- Not one to overthink things, Pigeonpelt is more the sort to take life as it comes. He tries his best to be a good clan member to his fellow Brookclan cats. Pigeonpelt prefers not to get too wrapped up in conflict, but also avoids apathy and remains in the grey area between the two. Thus, he tends to give the impression of a hardy youngster who keeps his nose clean and never lets his responsibilities go un-tended-to for long, but is otherwise unremarkable. Pigeonpelt's one major flaw is that he never thinks about anything. That is not say he is rash or unintelligent, exactly, but he fails to consider anything on a truly deep and substantial level. A philosopher, he is not. Pigeonpelt often forms opinions based on incomplete information without acknowledging the possibility that he might have misunderstood the circumstances surrounding such situations. He takes things at face value where there is evidence to be gleaned and can come off as a bit thoughtless to those cats who do value deep contemplation and firmly-considered opinions. Without being overtly aware of it, Pigeonpelt is the sort to perpetuate rumors, or even start them altogether. He could really stand to gain in wisdom and ability to see things from other cats' points of view. The good news is that Pigeonpelt is still quite young and there is plenty of time for him to become more mature and grounded before his mannerisms solidify into adult habits. If he can manage to find a cat or two to guide him, Pigeonpelt might well change. The question is whether that will end up happening.

- With a solid coat of blue-grey fur the same color as a pigeon's feathers, it came as no surprise when this kit was named after the bird. Pigeonkit had no other siblings of his own, but he never seemed to mind. Before he knew it, he was old enough to become an Apprentice, and as soon as he did, Pigeonpaw dedicated himself to his training with a newfound sense of purpose. Little distracted him from his training. That is, except for one thing. Ever since Pigeonpaw was very young, he has held a likely not-so-secret fascination for Twoface. At first, he found the tom's disfigurement quite frightening, but he quickly learned that while Twoface might look different, he is still just as much a member of Brookclan as anyone else. When the fear faded, however, Pigeonpaw became just plain awkward. Twoface still disturbs him on a subconscious level, but he is also determined to be a good, accepting clanmember. Unfortunately, Pigeonpaw never figured out how to go about putting his ideals into action. As a result, he tends to be a tangled mess of painfully obvious attempts not to stare while simultaneously being a little too nice to be genuine. Even after receiving his Warrior name, Pigeonpelt has not gotten much better at interacting with Twoface.
Fortunately, not all of his relationships are so strained and awkward, though making friends has never been Pigeonpelt's strong point. In fact, he probably has more rivalries than friendly acquaintances. For example, Pigeonpelt is not much a fan of Duskpelt, of Oakclan. Duskpelt is strong, brave, and stunningly handsome and since he comes from another clan, Pigeonpelt sees nothing wrong with letting his envy show a little bit at gatherings. If these two run into each other at a gathering, there are likely to be some angry glances exchanged back and forth.
Pigeonpelt once ran into another Oakclan cat while she was out on a walk, and that meeting did not go much better. Hornetsting was a little grumpy and irritating, but since she was an Elder, Pigeonpelt could not justifiably run her off from the border the same way he could with a young, fit cat. Fortunately, they have not seen each other since.
Then, there's Liontail of Thornclan. Pigeonpelt heard a rumor that Liontail only became a Medicine Cat to spite his parents, who were hoping he would grow up to be an impressive Warrior. Pigeonpelt is not sure if that rumor is true, but if it is, it has to mean Liontail is one selfish, spoiled brat! Why else would he make such a big decision just to violate his parents' wishes?
It is safe to say Pigeonpelt is not one for friendly cross-clan relationships, but there is one secret exception. Swiftstep, the Deputy of Thornclan is a she-cat Pigeonpelt finds stunningly beautiful. Of course, even if he thought he had a chance with her, he would never dream of trying to mate with a cat from another clan, but that does not stop him from admiring her from a distance and entertaining a fantasy or two every once in awhile, in the privacy of his imagination.
Starclan must have noticed that Pigeonpelt's life was full of strained relationships and petty rivalries, because a single friend appeared at the border one day. Initially, Pigeonpelt was hesitant about accepting a strange kit into Brookclan, but as time went on, he came to think of her more and more as a true member of Brookclan. Now that Sootpaw is an Apprentice, he spends a lot more time with her, and he thinks of her as the little sister he never had. Pigeonpelt loves to pass on his best hunting and fighting tips, and he finds her ambition to prove herself to be quite infectious. She inspires him to be better too.
