That sounds amazing! And maybe the spikes could be special arrows. Bowmen could be the ones who shoot them into the sky, multiple people at a time. From what I’ve learned fro multiple drawings and stories, our western dragons dontbhave actual scales on their wings except where the actual bones are that make up the wing’s shape. It’s more like a membrane like our skin though still slightly stronger, so very sharp and strong arrows could rear the holes in the wings. Also I gotta agree, worldbuilding is so much fun, especially with a team of people doing it!
