I don't mind that idea! Although I'm really trying to make Levi's character a lot more tough, capable, and strong-willed than Donovan's. Donovan would probably do what they say to avoid getting killed, but I think Levi would probably be the guy to tell Coby and/or Shane to get in the car and stop trying to play the macho hero(s), because it won't help their situation regardless. "We're all on the same bloody team right now- the living vs. the dead- so just get in the damn car! If you want to have a junk-measuring contest afterwards when we're not about to be eaten then perhaps I'll consider it!" or something along those lines. (maybe without the junk-measuring part... lmao)
But yeah Levi is definitely more of an efficient "no messing around" kinda guy; he's not interested in playing around, he's interested in surviving. He'll probably give some speech about "it's us vs. the dead" in the car or something, idk lol
Might be a decent way to slowly start to slip these new guys into the group without beating around the bush too much.
And the car can hold 5 people, realistically. 2 seats in the front, 3 in the back. And Levi's motorcycle is in the trunk, so I don't think anyone could fit there. But yeah all 5 of them should fit fine ^^
edit: *Warning: long information dump ahead for clarification on who these guys are*
As for their weapons, Levi uses a sword- he's pretty skilled with it, but not like all elegant and aesthetic as Michonne in TWD- but he's not completely incomparable. He uses a 1917 cutlass type sword that he stole from a museum (because he's extra like that) which he wears on his back.
Donovan *tries* to use his bat (it has nails in it) but it's quite clunky and it's really only effective for killing a few walkers at a time. He always carries a gun in his bag or on his waist in case he's running from a herd or something, but if he's helping Levi clear an area he'd probably use his bat to avoid attracting walkers.
Donovan definitely has his faults and shows cowardice more often than Levi would like, however he is good with escape routes as he learns areas fairly quickly and is a fast runner, so he doesn't typically fall behind. Levi usually follows him when they're trying to escape from a group of walkers too big to fight off themselves (or if they're surrounded), and Levi is usually the one to give Donovan some speech to help with his panic attacks and help him keep going, as he made a promise to his sister that he would take care of him.
Also keep in mind that Levi did have a daughter (and wife) both of whom he'd lost during the apocalypse, so the reason he chooses to continue to survive this living nightmare is really because of them, which is why I would really like to make him more strong-willed and not pushed around too easily, because when your child is your motive you definitely don't go down that easy. That isn't to say he can't be bested, but I can't imagine him being easily bested by 2 strangers in his own vehicle. (Well, Donovan's vehicle but he's the one who drives it most of the time).
Hopefully that clears some stuff up and helps ya guys understand why I'm being a bit tougher with Levi's character, I'm not trying to make this any harder or frustrating on you guys but let me know if I am ^-^
holy hecc that was a p h a t post whew sorry amigos
