See that definition? That's what you are. A demigod, born from a Greek god/goddess and a mortal. Now, now. Don't go and freak on me. There are a lot more than you realize. Have you ever been diagnosed with ADHD? How about dyslexia? Did you ever think that these might actually be normal? Your "ADHD" is a battlefield reflex. You have to be able to pay attention to everything at once. You weren't born to stand still like most modern mortals. The dyslexia? Your brain is hardwired to read ancient Greek. Not English. That's why letters seem to fly off the page and spin around, trying to read another language that your brain can't get a grip on. Does that make sense now?

It has been years since the last Titan War, the legendary war where Percy Jackson, a son of Poseidon, and a ton of his friends defeated Kronos and sent him back to Tartarus. The legend continues to inspire many a half-blood, hoping to get a chance to be as great a warrior as he was. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, a place to learn to control your godly powers and to learn to survive in a world of constant battle and turmoil. Information

This is Zeus's cabin. Zeus is the king of the gods. He is the god of the sky. His symbol of power and weapon is the bolt, and his animal symbol is the eagle. Zeus doesn't have many children.

Poseidon

Information

This is Poseidon's cabin. Poseidon is Zeus's brother, one of the Big Three. He is also the god of the sea, as well as the creator of earthquakes and horses. The horse is his animal. Poseidon doesn't have many children.

Demigod powers (ones all demigods have, but are greatly increased by being a child of the Big Three):
Godly powers: Poseidon's children are stronger than most demigods as their father is one of the Big Three. Most of them have power over his domain with the capacity to generate earthquakes and hurricanes and control and create water. They can also communicate telepathically with equine and sea creatures since Poseidon created horses. They also have limited control over ice and cold. Additionally, some theorize that they can see through the fourth wall and carry limited metaknowledge.

Hades

This is your cabin. Hades is one of the Big Three alongside his brothers Zeus and Poseidon. He is the god of the underworld. He is married to Persephone and now, because of Percy, has a place on the Olympian Council alongside his brothers. His symbol of power is the Helm of Darkness. His animal symbols are the ram and Cereberus.

Demigod powers (ones all demigods have): Superhuman strength, superhuman speed and agility (children of Hermes have greatly increased speed), superhuman durability, superhuman healing, and superhuman senses.
Godly powers (provided by your godly parent): The power of Hades' children is greater than most demigods due to their father's status as one of the Big Three. As demigods of the Underworld, they have control over all that is subject to his kingdom beneath the earth. In particular, their geokinetic abilities surpass those of Poseidon's children. They can also have control of gems because they are beneath the earth, but this is much more common in children of Pluto, Hades' Roman form. Children of Hades are some of the only demigods able to control and raise the dead. They can also control and manipulate bones as well as have limited control over cold.

Information

This is your cabin. Ares is the god of war, mindless death, and violence. His symbols of power are the spear and helmet. His animals are the dogs and vultures.

Demigod powers (ones all demigods have): Superhuman strength, superhuman speed and agility (children of Hermes have greatly increased speed), superhuman durability, superhuman healing, and superhuman senses.
Godly powers (provided by your godly parent): The children of Ares are more aggressive and martial than most demigods. As offspring of the war god, they have incredible martial abilities with an extensive knowledge of combat, as well as, superior strength and overall physical prowess. Some are even given a blessing of invincibility by their father for their bold courage and righteous wrath in battle.

Information

This is your cabin. Apollo is the god of music, medicine, poetry, health, and prophecies. His symbols are the bow and arrow, the sun, the laurel tree, and the lyre. His animals are the crow, the cow, and the dolphin. Every morning, he drives his chariot across the sky, dragging the sun with him.

Godly powers (provided by your godly parent): Apollo's children are superior archers, healers, and musicians. In ancient times, many of Apollo's children were blessed with foresight. Some descendants of Apollo, like Halcyon Green and Octavian, can interpret the will of the gods, while others like William Shakespeare have become famed poets.

Information

This is your cabin. Hephaestus is the god of technology, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, blacksmiths, metals, fire, and forges. His symbols of power are fire, axe, pincers, and hammers. He is not symbolized by an animal. He crafts the weapons of the gods and goddesses.

This is your cabin. Hermes is the messenger of the gods and is god of shepherds, travelers, merchants, and thieves. His symbols of power are the caduceus, winged sandals, and the winged helmet. His animal symbols are the tortoise and the bird.

