amanda is a pretty normal person. she does her best to make it through her day job as a waitress. she
loves kids and often thinks about having a family. she is very flirty but isn't actually after to commit to
anyone yet. she is also scared that if she finds someone that she truly loves, that they will just leave
her. she is very kind and empathic. she loves to help others and is very easily to talk to. other than that,
she is also very intelligent. she has primitive survival experience and extreme knowledge of plants,
animals and how to survive without societal aid.

history.

amanda grew up in middle east. when she was five, at the age to start school, her parents decided to
move to america because school was expensive where she grew up and was far away from her home.
it as hard for her parents to find jobs so amanda and her siblings also had to start finding way to make
money. amanda resorted to mowing lawns and selling little nick-knacks that she had made. eventually,
her parents were able to find stable jobs and were able to buy a small apartment inside of renting a
hotel room. amanda took to wild like and to primitive survival after going on a school camping field
trip.

personality; takashi doesn't often show emotions. he often gets in fight, but he acts the way he does because he wants attention. he isn't an "attention-seeker", he wants attention because both his parents died when he was 8 and he was adopted into another family. finally being able to get some alone time, he was hoping to go on this trip, but he wasn't able to due to the crash. he hates his adoptive parents, and they treat takashi like he doesn't deserve to live. he has anxiety and he is diagnosed, but he refuses to see a councilor/therapist. takashi is very good at hiding his anxiety by acting out at certain times when he's getting anxious or something. however, you can tell when he is upset or angry. he is very "edgy" and doesn't trust anyone. takashi is very impatient and is angered easily, but when alone, he is usually just talking to his very few friends on his phone (text), he's yelling at someone, or he's talking to himself at his house. has philophobia.

- shizuka is a mystery to just about everyone. she's seemingly emotionless and tends to stay away from people, earning herself her loner reputation. it's just easier to be on her own since that's how its always been for her.
- she's a complicated creature, she wants and wants and wants yet she only wants it to come from her own doing. if someone else tries to offer her anything then she will refuse it, or snap back if they keep insisting. she hates the idea of charity, especially as she came from a less than normal household.
- she's self-reliant and doesn't trust easily. her pride is her downfall, she's very intelligent and a fast learner. she's pragmatic, always basing her actions on whats possible, but if she deems something as pity, she will turn her back on whatever it is. despite being a dreamer, she hates dreaming as it does nothing for her in the present, and is stubborn beyond belief.

- shizuka was born into poverty in a rural town in montana. her parents owned a trailer and that was about it. she was abused by her parents and swore that she would make it out of that town on her own ability and be the success nobody thought she could be. so she worked constantly, as a mechanic, a ranch hand, and as a laborer in a lumber company, sometimes all in one day. at sixteen her family situation worsened and she ended up deaf in one ear and sent into the foster system. since she was older she was never going to be taken, and shizuka ran away, managing to survive on her own for three months before she was caught. since then she would stick around for about a month then disappear again, only to be caught ever time.
- just a few months before she would be eighteen and free, somehow her grandmother in japan learned about her and decided to take her in. so, shizuka was sent on the first and cheapest flight possible, flight 117, then she would jump from australia to japan.

Personality:

Described as intense and driven, Sasha is not a guy you want to make an enemy of. He's intelligent, level headed, collected, and when he sees fit, unnaturally cold. With the heart of a soldier, Sasha will stop at nothing to complete a task he's set his mind on. His sheer will and determination make him a valuable ally.

But, despite being a killer for a living, Sasha isn't an evil man. The softer side of Sasha isn't something many people get to see. For one, he doesn't have many people to show it to, outside of his very small friend circle. Afraid of getting too close to other people, lest he be jaded, Sasha doesn't associate with others a whole lot. But when he's decided that you're his friend, a warmer, gentler giant begins to emerge. He values close bonds above all else, making his friends the most important things in his life. He doesn't have many, but those he does have, he'd protect with his life.

Appearance:

Sasha is a very large, muscular man. He stands at six foot seven, has pale skin and dirty blonde hair that is kept in a neat buzz cut. His eyes are a gray-ish blue, and usually cold in appearance. They go just right with his perpetual frown. Sasha has several tattoos. His most notable tattoos are a compass that points West on his left chest, and a line of words in Russian on his arm. The words are now difficult to read due to a scar from a knife wound that runs right through the middle of them.

They say you can tell a lot about a person by the scars they have, and Sasha's tell of a hard, painful life. There's a perfect line going down his lower abdomen, with dots on either side of it, left over from an emergency surgery he had to have to have bullets removed and organs repaired. On his arms, there are several slim, slightly raised scars from fights involving knives. There are an array of bald patches on his legs from where shrapnel from an road mine was removed with a pair of tweezers and rubbing alcohol. The most noticeable are the scars that cover a good portion of his back, slightly raised and faded from several laser surgeries to keep them from hindering his range of motion. They look like they were from some sort of chemical burn.

Other: Sasha speaks with a Russian accent. He speaks several European languages fluently, Russian and English being his best of course.

Skills: Your usual military training applies. He's proficient with most guns, but is particularly skilled at hand to hand combat. He also has some experience in leadership and field survival.

History:

Sasha grew up in Kazan, Russia. His mother overdosed when Sasha was 5. He was left to be raised by his father, who fell into depression after the loss of his wife. His father wasn't the kindest, and often times was neglectful. After Sasha's mother had died, he had essentially lost interest in being a father. He would often invite his loud and obnoxious friends over to watch soccer games, drink, and play poker while Sasha hid in his room and pretended not to exist. Sasha wanted to get out of the house as soon as he could, and joining the military seemed like the best option. However, Sasha had something of an authority issue when he was younger. His father's poor job of raising him had turned him into a rebellious punk.

After six years of service, Sasha slowly lost some of that punk kid attitude. He was eventually promoted to a second lieutenant and given his own, small platoon. They were deployed to Ukraine, where Sasha and his men were given orders that went against his own set of personal morals. When he refused to carry them out, he was threatened with everything in the book: treason, discharge, prison, the works. Instead, he just quit. Sasha and several of his men went AWOL. He picked up work as a mercenary, doing things that he knew he wouldn't lose sleep over. Most of the time, he does dirty work for various governments who didn't want to wait around and get things done the 'diplomatic' way.

Sasha was heading from Australia to Japan, having come straight from one job to another. He doesn't fly commercial very often, as it isn't really low profile, but that was his only option this time around. It would be just his luck that he would pick the plane that would crash.
