This isn't a 'real life situation'. Shale and Glacia should have been informed before all those dragons just waltzed off into enemy territory! They're the leaders, they need to know whats going on, and it's their place to be going to talk peace, not the fighters. Shale could exile Aleta for insubordination, and getting another of their fighters killed. :<

I think this is all being taken way too far. Maybe instead of everyone jumping the gun they could all try listening. Sometimes leaders aren't the best at creating peace, but a fighter is. I don't see the leaders trying to come together to do anything peaceful. If a fighter goes out of their way to make peace then so be it! They are at least trying something. And again, in real life scenarios not everyone is informed. Sometimes others go behind backs to get things done for the better. This whole thing was discussed here in this thread.

I really feel like we should have discussed that as a whole group.. because some dragon comitting treason and breaking the rules without the people playing the leaders being informed.. its incredibly undermining and confusing. DX

When you think about it though in a real world situation not everyone knows about these things and it was discussed here before we roleplayed it out.

That is not the point. You took it upon yourselves to take a big plot twisting step without asking anyone else or involving anyone else, from what I read you brought about more pain and grief just to kill off one character. This may happen in RL all the time, but discussion is the key to maintaining a roleplay and keeping it interesting. Hence why the scheme with mine, Captain's, Nightflame's and Asher's dragons is going well. Because we plan in advance and think out the conciquences.

I'm sorry, but I quite like this roleplay and I just hate it when people break into their own paths like that. Because in the end it affects us all.

I talked to royal about it and she said she wasn't going to make this public and just wanted to see how it would go. Soldier wanted to kill of their character because they didn't want to roleplay with them. That wasn't part of the original idea that I had, but between solder, captain, soul, and I we thought of a way to get him killed. We had captain's Blaze create a ring of fire around soul's and mine dragons, soldier's would go recruit her dragon and blaze would kill him. We had that planned out and it was talked through here.

I don't know what you guys mean by not knowing what's going on when everything was clearly discussed here in the discussion thread before we took it to the roleplaying thread. Are there going to be consequences? Yes, but then again everything has a consequence.

I'm trying to undrstand what was wrong here. I know this roleplay isn't a RL scenario, but even in fiction some RL stuff needs to be included to make things more believable. I can see why you both feel uninformed and confused by everything that happened, but if it was a big deal you could have said something before we did anything. I can see that you guys are flowing well because you talk things out, but we talked all of this out here too. I'm sure Soul, Soldier, and Captain can vouch for me on that. I have every intention to have my dragon talk to Shale and Glacia, but I wasn't sure if now would be the time considering that they seem busy at the moment. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, so I am just waiting for the perfect time to talk to them.

I'm not talking about this anymore, you're not taking in what we're saying at all. You don't cause a big drama for an excuse to kill one OC. Especially not in a manner that effects everyone like this. Why you couldn't just kill him in the attack or as a result of the attack eludes me.

In the defense of the leaders, they are busy picking up the pieces left behind after wildfires attack, they shouldn't have to worry about their fighters thinking they know whats best or all four clans. Be it a peace attempt or not, this has blown a massive hole in the plot line. There was supposed to be an organized meeting between the four clans with all four leaders present, after Ice and shadow clans had a chance to recuperate some, so a course of action could be decided upon and so that everyone would be on the same page, but you've jumped the proverbial gun incredibly just to kill off one dragon. This kind of large scale change to the plot line should be agreed on by everyone, not just those who came up with the idea.
And I get the need for kill off an unnecessary character, but as long as he wasn't majorly involved he could have just faded out, and been forgotten. There wasn't a need to change the entire plot line.
and even if it was posted here, not everyone can keep up with this thread 24/7 7 days a week. there should have been a poll, or more of an effort to make others aware of the potential decision before just doing it ;-;

I'm extremely sorry and am I one to blame for wanting to kill off my dragon and thinking about the plan! I didn't know that I should have informed everyone involved in the roleplay, I just thought I had to get those involved in the plan to kill him agreed..I'm suuupper sorry!!

None of the rest us knew that there was suppose to be a meeting between the four leaders. From what I'm getting is that none of us are allowed to have any ideas or any fun in this roleplay. It just sounds like that the four people who are roleplaying as the leaders are the only ones with any say and if they don't like the idea it doesn't go. I'm not up to speed on everyting that goes on here either, but if you are so concerned about what goes on then maybe you could try reading through the comments in the discussion thread. At this point this roleplay isn't even fun for me anymore. I feel like I'm not allowed to have any ideas and when I do everything seems fine and once it happenes om my goodness it's a huge problem. I have taken to heart what you guys said, but it seems like neither of you have even read what I was saying. I really don't want to roleplay here anymore if this is how things are going to be.

We aren't trying to drive anyone away, are we aren't trying to discourage new ideas. There was plenty of mention of a meeting between clans, and it been mentioned several times in the roleplay as well, so perhaps what can be taken from this is that both sides of this debate should work at making sure everyone is on the same page before progressing into plot changing drama.

In that case we might be able to patch this up by maybe Ali admitting to what she did because she wanted to help? Maybe it helps lead up to the four clans working together to help Shadow rebuild, and get ice clan on their feet? My original idea had fire clan helping ice clan by melting the snow caused by the Avalanche and then maybe having ice clan help fire clan prepare for the freeze?