This is your cabin. Dionysus is the god of wine. His symbols of power are the grape vine, wine, the thyrsus, and big cats. His animal is the panther.

Information

This is your cabin. Aphrodite is the goddess of love, beauty, and desire. Her symbols are the rose and dove. Her animal is the dove.

Demigod powers (ones all demigods have): Superhuman strength, superhuman speed and agility (children of Hermes have greatly increased speed), superhuman durability, superhuman healing, and superhuman senses.
Godly powers (provided by your godly parent): Aphrodite's children are more attractive and have subtle powers compared to other demigods. With their mother being the goddess of beauty and love, they are natural experts in fashion and matchmaking with control over jewelry and makeup as well as skill in love magic. They also seem to have a greater clarity and sharper focus than most demigods. They have the same affinity for French, the language of love, as all demigods do for Greek or Latin. Some are also more interested in watching battles from the sidelines, rather than actually fighting. Some are even able to influence others with the strength of their voices using Charmspeak.

Artemis

Information

This is your cabin.

Demigod powers (ones all demigods have): Superhuman strength, superhuman speed and agility (children of Hermes have greatly increased speed), superhuman durability, superhuman healing, and superhuman senses.
Godly powers (provided by your godly parent): Artemis has no children as she swore to remain a maiden. However, she does have a group called the Hunters of Artemis who occasionally visit Camp Half-Blood. The Hunters of Artemis are immortal unless they die in combat or break their vows to swear off love of any kind. They have great archery skills like Artemis and are also skilled in using two knives. The Hunters are also stronger, faster, and more durable than normal demigods. They can also talk with wolves and other hunting animals.

Information

This is your cabin. Athena is the goddess of wisdom, war strategies, warefare, justice, reason, and the arts. Her symbols are the owl, shield, and olive branch. Her animal is the owl.

Demigod powers (ones all demigods have): Superhuman strength, superhuman speed and agility (children of Hermes have greatly increased speed), superhuman durability, superhuman healing, and superhuman senses.
Godly powers (provided by your godly parent): Although she is a virgin goddess, Athena conceives offspring through a meeting of minds with her lovers. Demigods of war and wisdom, Athena's children excel in intellectual pursuits, and have exceptional skill in warfare, particularly strategy. Children of Athena are masters at invention and strategy and have a high knowledge and skill with weaponry. In The Mark of Athena, Annabeth was shown to be able to weave an owl patterned bridge to escape Arachne's spiders with no prior knowledge.

Information

This is your cabin. Demeter is the goddess of agriculture, earth fertility, and harvest. Her symbols of power are a bundle of wheat and grain. Her animals are the snake and the lion. She has a daughter named Persephone, goddess of springtime.

Demigod powers (ones all demigods have): Superhuman strength, superhuman speed and agility (children of Hermes have greatly increased speed), superhuman durability, superhuman healing, and superhuman senses.
Godly powers (provided by your godly parent): Demeter's children are altruistic and passive half-bloods. Demigods of agriculture, they are diligent workers and naturally have a green thumb. They can manipulate crops among other forms of flora. They can also cook as shown in The Last Olympian. Most of Demeter's children can do a little more than make crops grow and keep bacterial fungi at bay. Some are able to summon Karpoi.

A pretty teenage girl dressed in pale pinks sits in the chair, smiling. The light somehow hits her blonde hair just right, creating a halo that accentuates her features and light, natural makeup. Her legs are crossed but are surprisingly muscular, and there is a luridly pink scabbard leaning against the chair.

Kasey: "O. M. G. You would not believe what happened to me the other day. So, like, I was just sitting there, and along comes this -"

Interviewer (exasperated): "For the last time, Kasey, we're not here to hear about what happened the other day. Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself?"

Kasey: "Oh, riiight. Like, you already said this, but my name's Kasey Charlington. You can call me whatever."

Interviewer: "Alright, and how old are you? 18?

Kasey: "Oh my gosh, I knew I should have put on more concealer? Do I really look that old? Like, I'm 17, not 18! It's those dark circles, right?"

Interviewer (panicked): "No, no, you look fine! Um, let's see what's next (paper crinkling). What's your, um, sexuality?"

