honeynose is fairly young, (18 m.) so i think it would totally be realistic for lightningtail to have mentored her

as a young kit, around five moons old, the she-cat was abandoned by her birth parents. her gentleness turned into a flame; a storm. once named mouse, she changed her name to thunder. she was traveling through a light part of the forest, and was attacked by a golden-maned tom-cat. the six-moon-old she-cat fought with all her strength, but her opponent was, unbeknownst to her, was a trained clan cat. he quickly shoved her into the swirling river ending the duel she had been losing badly. as her head disappeared underneath the deadly water, she felt a sharp grip at her neck. and gentle queen had rescued the flailing, drowning kit. apprenticed into the clan, she grew stronger, and faster and awaited for the day she would meet the golden-maned tom cat again.

Clovertail just wants true love. Shes all about fairy tales, love at first site, happy endings, and all that crap lol. The minute she feels he has eyes elsewhere she's gonna be destroyed (and he will be dead to her XD)
