•HISTORY•
Before the humans disappeared, Cleo was a champion show horse showing mainly in western pleasure. Her owners did have plans to possibly breed her in her future but never got the chance to before disappearing. Until their disappearance, Cleo was simply a show horse and beloved family pet in her free time. Her owner's daughter loved to groom and play with her anytime she got the chance. When the humans disappeared, Cleo was in a very large pasture with one other mare. Cleo didn't leave the pasture for a long time. The pasture was large enough to provide enough food to sustain both Cleo and her friend pretty well, and it had a large pond in it as their water source. Cleo lost some conditioning, but she was fine. It's not like she could leave even if she wanted too, the gates were closed, her owners had put up good fencing, so good not even the pesky stallions could get in, hard as they tried, and there were not many trees along the fence line. Last year though, during the horrible winter storm that messed up the peaceful order of many herds, one of the few trees by the fence finally gave out and landed on top of the fencing. Eventually, Cleo discovered the weakness in the fence and calmly picked herself over the mess. Gradually, grazing took her away from her old home until she found the lands of Sanctuary, full of bustling horses. A yearling colt first claimed her but was almost immediately driven away from her by an older stallion with a large herd. She never did have a foal with him, each attempt would result in a failure. He died recently, the herd dispersed and now Cleo is on her own again.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION•
Cleo is a very well built mare, how else would she have won all her shows and competitions? Cleo posses a nice, correct head with large nostrils and a large jibbah (forehead) that gives the appearance of having a dished head while not actually being dished. Her ears are small and slim. Her eyes are large, round, and set well apart but they are not dark. She instead possesses bright, blue eyes which has no real negatives besides disqualifying her from breeding classes. Her head sits on a strong, slim but well muscled neck that is of correct length and shape that runs back smoothly into moderately high withers. She has a straight back and has well sprung ribs. Her croup, while not straight with her back, is pretty level. Her tail is placed correctly, neither too high up or set too low, and she carries it straight behind her. Her legs and hooves are strong and correct, able to support her weight, power her movements with ease and posses no visible faults. She has a long, well sloping shoulder. She is well muscled all over. All her gaits are fluid and graceful.
On top of her excellent conformation, she has very striking coloring. Her coloring is caused by the W15 dominant white gene, which gives her markings that look like sabino and may commonly be referred to as sabino markings for the sake of ease and simplicity, but she is not sabino. She has lots of white showing on the left side of her belly and neck and on her right side, she has smaller patches of white on her neck, and patches of white near and on her flank.

Personality:
Fable is a sweet and kind horse, one that loves to have a large group of friends. Strong maternal instincts, Fable adores foals. Fable will happily take in an orphaned foal any day. She is extremely protective of her foals but only ever wants to do what she truly believes is best for them. She is usually sympathetic and caring to others but can be automatically distrusting or cold to some. As an Arabian, she's almost always on the lookout for potential threats or dangers. She has a dominating and stubborn side that is brought out in her when she experiences freedom.

History:
Fable was a show horse, halter to be specific. She won a lot of the regional shows and even once won national. She was bred twice, and her foals sold off to other homes when they turned two. She was, 'pampered' as the humans would say. The finest grain and hay, and some of the largest stalls around in one of the nicest barns. She was always kept in a stall so as to not get hurt in pasture. She hated it when she was stalled. Loving a horse is more than fine stalls and good food after all. A horse desires freedom. To be in a pasture with grass, to be able to run and interact with other horses. To be a horse. No sane horse longs to be in a stall all day. Fable longed for it, freedom, and she got it. She has spent a couple years in the wild now, being separated from her last stallion and foal in the tornado.

Physical Description:
Fable was a pretty ideal mare back in the days of humans. She had a triangular head with the large jibbah, wide set eyes that were very expressive and kind looking, her ears small and slim, her nose slightly dished giving her a little bit of a convex facial profile and her nostrils large. Her neck was long and slim, tying nicely to her withers of moderate height. Her shoulders were long and sloped, her legs were straight and correct in every way and her hooves were large and round as well. Her chest is just a tad on the narrow side but she has a good girth. Her back is short and straight, her ribs well sprung. Her croup was not perfectly level with her back, having a slight slant to it. Her tail is naturally carried high and fairly straight behind her back, though her tail can curve to the left just a slight bit. Her hips are wide and round, her hindquarters and shoulders muscular.

