends and is usually in the middle of the pecking order.
History: His barn name was a nickname given by the grooms when he was a foal, and has stuck with him ever since. He used to bounce around his dam - practically hopping instead of trotting or cantering. The first time he was free jumped, it was immediately apparent that he had the talent for it - clearing each fence by at least six inches. He circled back to the fences with limited incentive by the handlers and trainer, wanting to pop over them again. He hasn't changed much and is known for his bunny hops when turned out in the field. Ingrid first met Tigger at a training barn where she was taking lessons. She soon started leasing him and within a year bought him. They've been together for at least five years. He's taken her beyond her wildest dreams and the Maclay Finals two years in a row was just absolutely perfect. With one final year before aging out, she hopes to continue to rock the Equitation world at the Big EQs.

Trenton Eastwood |➳| Firefly ⨂ Conquest

Postby OutFoxed » Mon Jan 22, 2018 10:42 am

    Image
    Trenton Eastwood
    |➳|

    Full Name: Trenton Eastwood
    Nicknames: Trent
    Age: Twenty Four
    Gender: Male

    Eyes: Dark Brown
    Hair Color: Dark Brown
Hair Style: Usually messed up and long enough to start curling by his ears - desperate need of a hair cut.
    Skin: Great Farmer's Tan
    Height: 5'11
    Weight: 145 lbs.
    Build: Stocky, muscular - athletic
Modifications: Tattoo - Left Bicep, Simple Arrow with 2/18/2005-11/21/14 in small type along the shaft.

Horses: Shade's Tempest & Conquest FS
Discipline: Eventing; Cross Country; Show Jumping
Training: Prelim - working towards Intermediate; 1.20 m Jumpers - Open, Adult
    Colors: Blue, Green, Black, White

Personality: Trenton has a generous soul and a passion for horses. He is kind and caring; others always before himself. If he hears through the grapevine that another rider or person is having a problem, he will do whatever he can to help out. He’s down-to-earth and tries to view things as objectively as possible. He knows and understands his limits, not often trying to push them - especially with extremely reckless or dangerous behavior. He is daring, bold and confident in his riding. Unfortunately, that has caused him to be called arrogant. Trent is analytical; makes plans, schedules, and plenty of lists. He never stops asking questions and he’s always trying to improve. He hates the jealous combative atmosphere competitions seem to have hanging over them. He is always looking for a bright side and is a rather genuine person. When he says ‘good luck’, he actually means it.
History: While not rightly privileged, he did grow up on his grandparents spacious breeding farm. He used to stay there for only the summers when he was only a small child. Unfortunately tensions had been rising between his struggling father who worked in the city and his mother. Their tiny flat was becoming too crowded and finally his mother moved them 'just for the fall' to the countryside. Of course the fall became the spring, summer and then years later.

Growing up on the farm meant that Trenton and his younger sister, Molly had more freedoms than growing up in the city. They were outside for the whole day and groaned when they had to come in for meals and sleeping. They also learned how to ride, often spending the whole day traipsing the fields and woods on their trusty ponies.

After years of growing up in the rambling country, Trent's grandfather gave him the first of his favorite gifts ever. On his thirteenth birthday, Trenton was welcomed to watch the colts being trained. With the spring, he got to watch foals dropping. As summer progressed he watched the trainers gentle the foals to halter and finally weaning them. He learned as much as he could, watching the others work and handle the different horses, picking up techniques and tricks. He asked many questions, which caused him to be the brunt of jokes among the trainers and stable hands.

His next greatest gift was in his fourteenth year: the opportunity to help train. Trenton was finally in his element, he helped to sack out the young foals and get them used to halters and being led. He no longer was the brunt of jokes but of admiration; his constant questioning paid off and he was deemed a natural and talented. He got to help prepare the yearlings to be saddled and when the two year olds were brought in, helped to prepare them for their first rider.

