personality ; cheif's personality is heavily based on his history. he is stern and
strong as well as being level headed. he does challenge the higher ranks at times, also
due to his history and can be aggressive towards others if they give him the same
treatment, if they question him, or make him feel either humiliated or threatened in
any way he will be quick to defend himself.
he is loyal and whats whats best for the pack overall. he doesn't 'love' like most, he
doesn't act flirtatious nor is he effected by that type of behaviour. he is more effected
by sophisticated conversations. he will protect he one[s] he loves with his life and will
defend them more so than most other dogs to compensate for his lack of conventional
'loving' nature. this is related to his fear of abandonment, if he doesn't open up and
make himself vulnerable because its makes it harder to be left/leave if he does that.
history ; his history if full of abandonment, but it didn't start that way. the
first year or so of his life was spent in a police dog training facility but was didn't quite
make the cut due to being slightly too aggressive and not picking up the 'leave it'
command. after this is was put up for adoption and was taken home by a lovely 'family'
but it turned out that they were paid by a dog fighting ring. in this time of his life he
became tormented and scarred. they saw his downside and used it for bad. a few months
later [1.5 yrs approx] he was rescued. underweight and terrified he slowly began to trust
again, but not fully. his aggression became better limited to how it is now. it took a few
months to get adopted but was taken home by a young single man. they became the best
of friends. after a few more months [2.5 yrs approx] he noticed that his owner began to
seem more and more sad. he then said goodbye to him before locking himself away followed
by a bang. he lay outside the door for days before police broke in. they put a slip lead on his
and began to take him towards a car he'd seen before... the shelter. the constant distress
and barking and pain and... he bolted and never came back. after a few weeks of starving
and wandering he found the pack. they took him in and he regained his strength.

decided to make another dog, and decided against making a vallhund he's still a shorty though