Personality:
Xantara has the patience of a saint, something she inherited from her mother and certainly not her father. She can get ganged up on by an entire harem and still have her calm; it's difficult to get her to snap. Understanding, Xantara can place herself in other's shoes easily and is often an extremely forgiving mare, sometimes a bit too much so. She's also rather trusting of others. Xantara is kind and caring mare with strong motherly instincts, she adores foals and will more than happily take in any orphan she sees, as well, she often becomes like a sort of mom to her friends and becomes very attentive and protective of her friends. She bonds quickly and strongly to others, you'll have a friend for life with her. Xantara is neither submissive or dominating. She can be assertive when she needs to be, she won't let herself be pushed around and walked over by everybody but neither does she have a very strong desire to fight for a high rank.

History:
Xantara was a born and raised human's horse. She lived a pretty spoiled and comfortable life. Her parents were champions in show jumping and Xantara herself was destined to be a champion show jumper herself and had been jumping for two years,
up to level five when the humans disappeared. When she wasn't competing, Xantara was kept in a pasture with other mares and geldings and was worked often, usually in the arena but they'd go on trail rides often enough as well.
Xantara was quite perplexed when her human suddenly vanished right before her eyes. She left her paddock through the open gate her human had been standing at moments before and spent a couple days going around looking for other humans, Xantara just trying to figure out what just happened but eventually gave up and started her life anew as a feral.

Physical Descirption:
Xantara is a striking and beautiful mare. Her head has a straight profile, dry and wide cheeks. Her eyes are large and expressive. Her nostrils and lips are thin, her ears also thin and long. Her nostrils are small. She has a swan neck, not to be confused with an ewe neck, that runs into high withers. Her back is long, her croup of moderate length with a slight slant. Her tail is set low and flags like an Arabian straight behind her when aroused. Her hips are wider and thicker than most Akhal-Tekes and her ribs are also more well sprung than most Akhal-Tekes but still a little flat. Her chest is narrow, her shoulder long and sloping with nice muscling. Her legs are long and dry, her hooves small but strong. Her tail is sparse, her mane and forelock have also been allowed to grow since the humans have disappeared and have grown to decent lengths but are thin and sparse. Her skin is thin and she carries a single cream gene, making her especially shiny and dazzling. She carries the sooty gene, causing her all of her legs to be dark, along with most of her chest and back. They bleed back to gold around her barrel and the middle of her hindquarters and neck, giving an appearance somewhat similar to dappling. Black also covers her eyes, across her forehead and down the bridge of her nose.

Personality:
She'll never be that confident lead horse everyone trusts, it's just not in her, she is a horse that looks to others to lead her and doesn't like a lot of confrontation. She is intelligent, quick to learn and eager to please. Pepper is a highly alert mare and makes for a great lookout and often will be one of the first to notice something. She'll also most likely be the first one to run as she spooks easily. Pepper absolutely loves to play and it can make her quiet grumpy when no one else is up for it. Pepper used to be quiet submissive, and she still is really, but as she matures more mentally she's becoming a bit more confident and pushy as she starts to test her boundaries once more.

History:
Pepper was bred for the show ring, her pedigree full of very well known and respected stallions and mares. Her old owners kept her locked up in a stall most of the time and when she was turned out it was usually by herself in a small run. She was sold to a family as a halter and western pleasure prospect at the age of three, but she basically turned into a pasture puff with two other mares. You won't see her complaining about it though, life was good.