When Trenton turned sixteen, he was given a choice. He had to choose between getting a car like most of the other new drivers at school, or to train his very own horse. Naturally, he chose the horse. While most of the horses on the farm were sold as two year olds or green broke three year olds, Trent would have the opportunity to train a four year old.

The next four years were the toughest and best of his life. The first rides were magical and beyond frustrating. But horse and rider learned together and became a better partnership. From the first low cross-rails to their first hunter trails, Robin Hood and Trenton seemed unstoppable. It never mattered what placing or ribbon hung on on the wall, but that they did their best.
Likes: Training; Being at the Barn; Coaching; Jumping; Cross Country
    Dislikes: Huge Crowds; Mushrooms; Snow
Secrets: If it hadn't been for horses and his grandparents, Tent would have been someone you read about in newspapers.
Goals: To become a successful eventing catch rider and continue his training program.

    Mother: Clara
    Sister: Molly - 15
Family: Grandfather, Jeffery & Grandmother, Alma.
    Hometown: Middleburg, VA

    Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
    Crush: N/A
    Significant Other: N/A

    Image
    Show Name: Shade’s Tempest
    Barn Name: Firefly
    Gender: Mare
    Age: Seven
    Breed: Belgian Warmblood

    Coat Color: Cherry Bay
Markings: Small star and Left front heel
    Eye Color: Coffee
    Height: 16.2 HH

Personality: Willing and trusting, her personality has been shaped by the hands of gentle and knowledgeable trainers. Firefly was imprinted at birth which helped in her years of training. She has always been a determined little mare. Being anything but alpha mare is out of the picture (except where humans are concerned though they have to work for her respect). This mare has a tendency to be proud, strutting and parading. An audience of one is still an audience and she will perform. She isn't easily frustrated and will try her hardest to get it right. With a bold spirit and heart of gold, she shines on the cross country course and has the speed and fluidity for the fast paced, twisting turns of the stadium obstacles. Dressage can be a little slow paced and technical for her, but she will push through and dedicate just as much energy into perfecting a maneuver as she does racing across a grass field and jumping logs.
History: Firefly was born on an American warmblood stud farm with the hopes of following her sire’s lineage of eventing champions. Imprint trained at birth helped her grow up as a bold and curiously adventurous colt as well as helped her to adjust to life in a training facility. She was blessed with kind trainers who were patient and generous with her as she learned and developed. At four years of age she was first started with a saddle and rider and then spent the next year working on dressage. Her fifth year was the start of her jump training - worked first through free jumping and then on to baby jumps so she could find her distances and her natural jump form. Trenton started her formal training as an eventing horse over a year and a half ago. He bought her within six months of being together because he liked her so much. They’ve been excelling in competitions as a team and look forward to future challenges.
Likes: Sugar Cubes; Jumping; Competitions; Grazing
Dislikes: Dressage; Collection; Coffin Jumps; Bulls

    Discipline: Eventing
Training: Up to Intermediate in shows, training for Advanced. Been to a CCI*.

Weaknesses: Dressage - Collection, Passage, Piaffe

    Show Name: Conquest FS
    Barn Name: Conquest
    Gender: Gelding
    Age: Five
    Breed: KWPN

    Coat Color: Black
Markings: Three White Socks, Broad Snip
    Eye Color: Rich Ebony
    Height: 17 HH

