An explorer at heart, Tully was often on the receiving end of worried chastisement when he'd slither home at the end of the day, ebony pelt coated in mud and those bright brown visionaries sparkling with satisfaction. He could hold his own, being decently sized, but he’s nothing crazy. Most of the males in this pack would consider him average. This brute was a high ranking wolf in a pack far from this one, where all females were expected to be perfect, quiet, and lacking of emotion. They were expected to be under him, and he was expected to treat them accordingly. Tully was rebellious from birth, he longed for more than what was in front of him. His parents tried to curb him of this, telling him frightening stories of what lay beyond the borders of safety. Taloose listened intently, but it only made him more curious. He’d keep on trekking through the woods. As a result, he was constantly pushed around by the other males. Not only because of his curiosity and odd behavior, but because of the gentleness and kindness he offered the females. A male could do as he pleased with a female. Tully was wrong- they would say; Tully didn’t act as a dominating male should. The insults piled up, leading to Taloose relentlessly defending one of the females against a disrespectful brute. As a result, his mother and father were killed for baring such defective spawn, and he was chased from the territory. No matter. This had always been what he desired. He knew his destiny was somewhere on the horizon, and that he would find a purpose soon enough. However, the life of a loner proved to be too much. After a hunting accident that left Tully with a folded ear, he ran into this new group of peculiar wolves. He was nearly chased off once more for his dark pelt color, but once they realized what a skilled knight he could make, they reluctantly accepted him in. Eventually, Tully was able to achieve his purpose in serving the royal family as a squire. Even now, he still comes home at the end of the day covered in debris with bright eyes and a swinging tail, always ready for the next great adventure.
