ok, you read that in a different way as to how I wrote it. what I meant was that soldier's herd is small (with just one mare, water lily) meaning that he wouldn't be a primary target and it would be foolish of any stallion to challenge him when he's only got one mare, as oppose to challenging a stallion with more mares. when I said in his prime and experienced, that was directed at all stallions, not just levi.
also, this role play is realistic, meaning that just because a stallion is taller and/or stronger, it doesn't mean that they will win. for example, soldier would be faster and agiler than levi, making him difficult for levi (who is stronger, but also not as swift or agile) to fight. of course, in theory, if it came to a fight where they had to use brute strength, levi would be able to win with ease. however, fights are not based purely on strength and age. experience also plays a part, but I can't really use levi as an example here seeing as his history hasn't been filled out yet and so I don't know how long he's been in the wild for. also, chance, such as tripping over or stumbling during a fight plays a part.
