name: Lilith, or Lily - but be prepared for a snarl if you call her that.
pronounced: Ll-ill=eth
meaning: In Hebrew the meaning of the name Lilith is: Night monster. Storm goddess. In Jewish folklore, Lilith was a female demon and first wife of Adam.
age: Four years old
gender && orientation: Female, probably the most sexually confused wolf on the face of the planet
scent: Satan sea water and reeds
fur: Lilith was born a rather dirty brown. As she matured however, it turned into a nice, light brown that had delicate hues of cream. Since it is unheard of for wolves to be white around the coastal areas, Lilith is probably the closest to 'white' a wolf can be around her birth pack.
eyes: 'I'll murder your whole family' yellow
physicallity: Lilith is exceptionally tall for a she-wolf. She has broad shoulders and is built with quite a mascuile stance. She isn't afraid to use her muscle to shove people out of her way at all. She's not the fastest, nor the steadiest wolf. She often trips over herself without meaning to. Her tail is long and very fluffy - she steps on it often.

xxLike her mother before her, Lilith is very much a puzzling creature. She began as sweet as her namesake, tumbling over her siblings and eager to learn. Her brother, Cedar, was quite the adventurous scrap. Where he went, Lilith followed. They were inseperable, the two of them - the both of them determined to be great warriors like their parents. As she sailed through her puphood, Lilith had her eyes set on a clear and determined future. However, the world did not seem to agree with the path she wished for.
xxIt was a stormy day in the Sonora territory. Cedar and Lilith had ventured out on their own to find some food for the pack. Usually, they hunted as a family, but Cedar had his mind set on proving one of the other yearlings wrong. They could take down a doe all by themselves, he and Lilith. Immediate unease had come over the creamy she-wolf when Cedar snuck them outside of the den; she knew better than his arrogance. There was no way they could take down such a large animal without the help of the pack - yet, Lilith knew any argument was fruitless with her hardheaded brother. So, they began the hunt, spending hours of daylight tracking down the perfect prey.
xxThey found it at the ledge of the river; a doe with a broken back leg. She wandered the ledge with pain-filled eyes, bleating and crying for her family. They waited in bushes near by to make sure her herd would not return for her. When Cedar felt confident they would not, he made the first strike. Their chase was longer than expected. even on a broken leg, the whie tailed dear rushed through the pebbles and unstable rock. Cedar was quick to flank her side, biting each chance he got. Lilith, on his other side, dove for her broken leg, thinking she would bring her down swiftly - and that she did.
xxThe doe fell with no mercy, right on top of her brother.
xxIt took all of her strength to pull Cedar from the frothing river. He shrieked and cried with every move Lilith made- but she carried on until they were safely on shore. Once they'd been returned to its banks, Lilith deposited her brother on the shore, heaving and gagging on the water and mud that had invaded her lungs. After she got her breath, she got to her feet once more trying to coax her brother to do the same - but he could not move. His back legs were useless. He'd broken his back.
xxFull of shame and guilt, Lilith dragged her brother home by the nape of his neck. Chaos from her parents insued, leaving her whimpering and afraid to say much of anything. Her mother, devastated that her brilliant son had lost what mattered the most, she shunned Lilith from the shaman's den. For weeks she was not spoken to by either her mother or father. But the real pain came when she snuck into the den to speak to her brother.
xxThe fight was unkind and brutal. She leaned her face close to his, which was a horrible mistake. He bit into her ear, nearly tearing it off. Luckily the shaman at the time returned before too much damage could be done - but his words had already sank in deep. She tried to return to the duties of a learning warrior, but she could not focus; she was too afraid of the prey they hunted.
xxSo, with much coaxing from the chief, Lilith began to train for a different position; a healer. The transition was odd and difficult, but she adjusted swiftly. She was excellent with memorization, learning the ways of the healer without flaw. However, her brother still held nothing but malace, locked in his own corner of the shaman's den. He watched her with furious eyes each day as he declined, refusing to eat, refusing to speak, refusing to do anything. He became ill, losing a piece of himself each day.
xxAnd so, one starless night, Lilith made a decision. Her brother would never live again - not after the loss of his spirit. She slipped berries into the mouse he ate without so much as a glance. It took ten minutes for them to halt his breathing and stop his heart. After his death, their mother found herself unable to face the pain of loss. She left the pack without being seen.
xxLilith decided something after the storm had cleared: she would never be at fault for anything ever again. Not if she had anything to say about it.

On another note, my apologies for the delay in my posts. I was studying a lot yesterday as well as catching up on other posts I had to write woot 1,400 words in one (,:. But, I will do my best to get them up today, school is getting pretty hectic with only two weeks left until finals ;-;
