Kat has always known her place in the world and how to use it to her advantage. She loves to win and can't stand to have someone beat her at anything. Her quick wit and charming attitude are very enticing and she always managed to have a lot of friends throughout high school. Her ego gets in her way quite often and she always needs someone there to remind her she isn't the most amazing person out there. Kat takes failure to heart and it hits her pretty hard. She uses that to become better at whatever it is she fails at, showing her incredible persistence, almost to the point of stubbornness. Kat is a very smooth talker and knows how to get her way, but deep down she is really genuine and is always there when people need her. She has always had very clear goals from a very young age and doesn't let anything get in the way of those aspirations. Kat is undeniably one of the cleverest young ladies of her generation, her fast mind and immaculate problem-solving skills are evidence of this.

Originally from Soho, Manhattan, Kat had a fairly easy life. Her parents supported her every academic and sporting endeavour, whether it was the Math Talent Quest or trials for Manhattan Youth Downtown Basketball League. All throughout her schooling career, Kat was Dux of nearly every subject, except for Art. She ended up Valedictorian (can change) and was receiving offers from colleges long before graduation. After high school, Katherine immediately up and left her hometown to study engineering at MIT. It had always been her plan, but carrying it out ended up being one of the hardest decisions of her life. Her heart told her to stay, but the rational, logical part of her won as it always did and whisked her off to Massachusetts.
