i wonder who amaryllis would go well with. i'm not really sure tbh. she's way younger than all of the other characters, so it's kinda confusing..

Oop, I actually had someone pm me not too long ago about that Kanto spot so I need to reserve that for em.

Also for some reason this shipping talk got me thinking of songs that remind me of each of my characters so I thought I'd share

I myself have three songs. One for Kanoa and one for each of the pairings.

Kanoa- The River by Imagine Dragons; he isn't selfish, but he's not wholly selfless either. He is the kind of person who takes everything as it comes and finds the good things within the bad.

Vivoa- Accidentally in Love by Counting Crows; if they did fall in love, it would be completely on accident. And by the time they each realized how they felt, it would be too late to go back. No matter how stubborn they are, they would eventually have to surrender to love.

Kaitlyn- Hero by Enrique Iglesias; as you put it, she would be frightened if he could see past her insecurities and realize how broken she is on the inside. Stubborn as he is, though, Kanoa would remain by Caitlyn's side and try to help her put the pieces together. A love like that would never be immediate, but it would probably be based on interactions that help her heal without him being overbearing.

Gold-Erika: Say You Like Me by We The Kings - Something sweet and fitting of both their personalities. Gold would stick around and wait for Erika to just tell him how she feels and "I'm never gonna leave" would be a direct comfort to not leaving like her brother had done. She would be the one to make Gold a rather steady boy rather than the wild child that he currently is

Gold-Chevy: One More Night by Maroon 5 - I could see them as a very dysfunctional pairing that somehow can't get enough of each other. They'd certainly be a fiery pair and Gold would definitely hate him for ever falling for someone who works for Team Clone, but he'd probably think he could sway her out of it. He'd definitely keep telling himself he's gonna cut it off everyday it goes on though. It never would happen though

Red-Dawn: Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney - Even though Red seems quite cold and at times emotionless, he'd definitely have a soft spot and not want to mess things up with someone he says having a special kind of personality. Dawn would balance him out given that she's a researcher while he's a battler. Plus she cracks him out of his shell a bit which others have failed to do

Caitlyn-Kanoa: All of Me by John Legend - Caitlyn would appreciate having someone who might love her for all the little imperfections that she beats herself up over. Even though they might clash sometimes due to stubbornness, the relationship overall would be gentle and Caitlyn would see a comfort she never had before. It would become a healing process for her

Caitlyn-Edrick: Close by Nick Jonas ft Clove - Caitlyn would feel challenged by Edrick's flirtiness and feel that she would need to compete in some manner. She'd find herself getting closer to him than anyone else and find a side of herself that she might not have known about

Chevy-Gold: Is There Somewhere, by Halsey ]] Honestly I think she would be head over heels for him as soon as she met him. They'd get in a lot of arguments, definitely a couple that wouldn't seem to last, but would probably be stronger than anything.

Vivian-Kanoa: Be Together, by Major Lazer ]] Like SnowBranwen said, it would be completely on accident, yet they're both too stubborn to let it be true. Really, they'd be fighting about it, and she'd be hesitant due to her issues with others. In all honesty, she's really just scared of being sheltered and not allowed to do things others could.

Edrick-Caitlyn: My Love, by Kuba Oms ]] Ed would find himself captivated, and unused to the feeling, he'd play it off like it was nothing, and act like his regular self around others. Yet, he'd really put all of his heart and soul into Cait, make sure she's happy, safe, protected.

here's my characters' songs:

erika - the background by third eye blind
this song is literally about somebody's lover/friend leaving them for unknown reasons. it fits her situation with ichirou perfectly! if you look at the lyrics you'll probably see what i mean.

amaryllis - mama didn't raise no fool by swing out sister
this song represents how amaryllis's father left her, lilith, and janice (basically he married another woman instead of lilith). it left the three to work together, and amaryllis realizes that after her father leaves her it was meant to be that way. after the events of the song, she is sent to acrea. it sort of ties into the roleplay timeline.

Your choice for Kaitlyn is so much better than mine. It's just such a heartfelt song that shows off a more honest and gentle side that Kanoa has difficulty expressing.