Personality: Single minded and determined, Conquest knows his job and strives for only the best. He's an aloof horse with some aggression behind his eyes. He hates human cuddles and truly isn't a fan of treats. He just wants to do his job and get over it. He pins his ears and shows his teeth whenever anyone walks by but wont act on it. He doesn't like having other horses near him and will bite and strike whenever one is nearby especially at mealtime. He seems the happiest when out grazing in a pasture. He throws a mean buck when he's angry at his rider and easily frustrated by confusing signals. If you can get past his tough exterior and content with an unaffectionate horse, he's the best mount for competitions.
History: His aggression can be traced to two different circumstances, one being his lineage - he was bred for his parent's skill and not so much for their temperaments and also because he was gelded late in life - as a long three year old as he was a crypt orchid. Trent got his hands on him after the horse was claimed a terror and left in the stall for months because no one could get close to him without being endangered. Finally the breeder decided to geld him - a traumatic experience since he was darted in the stall and then chased out to the indoor arena where he collapsed due to the tranq and promptly gelded. Trenton had to catch the horse in the pasture and has since been trying to earn trust from the horse. The breeder was noted to have a relieved smirk on his face as the trailer left his property.
Likes: Grazing; Competing; Jumping; Mares; Grass; Grain; Alfalfa

    Piper Varsten

Piper Varsten - the English Riding Instructor, a woman in her late twenties who is thoughtful and kind, especially to those she views as the underdogs. She tries to be encouraging to her students while also being strict in discipline. She owns a goofy thoroughbred gelding, Pragmatic, and an older schoolmaster named Hunter. There's also the rather accident prone barn cat she's unofficially adopted.

± Susie - She neutrally positive with her; admires her for running the entire centre. Maybe they'll gab together.
± Rhys - He brings out her maternal side; she approaches him as though he were a sensitive green horse, calm voice, deliberate actions. She will always acknowledge him (as long as she can/knows he's around) and will ask his opinion when it comes to the horses.
± James - She is polite to him but isn't easily swayed by his charms. She would like to push him and challenge him as a rider - encouraging him to ride
± Alaska - She likes Alaska and enjoys being around the younger woman; she would probably like to discuss trimming/shoeing with her, and get to know her better.
± Maeve - She likes being around and watching the younger woman work with her horses. Admiring of her kind nature and work ethic.
± Mikelle - She enjoys his company especially around the barn; she would be sure not to overuse his helpfulness though.
± Kerrigan - She would probably act more maternally around him, especially since he's quieter - would enjoy trying to encourage the best from him but also balancing on keeping him from total center of attention.
± Cheyenne - Too little to get a good read
± Florance - Too little to get a good read
± Santiago - Too little to get a good read
± Damarcus - Too little to get a good read
± Ethan - She would probably smile and say hi, but let him figure out the distance - she would like to keep a neutrally positive relationship with him in hopes to bring him out of his shell, especially in his riding.
± Donovan - She enjoys being around him
± Kennedy - She would probably enjoy teaching her and getting to know her better
± Farah - She would enjoy coaching her riding - appreciates her attitude
± Saoirse - She would appreciate the younger woman's bluntness - although sometimes she'd be a bit put off by it. She would like to challenge and encourage her riding, as well as ease some of her anxieties.
± Liam - She would be kind to him, but probably have more of a student/teacher relationship unless he decides to let her in.
± Greysen - Too little to get a good read
± Elijah - Too little to get a good read
± Kathleen - She would probably like to get to know her more, and would like to see her excel in her riding.
± Savannah - Finds her interesting and challenges her to be stronger in her riding.
± Samir - She is intrigued by him and would like to get to know him better - challenging herself to become a better teacher/coach for him
± Brennan - She would find him interesting, especially with some of his polarizing personality traits
± Blake - She would admire the young woman's strong attitude, but might offer a maternal avenue if ever needed. She would want to encourage her to be her best self.

    Ingrid Jackson

Ingrid Jackson is a young woman who has been in the Hunter/Jumper world for most of her life. She's passionate about horses and enjoys spending time with others. She owns a green gelding named Nautica that she's bringing along as her new hunter mount, as well as her loyal equitation mount, Tigger.

