silverstar is truly not a female to be messed with. she is a
born leader whose strengths are many, but whose flaws still
exist too. her love and loyalty for her clan know no bounds.
if she ever feels there is a traitor within her midst, she will
not fear calling for blood to be spilled. in her mind, the clan
is only strong if it is dedicated to each other. weaknesses
must be openly examined and improved upon, or they will
rip apart the clan instead of uniting it. silverstar may appear
very harsh to some, but she is not cruel or unfair. she does
all things for the good of the clan, even if many do not see
that right away, ultimately she believes they will understand
her reasoning and accept what must be done.

silverstar was born into this clan, to the previous leader driftstar and
his mate, who was a prior rogue turned 'warrior'. she was born to a litter
of three, the only girl of the trio, but her brothers were both weak and sick,
and no matter what the med cat tried to do to save them, both passed
away before reaching a year's age. her mother shut silverstar out at
that point, hardly even acknowledging her daughters presence most
days. her father was not exactly a doting or loving tom, more focused
on his power and manipulating those around him than anything. the
previous deputy died in a tragic 'accident', and he named silverstar the
new deputy, to keep it within the family. and then he left, with her mother
and several other followers in tow, leaving her to pick up the pieces.
