Born in the wake of the horrible winter, CreekStep was born hearing tales
of the dead who helped their clan get as far as it did. She was taught tha
t at any moment the horrible bare-leaf could start again and she would h
ave to give her all to keep the young and mothers alive. As an apprentice
she became a master of the waters that filled their territory. She shirked
her mentor most mornings, to be found in the water, swimming through t
he water, diving down and returning to the surface with fish. As a warrior
she always gave her best to those around her, always busy working and al
ways eager to please. She was more than proud to have given birth to tw
o toms, EgretStream and AmmilStar. She is now an elder and frail.

EgretStream, or just plain Egret has never been a team player. He is sarca
stic, disloyal and rebellious. From a young age he dreamed of getting awa
y from the clan; viewing his apprenticeship not as learning to help his clan
but instead as learning how to fend for himself. After receiving his full na
me he fled the clan leaving to explore. He became a known figure within r
ogue groups as a do-gooder and kind soul who was wise beyond his years a
nd always willing to offer help to those who needed it. He kept a vivid me
mory of the passing moons and as the weather began to change for the wo
rse he returned to his home, his only goal to ensure his mother didn't die t
o her clan-mates disinterest in keeping their history alive.

hey!
the names dormir, formally known as sleeper/sleep if any of you may remember me. i'm very excited to be a part of a group roleplay again, as i've recently returned from a relatively long hiatus of nearly 10 months. it's a pleasure to meet most of you, and i look forward to getting to know more about your characters throughout the course of the roleplay.

my character is milkflower, and i'm currently hoping to fill in some relations for her! i will list what i'm looking for below:
• two siblings, either gender. one sibling is currently available!
• a potential love interest.
• a former best friend that strayed away from her due to her seizures.
• friends . . . enemies . . . hateships . . . pretty much anything!

quoting for new members, as i'm still looking to fill in some relationships. as my character is the medicine cat, i imagine she must have chatted with each clan member at least once - especially with the current situation. feel free to make any suggestions! i'm open to almost anything, even if it isn't listed above.

@dormir CreekStep loves kits and most likely was there to assist with MilkFlower's birth as well as most of the kits since then. I can see her as a friend of MilkFlower's mother and a auntie like figure to milk.
As for EgretStream; after his warrior ceremony he up and left the clan one night only to return 15 moons later. He went off to explore knowing his mother would be in good hands, but knowing the clan's policy on elders he returned to make sure she would survive as long as possible during the coming bare-leaf. So I doubt there will be any strong relations between him and his clan-mates.

@Turpitude up to you but AmmilStar could be CreekStep's son and Egret's sibling?

i imagine so, @destinytwilight. unless milkflower's mother, whitefern gets adopted (i will be adding her to my relations list shortly), then it will be said that she has passed due to a lack of physical strength and health to survive the harsh conditions the clan is being faced with. if no other elders are created - unless ncp's are added, that being - creekstep will definitely be the eldest, most knowledgeable, and milkflower will definitely look to her for advice and the like . . especially since she is a fairly young medicine cat already bearing the weight of an apprentice on her shoulders.
as for egretstream, i don't think that milkflower is subject to forming a bond with him considering his personality type. i'd have to agree that given his history, he likely doesn't have too much of a relationship with her at all. though, he bound to have stayed at least a few days in her den after his return - that being if his shape upon arrival wasn't very sightly (he looks like a strong little guy, aha. so please let me know if he arrived safe and well!) given this, i'm not entirely sure on how my character will act around yours, though they shouldn't be completely strangers to eachother - if you catch my drift.

i do have a few important questions, @turp, if you don't mind me asking! given ammilstar is still a fairly young molly, i assume she hasn't been a leader for more than 15 or so moons. what was the name of the previous leader? how did their death come to be? and am i free to make up a backstory for milkflower's former mentor, who i assume passed as well likely due to old age? it is also mentioned that medicine cats are among top priority when it comes to food rations - how many would you say milkflower will be permitted?

stagroar is an elegant tomcat with a light chocolate pelt color, sharp facial features, and milky, yellow-brown eyes. he's long-legged and muscular, towering over all with his short chocolate pelt, broad chest, and constant smirk. the tom's coat is soft but short, and shows off his muscles, which he can't say he doesn't enjoy. stagroar has large, nicked ears and a few scars that adorn his body, the most prominent of them being one across his back. he has long white whiskers sprouting from an angular face, a pale pink nose with a flash of grayish white above it, and unreadable, almond-shaped, yellow-brown eyes. he smells of chestnuts and fallen leaves.
behind the name
"stag" is for his tall brown body and the kingly way he carries himself. "roar" comes from the tom's deep mew and explosive temper.
characteristics and personality
stagroar is . . . charming, gentlemanly, cunning, articulate, kind ; confusing, impulsive, manipulative, superficial ; powerful, stubborn, hot-tempered, unpredictable.
extras and history
• the chocolate-colored warrior is one of the most confusing cats you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. he's confident and has a gentlemanly feel about him, but at the same time, he has a way with words that tends to lead to destruction. stagroar has a honey tongue, but make him angry or frustrated and, well . . . he'll have no problem letting some figurative fur fly. his words can build a cat up just as easily as they can drag a cat down and make them lower than dirt, to put it simply. • this cat is full of surprises, and here is the biggest one: he can process loyalty and affection, and knows how to express it. so, not a complete jerk after all! here's the catch though: he has a sort of . . . split personality. stagroar can truly be kind to others and be a good guy. he can make you feel good about yourself versus tearing you down! he just chooses who he spends his time with carefully; his own image and how cats view him is important, and he doesn't want to get caught hanging with the wrong crowd. but if he genuinely likes and trusts you, you'll never have to deal with his rude, snobby side. (maybe his stubbornness, though, not going to lie.) some cats will be privileged enough to see this more vulnerable side to him, but they are few and far between. you have to be super special to avoid his flashing teeth and scorn. • charming, this broad-chested brute knows just how to carry himself and just what to say in any situation; stagroar shows prosperity and intellect in every line. even when he is seized by anger, frustration, or annoyance, these "filler attributes" are still present with each stride. to explain, he can compliment you or be polite even if he wants to tear your face off, or he can say something really degrading, but soften it with his word choice. this makes him a strange guy, and all-in-all a figure that's difficult to read, but it does nothing to take away how smart he truly is . . . and, maybe, just maybe, how fake he is, too. • he does things his own way, and doesn't take kindly to those that want to help him or those that are bold enough to try to change his opinion on matters. they usually just end up getting burned by the spirited, independent flames that are constantly smoldering around this cat. even with friends, stagroar may resist assistance and forge ahead. • stagroar's favorite food is toad, and he has the habit of kneading his claws and bending down to talk to cats if they're shorter than him (which most are).