± Susie - Respects her authority as the owner
± Rhys - She would be friendly towards him, but not out of her way
± James - She would be intrigued by him, maybe attempt to flirt
± Alaska - She would be interested in a friendship, liking her personality, as well as interested in her work with the horses (riding/farrier)
± Maeve - Would probably get along decently well together
± Mikelle - She would try to be his friend
± Kerrigan - She would try to be his acquaintance
± Cheyenne - Too little to get a good read
± Santiago - Too little to get a good read
± Damarcus - Too little to get a good read
± Ethan - She might be shy to approach him, but curious about what he's drawing or listening to
± Donovan - She might crush on him - depending on how he's written out
± Kennedy - She would enjoy her friendship/maybe competitive riding buddies
± Farah - Would be interested in a friendship/maybe competitive in riding - positively challenging each others riding
± Saoirse - Would be interested in getting to know her better
± Liam - She'd appreciate him from afar
± Greysen - Too little to get a good read
± Elijah - Too little to get a good read
± Kathleen - Would be interested in a friendship
± Savannah - Would be interested in being acquaintances
± Samir - She would be intrigued by his good looks and accent, of course also by his riding ability and horses.
± Brennan - She would probably be neutral towards him, interested from afar
± Blake - She might be put off by the young woman's bluntness, and might offer help if ever asked. Maybe go on training rides together

    Trenton Eastwood

Trenton Eastwood is a driven twenty three year old with plans on making the international eventing circuit. He is often so focused on his own training that he forgets about other people. He owns a fiery mare named Firefly and an aloof gelding named Conquest.

[± Susie - Would be polite and ask if he could help any time he saw her
± Rhys - Neutral, sometimes greeting him, sometimes too focused to notice; but no negative feelings towards him
± James - Neutrally Negative - finds him arrogant which he dislikes, but admires his hard work from afar.
± Alaska - Will accept her company, thinks she's cute. Maybe trail ride, but he's more focused on his own Eventing
± Maeve - At first he might be standoffish, but over time he would appreciate her riding ability - maybe that's what connects them
± Mikelle - Is a but put off by his need-to-please, but more neutral towards him
± Kerrigan - He might be put off by his more feminine personality - but would appreciate how he treats his horse
± Cheyenne - Too little to get a good read
± Santiago - Too little to get a good read
± Damarcus - Too little to get a good read
± Ethan - Might be put off at first, but then be interested in a competitive based friendship
± Donovan - Might see him as a challenge, or put off by his 'softness'
± Kennedy - He would be attracted to her hard working, not afraid personality
± Farah - Would maybe enjoy her company in training sessions
± Saoirse - Would enjoy her witty and sharp tongue
± Liam - Would see him as riding competition - challenging. More like coworkers than friends
± Greysen - Too little to get a good read
± Elijah - Too little to get a good read
± Kathleen - Might be attracted to her, but keeps it on a friendly level
± Savannah - Would study her from afar, assist her if asked, but probably neutral
± Samir - Might think that he is being arrogant and self-concerned instead of understanding that he's deaf - would watch his riding
± Brennan - Neutral from afar
± Blake - He would be intrigued by her harsher exterior - liking her independent and strong personality; her age would surprise him and also send him on his way

Key: + positive; - negative; ± neutral (with explanation of either a positive or negative tendency)

If you find any information wrong, please let me know and I will adjust. This is all how I perceive the two character's relationship could be based on what information you've given.

Full Name: Blake Alexander
Nickname(s): Blake
Age: 17 Years
Gender: Female
Horse: Armani
Appearance: Blake is a tall thin girl, with long, ombre hair. She stands about 5 foot 7 and keeps her weight a secret.
Personality: She is sarcastic, street smart, and comes from a poor background and broken home. Having been a waitress for almost her entire life, she has had to fend for herself. This has led her to become slightly bitter, but she tries to hide it with her sarcasm as her emotional shield. She constantly makes jokes and regularly insults and offends people without much thought. She also claims to be good at manipulating people and is notorious for being habitually rude towards just about everybody.
History: Blake grew up with her mother never being around and she never met her father. She had to work for her food since she was ten years old and ended up growing up in a very bad environment. She bought Armani about a year ago and he has helped heal her some.
