History ⋮ Aurelia was brought as an energetic young
pup with lots of spirit, from a backyard breeder.
She had a happy life, until she got to her new home.
Chained in the backyard, her spirit was steadily
broken as she became a piece of scenery, not a pet.
She was eventually rescued, seen by a concerned visitor,
but the damage was already done. She had lost trust.

Personality ⋮ Aurelia was a happy, excitable young dog, and there still some traces of that spirit within her,
even with her withdrawn personality.
As with any of her breed, she has a lot of energy, a lot of it nervous. She is quite sociable with other dogs,
but is quite quiet even with them, and certainly not trusting of humans.
She is smart, and willing to learn, but just doesn't engage very well at the moment.
She just wants a home and someone to love, with no restraints.
She will react very strongly to being tied to anything, and can turn scared aggressive almost too quickly to follow.
After her rescue from her first home, she was adopted out to a few families, who just couldn't deal with her issues.

Personality ⋮ Genji, true to his breed, is a noisy, yappy, howling and generally vocal dog, who is fiercer than he
appears. He is incredibly protective of himself and whoever he feels most loyal to, and will get aggressive
if he needs to, biting, growling, lunging and barking at whatever has him feeling threatened.
He is also an anxious dog, and this does not help his aggression, making the list of things, people, or
animals he snaps at even longer than it already was. Separation anxiety is definitely the worst in
this case, and he will get destructive if left alone for more than a few minutes.
All this incredibly smart dog really wants is to be a loyal, happy, family pet, with one owner who he
guards and adores as directed and needed.

History ⋮ Genji was bred on a farm in the southern states of the U.S.A, and was initially intended to be a hunting
dog, to retrieve and locate the game to make it easier on the hunters- and let them do less work tracking. He
was small, perfect to sneak up on targets, but, and what the humans didn't realize was, an easier kicking bag
for the targets to fight back against. The little dog hated this life, and was forced to do the job even as a
pup, not allowed to play or enjoy life with others of his kind.
After he got kicked by a deer he was tracking, cracking a few ribs and doing some damage to his lungs,
he was left abandoned in the woods to die, to be found by a passing hiker 4 days later; a nervous wreck,
in pain, and scarred both in body and in mind.

History: Peter is an English boy who moved across to America with his parents when he was eight years old.
He's lived there ever since, and has no desire to go back to live in the UK, but he does visit from time to time to see
old friends and family. They settled in Seattle, and the young boy grew up into a handsome man, popular in school,
loving and good parents, with a bunch of good friends. He was ruined by a girl named Daphne, who he met in his 10th year
at school. She blackmailed, stalked, and upset him and his family after a rough break up.
His family moved from Seattle that year to White Mountain for more air and a rural life, and Peter was more than happy to go,
looking forward to the future. He has high hopes for the new program, hoping that a dog will help him move on with his life.

Personality: Peter is withdrawn and what his teachers call 'moody', reserved and quite quiet, the antitheses of
himself before Daphne. He doesn't mingle much, and though he occasionally gets some attention for his looks and his accent,
he doesn't really take an interest in any women, and shies away from them a little. He just doesn't want to be hurt again, so
doesn't really reach out at all because of it.

Note: He is sapiosexual, which means that physical appearance or gender doesn't matter- he is attracted to the mind
and inner self of a person.

History ⋮ Alicia grew up as one child of seven. Her parents
struggled due to the number, and Alicia, being the eldest, was
often overlooked and expected to help with her siblings as a
'second mum'. When she was 14, sick and tired of that life, she
made her own way out into the world, and lived without a home
for almost a year, before joining a community house and trying
to get her life back on line- and back into music.
She cut all ties to her family, and never plans on returning.

