boy is feared by those around him, therefore he's

it is powerful. sometimes he'd use it to mo
ve simple objects, but it can also range to
massive shockwave explosions, levitation,
psychic shields, and even deconstruction.
charlie's psychic powers often rises in freq
uency with his growing emotion, with fear,
anger, and shock being the three elements
that often trigger destructive frequencies.
after excessive usage of telekinesis, charlie
needs to rest for a very long time, often sle
eping for at least ten hours to restore his e
nergy. even in his sleep his telekinesis is st
ill active, objects around him will suddenly
levitate or get thrown around the room, th
ere can be sudden tremors in the chamber

"i-it's just an accident... i swear! i didn't know it could have happened like that..." charlie holds a pretty
bizarre yet straightforward relationship with the broken: connor laurent. the fact that charlie is the instigator of
connor's change of personality as well as the death of his lover constantly cornered the older one with guilt and
horrors. it only took an unintentional burst of psychic energy to decapitate that rushing figure and entirely cut
down what was left of connor's light. if only charlie could muster up his bravery and overcome his chronic awkw
wardness, he would sincerely apologise to connor in no time at all; but his overwhelming antisocial attitude, and
his innate fear of socialising prevents him to even attempt to do so. he does not know how connor feels about
him, but charlie knows that even if connor is a forgiving person, it's only natural that connor holds some sort of
discontent against the psychic, and charlie understands and would often think that it is the rightful thing for him
to be detested

"father says she's the most powerful one in the group. i-i can't say i don't believe him." just like any other
human beings that are inexplicably a part of charlie's life, the boy has difficulty processing how he feels about
his leader, valerie. even though charlie does not know her personally, he knows that if for some bizarre, divine
intervention-esque reason he wants to get to know her (which is almost impossible), it would be a whole lot of
work. as charlie is often thrown in the shadows of the other descendants, he rarely interacts with valerie until
missions are to call upon them. in the heat of battles, charlie still keeps his docile and compliant temperament
and is easy to command by valerie, which is exactly what the boy wanted. he does not wish to be an unruly one
or a burden to his team, that is why he tries to be as cooperative as possible; and the fact that valerie's immune
to charlie's jinx makes him slightly more comfortable interacting with her

"to be frank he scares me. not trying to be disrespectful or anything b-but..! ugh, can we move on?" when
charlie has bewildered feeling for others, it is not with the case of the athlete: avery bardou. charlie knows what
he's capable of and steers clear of his path all the time; being outcasted from the group is not far enough from
avery's reach in the eyes of charlie, this is depicted in battles, where charlie would always venture away to the
opposite direction where avery is heading; even if commanded by valerie, it is only a rare instance that charlie
would even try to work with him and understands the difficulty that is his personality. it is not a secret that the
younger one of the two is oddly and significantly scared of the athlete, but charlie doesn't necessarily hate him,
and would even speak to him when spoken to. he also holds a slight respect for avery due to his great control of
his own powers, something that charlie is not able to do

"i can see bea's hiding something. it's... s-sorry, i didn't mean to assume" even though cold, emotionless,
and vague, bea is not an evil person. thus, charlie sees her as a kind and peaceful soul whose approachable side
is layered down within her frigid exterior, but again, he doesn't know her all too well to pull a valid conclusion.
a significant part of charlie's interaction with bea is the distance that the former constantly keeps, but unlike
other cases in which the distance is caused by pure fear itself, this particular gap that charlie has established
himself is due to the fact that he knows that bea is hiding something beneath her aloof approach, something is
bothering her about all this; even though charlie does not anything about what bea is hiding, he's not the most
intrusive person and he has no such plans on getting to know what pains her through disrespectful means

to be unquestionably perfect. that is all that has been expected of bea. a halcyon
descendant, she was to be valiant, intelligent, powerful, flawless. young bea hunted
after her parents' expectations with feverish ambition, throwing herself into
destructive habits. not only was the steely-faced child unhealthily absorbed in her
constant training, she was plagued with a perpetual terror of failure.

authoritarian parents most often breed a desire for escape in their children in which
bea found in maddox, the rebel. they grew a fierce friendship, a give-and-take for
both. in him, she found an outlet for her repressed emotions and from self-
destruction. her cold exterior was torn down in his presence, given a chance to enjoy
life. in turn, she was his pillar, his stability.

bea flourished with maddox’s companionship, and her training now has only
progressed. she has also been instilled with great moralism and wholeheartedly
follows relitivel’s cause. however, her schism from maddox when his loyalties were
discovered has sown a seed of great pain and regret within her. a part of her desires
to find a "cure" for the rebel, yet bea has only become more ruthless and serious in
eliminating the perceived evil.

avery, one of few redeeming traits and even fewer morals, leaves a definite lingering
impression on bea. to say the least, she detests him, most notably his notion that he
must be the only one to kill off the children. it is simply barbarous and the antithesis
of relitivel's noble mission. bea can't help but feel a touch of righteous superiority
over the athlete. she typically avoids any and all interaction with him unless absolutely
necessary. not to mention, her elevated frigidness both figuratively and literally.
