i forgot to mention!!!

shifters, when in their animal form, can communicate telepathically
that is to say, basically, that they can speak to each other using their minds
it is a gift that every shifter has (and is pretty necessary for the rp to work lol)

however, it only works in the animal form. so while in your shift you can speak
telepathically, in your human form, you cannot (you have to use your words!)