Personality ⋮ Alicia is the personification of moody teenager. She is sarcastic, brutally honest, and just doesn't
take any crap from anyone. She's a fighter for sure, and does not make friends easily. She is often in trouble for
her attitude, and she feels like she owes the world nothing- it threw her a bad hand, so what does she owe it?
Alicia is very absorbed in her music, and often prefers mixing and recording and listening to it more than she does
mingling with other students or just any people at all. She's never had a particular interest in dogs, but figures
this is a good excuse to try something new... and get her out of her regular, boring classes!

She has been in a few relationships before, a couple with guys and one with a girl- an experiment of sorts, but
decided after the latter that she is in fact, hetero. She would love to make a connection with a guy, but doesn't
seem to worried about the fact that guys are almost scared to approach her!

Personality:: Dakota is normally quiet and keeps to himself, he likes trying to be friendly with people but never knows what to say. He likes to be isolated from others or ignored.

Negative Traits:: He has trust issues and doesn't like how shy and nervous he is.
Fears:: Dakota is scared of losing his family to cancer due to his grandmother dying of it ( he wasn't close to her )and also he is deathly afraid of horses

Background/History:: Dakota was born in a large city and moved around a lot because his father was in the navy until an attack causing him to be unable to walk and have to stay home and be a stay at home father. Dakota's mother is a lawyer so she is gone a lot, Dakota takes care of his father as much as he can. Dakota is normally acting happy around his family but when he is alone he is emotional because his mother can't help him with his father and his father doesn't support the LGBT+ community so Dakota is still in the closet, acting what is father calls " Normal ". Dakota doesn't have depression or anything like that, but he does have Anxiety and social anxiety.

Personality:: Apollo is as intelligent and protective as any Malinois is bred to be, but he seemed to have missed that common 'friendly' trait. He is snappy and quick tempered towards strangers he deems untrustworthy and has chosen to keep himself at a distance from most humans and may seem aggressive or unapproachable by other dogs. Through this all he can be affectionate and mindful of others with lots of energy to play or preform some type of job if trained.
Positive Traits:: Protective, Intelligent, Curious, Alert, Energetic
Negative Traits:: Stubborn, Isolated, Quick Tempered to strangers
Fears:: Being cornered or held down, Large and crowded areas while alone, Sudden loud sounds near him

Background/History:: Apollo was taken from the shelter he was born in at age 2 with plans to make him a great guard dog - but his previous owner had little clue on how to train the dog and spent little time with him, resulting in the untrained Apollo's slight aggression towards strangers and his lack of interest in large crowds. The Malinois was immediately taken away after a nip at the owner who repeatably provoked Apollo to do something after he'd had enough and eventually landed in 'The Incompatibles' kennels after a year of moving from home to home and shelter to shelter.

Personality:: Vincent is plenty nice and willing to listen but he has some trust issues and his sarcasm can come off as mean, snarky comments. He's incredibly affectionate, to where it's almost clingy, and finds comfort in even just sitting close to someone he's grown fond of or being able to take of another's wounds or sickness. Because he often sticks to the sidelines, Vincent may be awkward and seem unsure of himself when approached by people he doesn't know but loosens up a bit and enjoys laughing with another he's used to.
Positive Traits:: Friendly, Curious, Gentle, Affectionate
Negative Traits:: Untrusting, Stubborn, Sarcastic, Easily manipulated/Gullible
Fears:: Being isolated/left behind, Violence aimed at him, Extreme heights (tops of tall buildings, can handle most fair rides and such, uneasy on mountain however)

Background/History:: Vincent lived with his mother in a small, cozy home closer to the forest ever since his father walked out while he was 3 - though the boy doesn't seem bothered in the least. At school he is teased about his sexuality since his accidental outing in the last year of middle school that pursued his untrusting ways. While it was a rumor that he'd be gay, a boy was dared to trick Vincent into thinking that he'd fallen for the other and confessed the feelings he didn't have, Vincent was incredibly surprised and happy that another boy had asked him out and immediately accepted with no questions asked - only to be made fun of and called various names the next day by his classmates and end up left in the dirt. Since then he'd pushed himself away and stayed from most school events to avoid any chance of replaying the fear and sadness he'd experienced.
