Secrets of Chicago
Summary: The supernatural and human 'worlds' collide when a group of seemingly unconnected humans discover that they can see the supernatural and the hidden community they have. As it will turn out, something deeper and mysterious is at play, and could spell danger for everyone...

Full Plot
Chicago. Bustling with life. Enough people that anyone would blend into the crowd. If they're not looking carefully, then no one really notices anything might be amiss. Well, that, and most people don't possess any sort of Seeing-Eye ability. But, within these crowds of people, seamlessly disguised, is a whole community of supernatural beings, going about their lives, just as busy as the humans. They even have hidden backstreets that are filled with supernatural-only stores, amenities and other buildings. For a long while, it's only been them that have access to this 'underground' society, with perhaps only a handful of human exceptions that have the aforementioned Seeing-Eye ability - a rare ability that only a very small percentage of humans have, which enables them to see through the 'veil' that supernatural beings have to disguise themselves and their communities. However, it's been 15 years since any new humans have accidentally discovered they have this ability and stumbled into the supernatural society, it's at the point that many think there will be no other humans with the ability. That all changes, though, on a seemingly regular Spring afternoon.

A group of humans, apparently unconnected, arrive in Chicago, just to spend some time in the city for varying reasons. Whether that's to spend time with family, attend an event, or just to have a city break, they soon notice that things are... off. Passers-by seem to be human, until they shimmer and reveal a very not-human appearance - which no one else seems to notice. And later on, they stumble into a backalley after not paying attention, which seems to turn into a street with rather mysterious stores and buildings that they are sure wasn't on any map.
Upon eventually meeting - with each other and the supernatural locals - they learn about the truth of their hidden ability... but it becomes clear that something drew them here all at once - but what? And... why? It seems... the humans may have more to them than they thought, and whatever subconsciously drew them here has a plan.

The old fae king was heartless and calculating, he despised humans, and the mere thought of fae and human relationships - such an act of love was considered a weakness, a deathwish in the fae realm if he ever heard. Rumour of King Vaedens' untimely death trickled across the domain like liquid gold, his oldest heir swiftly assimilating into power as ruler of the Fae Courts. Suspecting foul play from a Fae Lord or Lady within the Kings' council, the new king dabbled in a game of misdirection and blamed the humans whilst he works on finding the killer in secret. To find the culprit, he invited the humans into the fae kingdom under the guise of a treaty. The air is laced with tension as some fae still despise humans whilst others are more open to the idea.

Will the new king find the killer? Will a treaty be negotiated? Maybe new hearts might stir ....

You want to take the opportunity to explore your new surroundings and meet new people, so you decide to participate in the next one that's coming up, soon - spring. St. Patrick's Day, Easter, and the celebration of the beauty of life that spring reminds one of are some of the themes that will inspire this festival, so it sounds like something that will be fun to partake in, anyway! With a fresh start in a new place, and few to no familiar faces, you head to the local coffee shop; after all, there's nothing more comforting than heading to a coffee shop and cozying up with a cup of your beverage of choice on a rainy day like today. I'm sure that we've all seen, or heard of, at least one popular, iconic video game couple - Mario and Peach, Link and Zelda, PacMan and Ms. PacMan, and so on. Of course, those are just made up stories that are, in most aspects, totally unrealistic. But what if your relationship sort of resembled one of these iconic video game pairs? Well, sure, you certainly won't go through castles and fighting a powerful villain to save a princess, nor will you be the princess that is kidnapped by said villain and needs to be rescued, of course. However, perhaps there are more realistic similarities...after all, it’s not like reality doesn’t have challenges of its own when it comes to love. Will your relationship end with a happily ever after, or will your story end on a more bitter tone? What about unexpected and surprising twists and turns along the way? There’s only one way to find out, so let’s see who will really be your Player 2, shall we?

Deep in the woods somewhere in the north, a storm came and ravaged through the territory of a wolf pack. Forced to take cover, the wolves nestled together in one of the safest dens available, dug deepest into the ground to protect from strong winds and falling trees. The storm came and passed quickly, but the damage was devastating. The forest was essentially uninhabitable. The pack must embark on a quest to take over a new, more sturdy, mountainous territory, but not without crossing the territory of a much more massive, aggressive wolf pack and navigating through the aftermath of the storm.

people go missing all the time. entire planes appear to blink out of existence, ships leave their harbours and never reach their destinations. a car will drive upon a lonesome road at night and then simply disappear. these are the laws of the world that we live in. these are the rules. sometimes, people disappear, never to be found. sometimes, they come back, years later, with no true explanation to the cause of their absence. sometimes it takes them years to describe the little town that they found themselves in, the one with the strange rules and the stranger people. sometimes, they write stories and they become legends; the names altered and the place renamed, but ultimately, all the same. they call it elelín or they call it atlantis; they call it the wandering city or shangri-la; they call it camelot or avalon, but never its true name - perhaps out of respect for the locals they spent their days with, or perhaps out of fear for what they saw there. regardless of whether they stay or not, the town is here for the lost, as it always has been, and as long as the laws of the land are adhered to, visitors can stay for as long as they so require.
