history> Elain's parents were chosen to be together, but were clearly not a good fit. Fights occurred more than decent conversations and they thought a baby could mix their marriage. That's were Elain came in. She was welcomed into the world and all was good. Or at least it was for the time being. When she was 3, the fighting began again. The couple would disagree on everything and as Elain grew up always thinking the system was corrupt. Awful even. If they could pair up two people who absolutely hated each other then in her eyes, it was not something she wanted to base her life on. She always dreaded the day she would receive the tattoo, and when she did, Elain ignored it all together. She even went as far as covering it up with a bandage or clothing. A couple days after having the mark imprinted on her skin, she was taken away by the government. They took her memories of her parents away and placed her into a new home where others like her lived. Though her memories of her mom and dad were erased, she still strongly believed that the system was still wrong. Not even the government could take away that feeling. It was if Elain never existed. Some people in school asked questions but never went searching. Now 17, she is still searching for a way to escape her fate.