Physical Description:
Pepper can be described in short as, above average, better than most Arabians but don't expect her to ever win nationals. She has a nice, triangular head with a slight dish but not extreme in any way, with large nostrils and small ears. Her eyes are set correctly and are very expressive. Her neck is slim and of correct length. She has good, sloping shoulders. Most importantly, her legs are straight with correct lengths and good angles and her hooves are nice and strong as well. Her back is a tad too long, her hindquarters are a bit weak and her chest is narrow. Ideally, she would have a bit more hip, her croup would be more level with her back, and her chest would be a bit broader. Pepper has a good girth and a fairly well sprung ribcage. Overall, she has nice movement. She carries her tail slightly to the left when flagged. Her right front hoof is mostly yellow in color, due to a leg marking, with a one inch thick black stripe running down her hoof a bit left of center.

Personality:
Menhit tries to be brave, but it's hard when she can only see half the world at a time. She tries, she tries so hard but often the anxiety and fear becomes too much for her and she'll crumble and bolt. Menhit's birth herd has been nothing but kind, caring horses but she has not been treated so nicely by outsiders, making her wary and untrusting of newcomers. Once she is shown kindness though, she often opens up and will begin placing all her trust on you. She is sensitive and easily hurt, a fact about herself she hates. She is kind like her mother, she is reluctant to speak ill of others unless they clearly deserve it. If she lets something slip in the heat of the moment she'll regret it and feel immense guilt soon after. Menhit just wants to have a good time in life, she wants everyone to have a good time and she hates when others are feeling sad. Menhit is still young and impressionable, able to easily be influenced one way or the other.

History:
Menhit was born in the rp and is being raised by her biological mother and father. When she was young, about three months old, a male African Lion attacked her, severely injuring her and leaving her permanently blind in one eye along with long scratch marks down her back and puncture wounds in both shoulders, both of which have healed and white fur has grown in over them. She almost did not survive but managed to pull through right before the storm hit.

Physical Description:
Menhit has some negatives but also a few good things improved due to her father's genes. Her head is much like her mother's with a bit of a straighter profile due to her father. Her eyes are set wide apart and 1/3 the way down her head. Nostrils are large, ears are small. Her neck is of good length and thicker than her dam's but slimmer than her sire's. Her back is strong and of average length, longer than desired for an Arabian. Her hips are stronger, wider and more rounded thanks to her father. Her croup is at a slight slant, her tail placed lower than typical for an Arabian, she carries it up high and relatively straight behind her, sometimes with a slight lean to the left. Her legs are straight and correct, her forearms long and cannons short. Her pasterns are short, her fetlock clean and her hooves large, round and strong. Her shoulder slopes well and has good muscling. Her chest is wider than her mother's but still just a bit narrow but not very noticeable at all. She has a good, deep girth and well muscled hindquarters and gaskins.

Myth can be quite snobby and stuck up at times. She has a high-self esteem and often sees herself better than others. Other than that, she tends to remain friendly to others and is always down to play. She can be a bit of a flirt. She is honest and upfront, you will know if she likes you and if she doesn't like you. She can be dominating and feisty like her mother and she does not back down easily. She loves to get the last word in and sometimes just doesn't know when to be quiet for her own good. She is forever loyal to those who are good to her.

History:
Myth was born two years after the humans disappeared. She was born when her mother had no herd but they soon found a tall draft stallion named Donovan. Shortly after joining Donovan, her mother's original stallion showed up, Jericho, to take her back. Donovan died in the fight and Fable and Myth joined Jericho's herd. A few months later in the winter months, Fable's adopted foal, Alouette showed up and convinced her mother to leave Jericho's herd and join her. Currently Myth is travelling with Pilgrim's herd.

Physical Description:
If humans were still alive and they owned her, Myth would be a fantastic show horse. Her head is small and short, her eyes large and expressive set wide apart. Her profile is straight, her nostrils large, ears small and slim. She has a nice, long, arching neck with a very clean throatlatch. Her withers are high, well defined and prominent. Her back is straight and short, if leaning a bit to the longer side. Her croup is fairly level with her back with only a very, very slight slant. Her tail is set high and she carries it high straight behind herself. Her hip is long, round and powerful. Her shoulders are deep and sloping laid nicely with muscle. Her chest is broad, her girth deep and her ribs very well sprung. Her legs are straight and correct from all angles, she has long forearms and straight cannons. Her sloping pasterns are longer than her dam's. Hooves are nice, strong and round.
