Gemini was bought as a puppy from a well-known breeder for a little kid, after a while his owner became uninterested and his owners parents gave him to a family member after getting sick of caring for a dog. Ending up being outside day and night because Gemini couldn't get along with their cats, after a few months they took Gemini to the pound where he stayed... Being old and shy made it hard for people to think of adopting him, he stayed in the corner and never came to the gate. Gemini was transferred twice before the 'Incompatibles' Project took him in.

pitbulls are great pups, I just wish they weren't so....illegal in Australia

I agree. Recently went to a bunch of different shelters here in Melb with my sister (she just adopted a little schipperke x finnish spitz), and the amount of pit crosses broke my heart. And such sweet natured dogs- I've never met one who wasn't lovely.

Haha, that is why I love living in Canberra! Pits aren't illegal here, and I actually see quite a few around. I keep wanting to get one but parents are anti-pits.