Kasey: "Wow, forward. I love it! If you really must know, I'm demisexual. And single, but if you want to change that... (she waggles her unfairly perfect eyebrows)"

Interviewer (clearly caught off-guard): "Well, that's, um, that's great! And no thanks. Okay, um, tell us a little bit about your godly side.

Kasey: "Okay, well, if it isn't already obvious, my mom's Aphrodite. Like, I got the greatest godly parent. I love you, mom (she blows a kiss at the general direction of Mount Olympus)!"

Interviewer: "I see. Any special powers?"

Kasey: "Not really? Like I can speak some amazing French even though all I did in that class was paint my nails. And, like, I have this thing (she lifts the scabbard with ease and swings it around a few times surprisingly deftly). I dunno, I'm pretty handy with it. Plus, it's, like, pink. You can't go wrong with that."

Interviewer: "Yeah. Pink. Anyway, tell us about your life story. How did you find out you were a demigod?"

Kasey: "Okay, you won't believe this. I, like, always knew I was more attractive and stuff, but I never thought my mom was the actual goddess of beauty. Like, woah! Anyway, my dad told me on my thirteenth birthday - which is on June 26, in case you want to celebrate it with me - and I was like, 'Everything makes so much more sense now!' And then I came here because monsters wouldn't stop chasing me, and yeah! That's basically it. Obviously I killed all the monsters, but, like, in camp I'm learning how to do it better. How cool is that?"

Interviewer (clears throat): "Cool. Very cool. And, um, what's your favorite part about camp? Besides the...killing?"

Kasey: "Oh my gosh, definitely all my younger siblings! They're just, like, so adorbs. I can't even. I get to take care of them and stuff. It's awesome."

Interviewer: "Sounds great! Okay, that's it for today. Thanks for doing this."

Kasey: "No problem! It was, like, awesome to meet you."

She takes her scabbard and stands, shaking the interviewer's hand, before exiting the room. The camera pans around to face the interviewer, who is looking mildly disturbed.

Interviewer: "That was...interesting. I couldn't help but get the feeling that she was joking the whole time. And the way she handled that sword...I don't know. She seems dangerous, is all. I just don't know why."

A hidden camera outside catches Kasey as she exits the house. She leans against the wall for a moment, then bends over with laughter at whatever she heard. Gasping for breath, she looks up and stares straight at the camera. She winks at it, then walks away, whistling.

The screen goes dark.

Tae was adopted as a baby and spent the majority of her
life in a small fishing town in China with her parents and
two younger brothers. Her life was relatively simple, but
when she was enrolled in a martial arts class she found
her niche; to her parents' surprise, she turned out to be a
martial arts prodigy, ultimately enrolling in multiple forms
of hand to hand and close to mid range combat like
kickboxing, silat, and muay thai. It was this fighting
prowess that earned her some recognition and a ride to
college and high school graduation a year early, to a
school on the east coast of America. However, in commute
from the airport to her school she was attacked by a cyclops
and claimed by Ares once she bested him in combat, leading
to a rerouting of her schooling from college to camp half blood.
The mythology's influence in China was minimal compared to the
Americas, and Tae would no longer be safe without proper
training.

Tae is generally very serious and calm; your classic "surfer bro"
with none of the lingo and a lot more gravity. She's never afraid
to speak her mind, but prioritises actions over words, sometimes
leading to a lack of communication. A noble and selfless spirit,
she tries to help anyone and everyone as much as she can, most
notably having a soft spot for animals; however, due to her
generally secluded upringing, it gives her an air of gullibility and
naivete that belies her solemn demeanor. She also has a quiet
sort of stubbornness that makes her seem terse or prickly instead.
Generally very polite, if measured. Her English isn't the best, and
that language barrier has made her a bit uncertain and more quiet
than normal, conversation oftentimes halting even with the three
dictionary apps on her phone.

Tae exercises constantly, but her true strength is hidden under
quite an unassuming and even unwilling appearance; Tae doesn't
really enjoy fighting for anything other than sport (due to the
unfairness that it can bring). Really, her non-aggressiveness and
her reluctance to fight distances her from her godly half siblings.
Her gift from Ares, other than the normal amount of warmongering
that all Ares children get, simply seems to be an ability to pick up
forms of combat easier than most, although his influence seems
strongest over hand to hand or close ranged combat.
