hux's absol was caught when the elite four was only
a child. after warning the child of an incoming avala
anche in the crown of mt. coronet and risking his li
fe to save hux; he has became the dark-type specia
list's trustworthy and loyal companion in his journey
drapion originally belonged to hux's father who unfo
rtunately, passed away when hux was only ten years
old. the scorpion pokemon helped hux through his g
rief before officially becoming a part of his team. next
is hux's spiritomb. a young hux was vandalising the h
allowed tower in sinnoh, thinking the myths of a forb
idden pokemon were nothing but a bedtime story, un
til a spiritomb appeared and literally sent the boys ru
nning out of horror. hux mustered up the courage to
battle against the ghost-type only for his entire team
to be defeated. however, in the end, the spiritomb h
as taken a liking to hux's bravery and allowed herself
to be captured. bisharp encountered hux when he was
still a pawniard. as the latter, bisharp was the runt of
the pack and was often harassed by the bisharp leader
after saving pawniard from the leader's rage, pawnia
rd eventually followed hux around, adamant on joining
his growing team before eventually being captured. he
eventually evolved into a bisharp during a battle, in wh
ich hux eventually won with his newly evolved pokemon
liepard was caught as a purrloin where in the pre-evol
ved state, he stole hux's keystone when he was out ca
mping with his pokemon. angered by him, absol quick
ly defeated the feline with a sucker punch. hux was biz
zarely impressed by the pokemon's stealth, speed, and
his overall cunningness. he soon captured the purrloin,
much to absol's dismay. now a liepard, his rivalry with
the disaster pokemon only grew, though they would sti
ll work together for the sake of their trainer. hydreigon
was caught as a zweilous and the final one to be recru
ited into hux's team. her trainer abandoned zweilous
in a daycare, and out of feelings of betrayal, she start
ed to terrorise the place, even almost devouring a po
kemon. seeing her brutality and strength immediately
piqued hux's interest. he adopted the zweilous and tr
ained her to become the hydreigon we know of today.
she is the only one that hux is not able to fully control

Genesis is a woman with a very small stature. It's not quite dwarfism but is on the border of it, but she doesn't let it get to her despite the occasional jokes people make about her she stays strong and is brave with the slight abuse from the world. Niles is a gentle boy who, despite being a year off of adulthood, seems to have the personality and mindset of a ten year old boy. He seems to be innocent of the pains in the world and lives in a world of pastry, sweets and sugar. He's able to eat all of the unhealthy foods in the world without gaining a single gram of weight and remains thin and lithe indefinitely. He also mainly has the appearance of a girl, and lives somewhere in the realm of androgyny, which results in a lot of mistakes about his gender, but he doesn't mind, he believes people can do no wrong, and if they do, then they will always be forgiven. His eyes are a light pink in colour from contacts and his hair is naturally a strawberry blonde which is cut just below the ears and is kept out of his eyes by some hair grips.

I would like to join, but I have some questions first. Are students gonna start with four pokemon, or just the partner? Are they allowed evolved/strong pokemon?

the students are allowed to start with four pokemon, and they are allowed
to have them fully evolved or on the contrary. so it's up to the roleplayers.

les for his pokemon. his keystone is embedded in the black tie he
always wears around his neck, stark against his usual formal attire.

samson befriended his froslass as a snorunt when he was a small boy. chance encounter led to the two meeting outside his home in icir
rus city, and samson began feeding it scraps every night. the two formed a close bond, and when samson decided to become a pokemon
trainer, instead of choosing one of three unova starters provided by the professor, he opted to bringing snorunt along instead. elegant a
nd composed as froslass, his partner pokemon is constantly by his side, a silent white spectre.

on his adventures around unova, samson happened upon a town pestered by a rogue drifloon separated from its float. capturing the gho
st type to leave the townspeople in peace, the rougish pokemon grew attached to him, springing out of pokeballs to bestow lavish hugs
to his head. eventually, after saving him from falling to his death, a young samson accepted the clingy critter. drifloon evolved after a t
raining match between it and samson's snorunt, being the first of the two to change forms.

having developed some sort of reputation as a "ghostbuster" after his escapades in the town where he'd caught drifloon, samson happe
ned upon a haunted basement underneath a shopping mall in nimbasa city. he found the haunting misdreavus to be unique and powerf
ul, and decided upon catching it. misdreavus defeated both his pokemon in consecutive battles, though samson did not relent, and eve
ntually succeeded in catching the other after developing one of his first strategies, where he had previously battled without any plan.

in driftveil city, samson was trying his hand at fishing (he was miserable at it, really) when an electric current ran up his pole and kn
ocked him into the water. beneath the waves, with his worried pokemon hovering above the water, samson was face to face with a f
emale frillish, tentacles wrapped around his leg, appearing as trying to drown him. due to advantage of size, samson was able to res
urface and climb back onto the dock, chilled and a bit dazed. the frillish, angry at having been cheated out of a meal, attacked him
with a water pulse, though was taught a lesson from an arbitrary thunderbolt from misdreavus, now mismagius. unwilling to pass up
a chance at a new pokemon, samson caught frillish, who hated him at first but grew to be fond of him as well.

by now, samson had decided that he wanted to raise ghost types. intending to fill his team with phantoms, he headed to unova's underg
round catacombs in search of a haunter, though was unpleasantly surprised by a vengeful yamask hell-bent on destroying all who entere
d the caves. in efforts to save a frightened girl separated from her parents, samson battled the spirit, surprisingly strong given its evolu
tion, and catching it when he realized that its thirst for vengeance could only be trained away. the girl ended up leaving safely with him
alongside an espurr that she caught a fancy to. cofagrigus is still hateful and violent, though protective of samson.

banette was samson's first pokemon that he caught having evolved already. the pokemon ambushed him while he was distributing lunch
among his current party members (at this point, cofagrigus had not joined him yet), and ended up injuring froslass, who jumped in front
of samson to keep him safe. primarily concerned with the health of his partner, samson and his party ran straight to a pokemon center i
nstead of seeking revenge, with mismagius guarding his back. the banette followed, an evident bully, and eventually samson whirled ar
ound and fought back with jellicent and mismagius, catching it to correct its vindictive tendencies.

respectful is a trait samson would like attributed to him, and respectful is all he has ever been to fellow elite four genesis gravel. he fin
ds her bravery and compassion admirable, though doesn't speak to her much, something which doesn't set her apart at all, given how litt
le samson speaks in general. as for her height, samson doesn't really care, feeling that her tough character is more than enough to make
up for it. the size of her heart is something samson admires too, as that kind of openness is something he is only able to exhibit around h
is pokemon.

samson finds hux's outspoken attitude refreshing, though sometimes winces at his impulsive behavior. the loudness of his colleague mak
es him want to be even quieter. the ghost type elite does respect the dark type master, however, and can see past the volume of his voi
ce to be impressed by his skill. samson feels that hux is better at connecting with his students, and would consider asking for interperso
nal advice if he didn't feel so awkward about it. he appreciates the friendliness of his coworker, though it often takes him aback and by
surprise, leading to some very strange or very curt exchanges.

where emiko is strident and hardworking, samson is more laid back, taking hits as they come and adjusting his strategy to fit the situati
on. the fighting type master, however, is probably the one throwing those offensive moves. samson is a bit lost when it comes to her bri
sk tempo outside the battlefield, though is appreciative of her efficiency. he does wish, however, that the young lady could be a bit mo
re polite and empathetic like genesis. he is aware of how hard she pushes herself and her pokemon, and as a result attempts to be a bit
nicer to her, perhaps hoping that his consideration will manifest in emiko as well.
