smokeclan have been living in the forest and their m
eadow for many moons. their territory is prone to fir
e in the summer and as such, the clan is very adapt
at surviving through the dry season. they were foun
ded by a clan cat of unknown origin, known as Grey
star. the tom made the clan what is is today. they h
ave strong beliefs in starclan and make frequent vis
its to their connection site with their ancestors. the
y follow the warrior code and are teaching it to the
waspclan cats. they have the two prefix name for t
heir names that change as they grow and obtain dif
ferent ranks within the clan. they are suspicious of
outsiders and are still wary of the waspclan cats.

waspclan are a newly formed clan that is made up of
rogues and their descendants. it was formed by a for
mer rogue known as wasp. wasps's lineage continues
to lead the clan to this day - his the great-grandson o
f wasp. the clan is more clan like now than rogue-like
but continue to keep their one prefix name. in many
cases, kits remain unnamed until they are older and
begin to develop specific traits and skills that they ar
e named after. they do not believe is starclan and ins
tead rely on thier leader and healer for guidance and
wisdom - the clan is known for dethroning leaders an
d healers who cannot provide them with the answers
for situations that the clan itself cannot understand.

thrust into the role of leader at the sudden death of his father, hornet is the leader of
waspclan. he is charismatic and loyal to his clan and their ways of life, but is still eager
to learn about clan ways and improve relations between his clan and smokeclan.
born a strong young kit, his father chose him from his litter to succeed him after his
death. he was trained from a very young age to be political, dominant and confident
in his decisions. as an apprentice, he fell during training and injured his hips. he made
a full recovery but his hips can be a bit stiff in winter or on cold mornings. since his
father's death he made arangements with the smokeclan leader to live visit their clan
often so he could learn more about clan ways. then icetail was found murdered. and
he was the one they accused of the heinous act. convinced he and his clan were not
to blame he set about to prove his innocence. tension runs high among he and his
clanmates, as well as between the smokeclan leader and himself. he is desperate to
secure peace for his clanmates and is willing to mate a smokeclan she-cat according
to prophecy, even though he does not believe in the word or laws of starclan.

Locke is a sandy colored classic tabby she-cat with deep brown eyes. There is white around her neck, on her chest, underbelly, paws, and tail. Her fur is thick, especially on her chest and tail, yet not too long. Under that thick fur is a quite lanky cat with a small body that looks like it's on stilts with her long legs and delicate small paws. At first glance, Locke looks (and acts) like a kit with her small frame and large imagination. She's a quirky little thing that can often be found playing by herself and talking to imaginary friends. She has a habit of chewing on stuff due to being separated from her mother at an early age and often can be seen with a small twig or leaf sticking out of her mouth. If she were told about Starclan, she'd be quick to believe in them due to her eccentric beliefs of afterlife. Lock is a very friendly young cat who's not afraid to show who she is and doesn't care what others think of her.

Locke was born to a barn cat along with another sister and two brothers. The family lived in a large barn with many other cats including queens and their kits, some being family and some not. Her mother and another queen, both kind she-cats named Spring and Lila, cared for their combined litters (seven in total, they were close in age). If one mother needed a break or wanted to hunt the other would watch and nurse the kits. They eventually decided to let the kits venture out of the barn under watchful eyes. However, the resident farm dogs caught sight of the kits and killed Locke's siblings. She wasn't killed but the dog caused a long scar that runs from her ear to her chest. Spring, scared that her remaining kitten would die at the barn, brought Locke to Waspclan where Spring knew her family lived. She raised Locke until she didn't need her mother anymore then returned to the barn. Leaving Locke under the care of Hornet and Spruce.

Meet Valerianheart, a lovely, twenty-seven moons old, warrior and soon to be Queen of Smokeclan. Her prefix 'Valerian-' stands for a type of flowering plant that blooms sweetly scented white flower clumps, hence her beautiful, snow-white fur that rests at a medium length. She has lithe frame with lightly toned muscle underneath her soft, white pelt as well as large yellow-green eyes and a pale, pink nose to stand apart. By many within the clan she may be considered to be very breath-taking, inside and out. Her suffix '-heart' stands for courage, confidence and compassion, but we'll talk about this later on. Valerianheart has the scent of sweet vanilla with just a small hint of cinnamon and always has a flowing stride, being rather light on her soft paws.
Valerianheart was born to two loyal warriors of Smokeclan, a beautiful white she-cat named Whiteflower and a handsome brown and white tom named Eagleclaw. They had two kits known as Valeriankit and her brother/sister, __kit. Valeriankit has always been very family orientated, loving her tight-knit family and doing all she could to please them. She was just the slightest bit of an attention hog and longed to be everything her mother was. Valeriankit had kept that promised right from the beginning and continues to do so even now. This lovely she-cat was rather shy when she was a young Apprentice, but easily broke out of her shell with the help of her talkative mentor, Browntail, who taught her things beyond fighting. He told her to always speak before using your claws and she continues to remember that moment. She had a rather average life, until her parents were killed by Waspclan cat, banned from disrespecting the ways of Smokeclan. Valerianheart was absolutely crushed about it and started to take a disliking to Waspclan cats, but she tried to best to never show it. That was until, Hornet had come along and Icetail was found, dead. When Valerianheart was chosen by Starclan to become mates with the tom, she fought to change her destiny and still does. The molly doesn't want to be confined to such a tom and believes that Waspclan was to blame for the mess. She refuses to believe that he loves her no matter if she loved him or not.
Valerianheart has always been very kind, loyal, and welcoming to those specifically in the clan. She is rather skeptical of outsiders, especially Hornet and doesn't see how mating with a molly could possibly clear a name. Maybe on the inside she has feelings for the tom, but Valerianheart hides them far down, replacing them with disgust and an edge of anger. Although, she can be rather naive and sweet, she tends to be short-tempered around toms who try to flirt with her.
Valerianheart's mate will be/is Hornet of Waspclan, although she isn't quite happy about it and her brother/sister is the guilty.

smog may be leader, but he has his quirks just
like any other cat. he tends to come off harsh to some
cats, but if you cross paths with smog, his first instinct
is to be kind. he may be leader, but he knows he cannot
be like his father was to innocent members of the clan.
he treats his clan members like kin, nurturing but strict
at times needed. he is one to be chill, and he almost
never gives terrible punishments. (Unless you kill a
clan leader of course!!) smog is somewhat socially
awkward, he doesn't notice if mollies try to flirt
with him or if someone is trying to be nice. he
often stutters and many cats thinks he's a
complete embarrassment. even if he's hard with words,
he is an amazing fighter and a very skilled hunter.

Many cats always dream of being leader
of Smokeclan, but smog was one of very few
who thought otherwise. his father, Icetail was
a strong and powerful leader, he was often
grumpy and rude to other cats. tiny smog
never thought of having to be a leader,
since he had only one sister, he was
naturally chosen since his sister was
weaker and sick. all he had to worry
about as a kit was making sure to fill
up that tiny belly full of warm milk.
but his father was weaker then ever
before. he was still leader until
little smog was a warrior. he was
short after killed, and smog was
chosen as the leader. many
cats didn't know what happened
because smog doesn't open up
to many cats, but his other family
'died' to unknown causes to most
cats. but they left this life to live
as a kittypet and they left
poor smog to protect this clan
as if his life depended on it.
and it depended on many others
too.
