Aspen's quite the conniving individual, pulling various feats for her own enjoyment. While she isn't cruel in the least, she doesn't often take into consideration other's situations nor feelings. She uses her magic to confuse and frustrate the other guests, also using her status as the portal crafter to get her out of most trouble. She'll place portals in innocent locations, the guests unknowingly walking through them to find themselves somewhere they are unfamiliar with (normally still on the property). She loves a good laugh, but crude humor is more of her thing. While she's very social, she finds it difficult to hang onto friends, both because she remains in the manor and her abrasive personality.

She's got a raccoon named Bandit, which technically isn't her pet, but she treats him as one all the same. Aspen spoils him beyond belief, allowing him into the manor and wherever else she may go. He's incredibly thrifty, stealing various items and sometimes tearing things apart. He loves attention, even if it may be negative.

The young witch barely knew the owners when the manor started up; they came to her for her craft. She's pretty much got the tenure of residency. Unless she does something seriously wrong, she won't be going anywhere, and has a free place to crash. The hotel relies on her for their pathways back and forth from civilization and other magical outlets, as well as anywhere else they may need to go.

appearance; a tall, lean man with the figure of a teenager, terry's appearance is translucent and near colourless. which isn't a surprise - he is a ghost after all. he's roughly five feet ten inches, give or take a few (it's hard to correctly measure him as he's usually floating above the floorboards), and weighs absolutely nothing. the lad is a handsome one, with regal, intelligent features, and green eyes so light that they could be considered pearls. the male has a beauty spot beneath his left iris, like a circular droplet of paint, along with a few more spots. terry's hair is dark and somewhat shaggy for the time he died in. perpetually messy, his waves are styled in nineteenth century's equivalent of bedhead. as a ghost, he wears the clothes he died in. in terry's case, he wore a three-piece suit, jacket, pinstripe waistcoat, and trousers. oh, and a monocle. how fasionable! all of which probably were brown in tone, along with his ankle lace-up shoes. he often can be spotted carrying around a bowler hat and cane. as the ensemble was the clothes he died in, he can never actually change his outfit. however, terry is capable of setting down his hat and cane for periods of time, and can also wear layers over his suit when he's in a more solid form.

personality; he's a pretty cheerful cook. one hundred years of living the dead life certainly haven't put a dampener of the male's spirit, as he tries to find a way to be witty regardless of the situation at hand. at times, however, he does come off as awkward and misinformed at times; he absolutely is horrible at reading the atmosphere. terry's always open as a shoulder for one to cry on, and is more than willing to provide help when asked. the boy literally can't say no, and so he rarely does. terry's a bit of a pushover. he constantly feels as if he has the need to prove himself - to the guests and residents at the manor alike - which has let to some reckless choices on his part in the past.

history; born at the turn of the century, young terrence chamberlin was to be the heir of his father's booming culinary business in london. as a lad, he lived in comfort, in a well-off neighborhood along with his elder sisters, and younger brothers. course, terry doesn't really remember his past life - it's all a blank. as a teen, he was known as the guy who had numerous sweethearts, due to his aforementioned inability to say no. in fact, he was rushing to meet up with one of his lovers when he was struck down by an automobile, shortly after the sun rose one morning. terry died before the onslaught of the world war, however as his spirit stuck around for some reason. unaware of his abilities to affect the environment, he wandered around up until the start of world war one, a shell of his former self, a creature who lacked motivation and emotion. at that point terry was reunited with his brother, who was the first to strike a chord of emotion in him for the longest while. unable to figure out why he was drawn to the buck-toothed man, terry stuck along, and vowed to keep him safe. when the latter was polled for the war, and terry traveled across the world with john, who was unaware of his guardian ghost.

a couple close calls later and the war had ended, though his sibling was one of many afflicted by ptsd. it was during the wartime that the ghost discovered he held the ability to influence things - could move objects, teleport, and even posses animal if he had the concentration and energy! although, many of his early attempts had him 'fading' in which he disappeared into an empty void for a certain amount of time to recharge his ghost batteries. terry followed his sibling, john, back to london, where the latter a woman who bore him two children. though the marriage didn't last long - john's wife was an absolute miserable woman. for years terry lingered by his sibling's side, watching as he grew old and feeble. though, the lonely hours gave him many chances to extend his abilities, and extend them even further. when john passed of age and terry was alone once more, he eventually found his way to the manor. from there, he implored to be the cook, and has lived there ever since.

Odesza is a very calm, easy-going person, hard to anger. She is very
frank with what she feels/wants. O is a very formal individual and
sweet appearing. Do not let this fool you, she will snap your arm if
you threaten her loved ones, being fiercely protective. Especially
family. She will not blink before killing someone if a situation comes
to it. To add to this, she has never had the need for nor understands
romantic love. She has only ever had the need for familial or platonic.
Contrary to this, she was raised to be respectful and graceful. She is
an open book, but you won't find out her secrets as she only lets out
what she wants known. The little lady is very much down to earth and

Jupiter is an aloof individual, barely showing
any emotion. He seems unapproachable and
unreadable. With strangers, he is ... civil. With
friends, he is much more at ease when talking
even with his apathetic attitude. Jupiter wasn't
always so occluded. He used to be very temper
mental and emotional. He still has a temper tho.
Since he was a child, he closed himself off to
protect his sister. Jupiter is one of the types to
take charge. He has a secret soft side for children
or people younger than him. Deathly protective of
anyone he considers family. Built a wall around his
heart. He seems completely oblivious or unphased
by flirting. Don't flirt with his sister or give him
oranges. Only shows emotion around O or Faolon,

@kylo ren , You're only allowed one power per character, as stated in the rules. Smaller or lesser powers that come along with the species is allowed, but not two main ones. You can choose either super strength or invulnerability for Harleen, but not both.

** Abilities: Nothing extraordinary. Flight. Razor-sharp talons and serated throat-facing teeth. They do not have magical abilities (but can sense if someone does), though Hickory was trained in 1x1 combat and flight. He can also read.

They are not residents, but live on the outskirts of the woods surrounding the residence.)

Other: Before his sister came along, he was part of a society called the greater harpies. Here he was treated with respect for his pure heritage and taught the best schooling. He learned to read and excelled in combat, and rose in the ranks of his flock to guard, one of the most respected ranks. But then one evening a harpy was brought into the flock for judgement, captured during a raid in a lesser harpy establishment. And upon further investigation he discovered the individual to be his sister. When word got out, he was demoted immediately and stripped of his status. Everything he'd ever known was taken from him in an instant. But he couldn't bring himself to hate his sister. So one night they escaped and they eventually found their way to this new site, where they were more-or-less welcomed to stay and hide.

Other: When she was still an egg, a flock of starling harpies (of the lesser harpy community) stole her egg in a raid. She grew up in this society, raised by those that questioned their self-worth on a daily basis, and treated her somewhat unequally. When the camp was raided by greater harpies, she was "rescued" and brought into their community where she met a harpy of the same looks and age as her. But she had been raised to fear them and the others sensed this, attacking her and forcing her into submission. She was demoted to the lowest rank: custodial work and was treated as an omega until the harpy from before revealed himself to be her brother. They escaped together and didn't look back. But now she has the constant worry that they are looking for them still, and fears being alone for very long, afraid she'll be abducted by then again.
